Teyana Taylor is keeping her promise to release a new album before the end of the year.
The singer has revealed that the follow-up to K.T.S.E. will arrive on Dec. 6. When a fan joked about the lengthy wait for new music, Teyana confirmed the release date.

The album will include a collaboration with Kehlani, for which she plans to shoot a video for on Oct. 18. She previously previewed their sensual duet on Instagram Live.

The album will mark Teyana’s first since the critically-acclaimed K.T.S.E., which was released in June 2018. In August, she dropped a video for her ’90s-inspired single “How You Want It?” featuring Christian “King” Combs.
Unlike K.T.S.E., which was produced entirely by Kanye West, Taylor is working with other producers. “This one is a little bit of everybody,” she told Elton John on Apple Music’s Beats 1. “I want to kind of explore a little bit more, get a couple more people involved, to really, really bring to life my vision, and not just be set on one set person, or one set sound.”
In between music and directing videos for T.I. and ScHoolboy Q, Teyana has also joined the cast of the upcoming Coming to America sequel, which is slated to open in theaters Dec. 18, 2020.
