Last week Uber went public and apparently that’s good news for Beyonce.
People Magazine reports that Bey received $6 million in restricted stock units (RSUs) from Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick to perform at an event. That’s what she meant when she said to pay her in equity in “Apesh*t” featuring her husband, JAY-Z.
With the IPO, Queen Bey is estimated to profit $300 million from her shares. MarketWatch calls Uber’s IPO, “the biggest in years” and that the company “raised more than $8 billion,” although it fell short of its projected $100 billion.
Beyonce has proven time and time again that she’s really better than the hype. Yonce and Hov have been relationship goals for over a decade, not because of their love but because of their empire and legacies. Together they have become Hip Hop’s first billionaire couple through several investments, income, and endorsements.

Uber is investing in new areas such as scooters, bicycles and freight shipments and it’s proving to be costly for the company. According to self-reported financials, the company lost over $1 billion in Q3.
Uber’s road to going public is a bumpy one.
As well as taking that massive L financially, revenue growth for Uber is almost half of what it was six months ago coming in at 38 percent in Q3. Despite the bad news, there are silver linings, the company is still growing, and the San Francisco based still managed to pull in $12.7 billion after paying its driver’s commissions a 34 percent hike from the previous year.
Uber is hoping the rising popularity of Uber Eats which generated $2.1 billion in gross bookings will help the company’s case when trying to go public. Uber is currently valued at $120 billion nearly doubling its $62 billion which was last reported. Drivers in the company are hoping Uber can obtain its public status cause it could possibly lead to them owning company stock.
While there are still doubts about just how profitable Uber can be only on its ride-sharing business, the company is looking to lure in more customers through Uber Eats, its forthcoming drone-based food delivery system and a subscription service called Ride Pass.
Looks like Uber’s CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi has some serious work to do on top of repairing the damage from all of the scandals that happened in the company under previous CEO Travis Kalanick.

Keeping the fire lit, controversial Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6in9ine takes trolling to new heights in his latest shot thrown at Compton rap nemesis YG.
YG’s Uber crashed into someone’s home in the San Fernando Valley of L.A. County and Tekashi alleges that the accident occurred because he was chasing him.
The “Big Bank” rapper was actually riding in the back passenger seat of the Uber when it crashed into someone’s front yard.
DJ Akademiks revealed the news of the crash, where the “Gummo” rapper jumped right into the comments to claim responsibility.
The allegation has not been confirmed, but the cross country beef between these two is definitely valid.

YG was the passenger of a Chevy Suburban that crashed into someone’s front yard in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. TMZ reports the “Big Bank” rapper was the passenger of the vehicle, which was an Uber.
Images captured by TMZ show the SUV well into the yard of the home next to a tree. There are currently no details as to why the Uber crashed into the yard, however, there were no major injuries reported.
The video does show YG at the scene, seemingly extremely confused as to what happened like everyone else, with a man who appears to be an angry homeowner.

The NFL continues to be connected to drama. In the latest news one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ star players has been accused of imposing himself on an unwilling female.
According to Buzzfeed News in 2016 Jameis Winston allegedly forced himself upon his Uber driver. The victim, only known as Kate P., reportedly picked him and some of associates up at the International nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona at 1:41 a.m.. Her lawsuit reads that “as the men approached the vehicle, one of them stated, ‘She is hot. You should sit in the front seat, Jameis.’”
The Florida State University alumni proceed to sit in the front passenger seat as they requested to be taken to a Mexican drive through for food. While waiting for the order the she claims Winston “leaned toward Plaintiff and placed his fingers between her legs and pressed them firmly against her vagina over her yoga pants”.
The lawsuit states she “looked at Defendant and then back down at his hand and asked, ‘What’s up with that?’ Defendant Winston then withdrew his hand.” Kate P then texted her boyfriend that night saying “I just got semi molested by the Tampa Bay Buc QB,” and admitted she was “pretty shaken up…”
She admits that she had initial doubts about coming forward with the story but was inspired by the #MeToo movement. Kate contacted the website as they had ran similar stories; they eventually ran a feature on her in November of 2017. The quarterback was later suspended for three games during the 2018-2019 NFL season. He can return to the team on September 25.
His legal team has not provided a formal comment to Buzzfeed.com regarding the alleged groping. In 2015 he was accused of stealing crab legs from a Publix grocery store.
