Rising Memphis producer Tay Keith isn’t in agreement with the preconceived notion of school being uncool in Hip-Hop.
So unlike Kanye West, Tay Keith will not be a college dropout. In fact, on December 15, the producer who just earned his first number one record, is set to walk across the stage of Middle Tennessee State University, receiving a degree in media management.
Keith, who produced “Sicko Mode,” which took over the top spot on the Billboard top 100 songs chart this week, took it to Instagram to remind people that he is, in fact, a student musician.
Travis Scott, who has the number one album andNo.1 single, of course, showed love to the person who assisted him in his new accomplishments by liking the picture, but other notable stars joined in on the congratulating. Don Cannon, Elliot Wilson, Block Boy JB, Project Pat and many more cheered for him in the comments.
Besides “Sicko Mode,” Keith has produced Block Boy JB’s “Look Alive,” and “Shoot,” and he also made “Nonstop,” which peaked at number two on the Billboard.
