Tekashi 6ix9ine Files To Commute Sentence To Home Confinement; Fears For Life In Prison

According to a breaking report from TMZ, Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez has filed to finish the remainder of his sentence at home due to the threats on his life after becoming a cooperating witness against the Nine Trey Blood gang.

Tekashi’s lawyer Lance Lazzaro filed documents today to have the disgraced rapper commute the rest of his sentence to home confinement or a more safe facility, in which they cite the “Gummo” rapper’s safety is “seriously at risk” after becoming a government witness against the gang he once swore allegiance to during his apex as one of Hip Hop’s most dynamic figures.

Earlier this month, Tekashi was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for his role in the Nine Trey racketeering case. Being that he’s already served more than a year behind bars, 6ix9ine could be released as early as August of this year.
