Young M.A. Brings Out The Freaks With IG Live Twerk Contest

Young M.A Performs At Electric Brixton

At a time when everyone is going live online to combat loneliness and boredom from social distancing, artists like Young M.A. are still living their best life—only virtually.

On Thursday (Mar 26), Young M.A. went live on Instagram to talk to her fans and show fans love. When one fan asked what she missed most during the quarantine, that’s when things took a freaky turn.

”What do I miss during lockdown? The motherf*cking strip club,” Young M.A. said reading comments from fans. “Matter of fact let’s do something different, how many of ya’ll ladies down to twerk? I’ll bless ya cashapp?”

It was at that point that the “Oouu” rapper turned Club Quarantine into a twerk party.

“In order to participate, you can’t have been on here before and you have to be ready to twerk as soon as we get to you,” Young M.A. said outlining the rules. “Let’s go!”

After the rules were outlined, the ladies turned up and turned out, twerking live on camera while Young M.A.’s protege and friend Reem playing DJ.

”Reem going to put on the hits ladies, ya’ll just be ready to go,” Young M.A. said.

Young M.A. isn’t the first rapper that attempted to turn IG Live X-rated, earlier this week Lil’ Boosie went live offering female fans up to $1000 to show their lady parts online, before being warned by Instagram that the request would result in his page being shut down.

Although the “Kold World” rapper got it jumping, she made sure to let the ladies know to keep it covered.

“We want to see ass cheeks, but that’s it ladies,” Young M.A. continued. “We aren’t trying to get shut down.”

Kodak Black Shoots his Shot at Young MA, She Responds Calling him ‘Weird’

Kodak Black is seemingly getting dragged online for expressing his sexual attraction to Young MA in his recent song, “Pimpin Ain’t Eazy.”

The Dying To Live rapper mentioned M.A more than once on the record.

“I be pullin’ out straps on these f**k niggas/I go Young M.A on these dumb b*****s/Like a dyke man, you n****s can’t f**k with me,” he spits on the chorus. On the second verse he adds, “I’m f****n’ Young M.A, long as she got a coochie/Say she got the strap and the toolie, say she put the crack in her booty.”

The Brooklyn rapper is openly gay and clearly disapproved of the lyrics. When asked about her thoughts of the song by a fan, MA answered, “Y’all keep talking about this Kodak situation. Y’all niggas is weird, bro,” she said. “Come on, obviously the nigga is weird, bro. Obviously, he on some shit, bro.” But Kodak jumped on Instagram Live and dismissed her comments.

“Yo, y’all stop making Young M.A. mad. That’s my dog!” The Florida rapper said. “Don’t do that, baby. We gon’ catch up. I just wanna be the homie. I just wanna be the forever homie in the cut, vibing…whenever you make up your mind up, I’m here. [slurp] I’m talking about bae so cute!”

He continued, “I do a lot of stuff, but I do more good than I do bad and more people love me than hate me,” Kodak says. “I’m talking about, how you a girl but don’t want your pussy penetrated? How? Don’t me mad at me, ’cause I want you, baby. Don’t be mad at me!”

Kodak Black’s controversial comments about Young M.A comes ahead of his trial for sexual assault, which starts next month.

Young M.A. Checks Kodak Black For Shooting Shot, Twitter Smells Brewing Beef

Kodak Black is proving to be an emerging social media personality without much of a filter, and that translates into his music as well. In a new track, the Florida rapper threw a shot at the openly-gay Young M.A. which prompted the Brooklyn rapper to call him “weird.”

On his track “Pimpin’ Ain’t Eazy,” Kodak raps, “I don’t even see the confusion/I’m f*ckin’ Young M.A. as long as she got a coochie.

This didn’t sit well with Young M.A., who took to her Instagram story to respond.

“Obviously, the n*gga’s weird bro. Obviously he’s on some sh*t bro. Come on, that sh*t is weird,” she said.

Young M.A. says that she intends to have words for Kodak Black, who has since responded to her video with one of his own, stating that the “OooUuu” star is his “dawg.”

Young M.A.’s name has been trending on Twitter and fans have speculated that some kind of static is inevitable. Others have noted that Kodak is venturing deep into the world of sexual harassment as well.

We’ve caught the best of the reactions below.

There Were Some Incredible Freestyles In 2018. Here Are The Year’s Best (Video)

For all the chatter about Mumble Rap taking over, there have been a number of MCs who put on incredible lyrical displays in 2018. Artists like Royce 5’9, Styles P, Pusha-T, Evidence, Benny The Butcher, Jay Rock, Logic and J. Cole released projects packed with punchlines and substantive verses, and several others like Rapsody, Kendrick Lamar and JAY-Z unleashed features that had Hip-Hop abuzz. And, a number of artists flexed freestyles with chips on their shoulders.

Typically, blockbuster artists have fallen back from freestyling, leaving the forum for underground rappers and up and coming MCs, but 2018 saw some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop stepping into the booth too. Will Smith showed the world that he’s still fresh on the mic, Eminem returned to his Battle Rap roots, and even Drake dusted off his headphones. Up and comers like Tierra Whack and ANoyd also showed and proved. Here’s a look at some the year’s best, in chronological order.

Tory Lanez Rips The 5 Fingers Of Death

Tory Lanez has been at the center of a lot of controversy over the last several weeks, taking shots at everyone from Joyner Lucas to Royce 5’9, but he also has been absolutely fearless in backing up his words with rhymes. Will Smith has absolutely nothing left to prove. He is a Grammy-winning artist, was the lead character on one of TV’s most iconic shows, and is one of the biggest movie stars to ever walk the planet. But, every once in a while, he likes to remind people of how he got his start, as a rapper. In May, he stepped in the booth, and flexed, just because.

Big Daddy Kane Freestyles Raw, Uncut & With A Chip On His Legendary Shoulders

Big Daddy Kane has never gone away, but he was more visible in 2018 than he has been in recent years, likely in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Long Live The Kane. Drake Shows He’s Still Got That Fire In The Booth

Drake is the biggest artist in Hip-Hop, and possibly all of music right now…He has nothing to gain from freestyling and everything to lose, but he still took the time to step in the booth in July. Mysonne Has A Message In His Music

Since he re-appeared on the music scene after serving a prison sentence, Mysonne has been a man on a mission. Mistah F.A.B. is a force. He is part of the elite club of MCs who are gifted with the ability to rap off the top of the head about anything, and he does so effortlessly. He goes off in this Sway In The Morning freestyle.

2018 was a much deserved victory lap for Jay Rock. The TDE OG had his biggest album ever, commanded his first sold out show, and opened the BET Awards. While in the UK, he used a Migos beat to show he’s still got freestyle skills too.

She proclaims herself a combination of Andre 3000 and The Beatles on this short but potent freestyle.

Eminem Returns To His Battle Rap Roots

In a year when Eminem seemingly went after everybody on his Kamikaze album, it makes perfect sense that he would return to his Battle Rap roots. Earlier this month, he dropped a 10-minute a cappella freestyle filled with nothing but BARS.

Vic Mensa Says Biggie & Tupac Live On Through Him

Vic Mensa has become a perennial presence on these best freestyle of the year lists. The Chicago MC dazzles over and over again. It’s no surprise that he closed out 2018 with another one of the year’s best lyrical displays.
