Diamond D’s New Album Features Erick Sermon, Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli & More

It has been nearly five years since D.I.T.C. co-founder Diamond D released a solo album. The self-proclaimed “best producer on the mic” dropped one of his most exciting albums in the form of 2014’s The Diam Piece. Producing all but one of the tracks (which was by DJ Scratch), the affair involved a who’s who of Hip-Hop, and many of the MCs closely tied to the Bronx, New York native’s 30-year career.

On May 10, Diamond will release The Diam Piece 2. Like the first volume, this LP involves a cross-section of Rap artists as well as singers. Features include Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, Styles P, Xzibit, Elzhi, Boot Camp Clik, Erick Sermon, Havoc, Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli, O.C., Termanology, Raekwon, Fred The Godson, Twista, A-F-R-O, and David Banner. The project comes from D’s Dymond Mine Records, LLC.
