“Accidental” n-word user TylerNinja” Blevins just made a major news announcement that will likely shift the balance of streaming. The world’s most famous gamer is ditching Twitch to Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer.

The 28-year-old gamer dropped the bombshell announcement he was leaving Twitch for its direct competitor via his Twitter account stating “I’m super excited!”

The streaming platform is hoping by joining forces with Ninja, who is considered to be the “most important gamer” on the planet his massive fanbase will follow. The gamer has over 22 million viewers on his YouTube channel, and a large portion of them watched Ninja play games like Fortnite on Twitch.

Ninja reportedly makes about a whopping $500,000 just for streaming. He also has a number of endorsement deals and allegedly got a cool million just to play Respawn’s battle royal shooter Apex Legends. For those who need a refresher on how Blevins became so popular, his career took off after Drake hopped on one of his Fortnite gaming sessions. No word on if Drizzy ever paid him that $5K he owes him though.

As you can imagine, video game Twitter is extremely happy for Ninja and his possible even bigger payday. One user suggesting he is being paid between $500K- $750K.

Congrats to Ninja, we just hope this means other streamers like SonicFox get their just due.

Soulja Boy Announces He’s Starting Own Esports Team, Reveals Ninja As His Mentor

Soulja Boy Announces He Is Starting His Own Esports Team

Soulja Boy accomplished a life-long dream of launching his own gaming consoles, now he’s looking to start his own Esports team, and he’s gotten advice from one of the most prominent streamers in the world, TylerNinja’ Blevins.

Speaking with TMZ exclusively, Soulja Boy gushed about his love for video games and being able to launch his SouljaGame Console that reportedly plays over 800 Nintendo and PlayStation games. In the video where we point out, he had Nintendo Switch in his hand, Soulja revealed that he was starting his own Esports team at the top of 2019 that will rival 100 Thieves and Team Liquid and under the tutelage of Ninja.

Per TMZ:

Soulja says he’s looking to make an even bigger dent in the video game world — launching his own organization to rival giants like Team Liquid and 100 Thieves.

“We’re gonna be finding talent, hiring talent,” Soulja says … noting plans to create squads for Fortnite, Call of Duty, Counterstrike and more.

As for Ninja, Soulja says gaming’s biggest star is one of his good friends and has taught a lot about the business.

But, he also knows hiring Ninja to play for him would cost a FORTUNE.

Sounds good, we wished he would have connected with Dominique “SonicFox” McLean who took home the Best Esports Player award from this year’s Game Awards show.

But we hope Soulja comprises his team of Black and other people of color who game. There are plenty out there to choose from, we will be keeping our eyes on this situation as it unfolds.

Drake’s ‘Fornite’ Account Possibly Hacked, Imposter Spotted During Ninja’s Charity Stream

Drake's 'Fortnite' Account Possibly Hacked

Source: 100 Thieves

Drizzy might want to update his password because someone apparently was using his Fortnite account and made an appearance during a stream.

The 6 God is a well-known fan of the uber-popular free-to-play game and has made appearances in the famous streamer Tyler Ninja Blevin’s Twitch events. On November 23 during a charity streaming session, a player showed up in a Fortnite game with the handle “Duddus647.” It’s almost similar to Drake’s PS4 handle “TheBoyDuddus,” but the alleged hacker opted for the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s Epic account.

While in the session the person was eerily silent which confirming it was not Drake and to add further more proof the suspect unleashed a string of racist slurs forcing Blevins to leave the game session. Ninja said he will reach out to Epic about the hack and will reach out to Drake to make sure his account is still good.

There has is no confirmation from Epic that Drake’s account was indeed being used, but all evidence strongly suggests that and Ninja seemed to believe it was the Canadian rapper. Drizzy better step his online security game up, this is definitely not a good look at all. We are still wondering if Drake ever paid Ninja that $5,000 he owes him. You can watch the Fornite gaming session with the incident in question below.
