Joe Budden is definitely enjoying the retired life but G.O.O.D Music’s hidden gem Cyhi The Prynce just offered the Hip-Hop commentator an offer that might be too good to resist.

CyHi wants all the smoke when it comes Joe Budden. The State of The Culture host has said some interesting things about No Dope on Sundays rapper on numerous episodes of his popular podcast, CyHi finally responded. During a Team Backpack Cypher ahead of the upcoming A3C Music Festival in Atlanta, CyHi let the chopper spray at Budden letting him know he’s been paying attention.

“I don’t need a Xanny or a shot of brandy/To murder a n***a, playin’ me like I’m cotton candy/Get ya kids napped, tell ’em pop the nanny/Turn your house into The Adams Family/Whoa, you wanna know what I just thought about?/I think that I should’ve been in Slaughterhouse/Leave you with a ribeye tryna clown me/Boy, I knock the legs off a cow just to ground beef/So call Backpack or Smack and tell ’em set it up/And anyone who wanna bring a half a mill, we can bet it up.”

Budden didn’t waste no time responding back and seemed intrigued by the challenge hinting at coming out of retirement.

“CyHi, I have a million dollars, and I’ll clean your ass up. You can’t come to the party with that. … I’m retired; I’m not replying to none of these n***as. … But half a mill, track for track? Of course, we gotta do that.”Any rapper that money has been on the line for—nah, they never really put it up. … I don’t think that CyHi has $500,000 of disposable income.” Budden added, “I want my half a mill, I don’t want to lose it.”

The two rappers have since engaged each other on Twitter putting the battery in Hip-Hop Twitter’s back who want to see the rap battle take place. Hit the gallery below to view the reactions to CyHi’s challenge to Joe below.

Photo of Tom Hanks As Mister Rogers Has Twitter In Its Feelings

Tom Hanks sporting Mister Rogers’ iconic red cardigan and skippies in an upcoming movie? Take our money now and give Hanks all the awards.

Thursday (Sept.27) Sony shared the first photo of Tom Hanks from the upcoming film reportedly titled You Are My Friend due out October 2019 where he will play the beloved children’s television host Fred Rodgers. The film’s director Marielle Heller in speaking with Entertainment Weekly earlier this year states the film “is not a biopic.”

“It’s really not. It’s a movie that’s largely focused on a reporter and (Mr. Rogers’) relationship to his life, and how (the reporter’s) whole world changes when coming in contact with Fred Rogers.”

“(It’s about) one man who’s in a critical point in his life – becoming a new father, having issues with his own father – and meeting Mr. Rogers to write a piece about him, thinking it’s going to be a bit of a puff piece, but it ends up changing his entire life,”

Just based on the photo alone, cinema Twitter is already onboard with the project, and the reveal of the picture was a much-needed distraction to take our minds off things going on in Washington DC that day.  Hit the gallery below to see Twitter give their thumbs up to Hanks in unison and if you haven’t seen the fantastic documentary about Fred Rodgers Won’t You Be My Neighbor? you most definitely should.

Twitter Is Not Feeling Dunkin’ Going By First Name Basis Only In New Rebranding Move

Twitter Reacts Dunkin' Dropping Donuts from name

Your momma named you Dunkin’ Donuts, so we’re going to continue to call you Dunkin’Donuts. That is the sentiment of patrons of the famed doughnut and coffee shop chain after the company announced it’s only going by Dunkin as part of new rebranding move.

The 68-year-old franchise’s rebranding kicks off January 2019 as the company will ditch Donuts and opt to be called just Dunkin’. Now yes doughnuts will still be a staple on the menu alongside its other breakfast and lunch sandwiches, the company now wants to focus on the beverage side which it has done very well for the franchise.

Another eye-opening move the company is making is trimming down its doughnut selection from 30 to 18 “core” options another step that might cause some outrage from loyal customers. Dunkin’ will test this new approach in 1,000 of its 9,000 locations before deciding to on rolling it out nationwide.

Chief marketing officer of Dunkin’, Tony Weisman tried his best to explain the move by describing it as a way to inject a breath of fresh air into the company. He also added:

“By simplifying and modernizing our name, while still paying homage to our heritage, we have an opportunity to create an incredible new energy for Dunkin’.”

Well, that is not how it’s being received at all the moment by Dunkin’ Donuts faithful. It would seem the old cliche if ain’t broke, don’t fix it is the prevailing message here. If Dunkin’ needs any proof messing with things is a bad idea they should refer back to IHOP who jokingly added they were changing their name to IHOB and was met with immediate backlash.

Twitter Thinks Ella Mai’s Label Is “Trippin” For Getting Jacquees Remix of “Trip” Pulled

Jacquees Forced To Remove "Trip" Remix

Source: Z1079 Summer Jam 2017/ @stretch_34

Ella Mai is having a damn good year, her smash single “Boo’d” did superior numbers setting things up perfectly for her debut album and upcoming tour. BUT, now there is a bit of drama revolving a remixed version of her song “Trip” by Cash Money’s R&B version of Lil’Wayne *coughs* Jacquees that has Twitter buzzing.

The crooner added his own spin to the remorseful track, and it really caught on with fans and was gaining attention. That wasn’t flying with Ella Mai’s label, allegedly, and they forced him to take down his version of the record from all formats and understandably so. The song is Mai’s lead single, and they want to make sure their artist is getting the traction she deserves for her record.

Twitter wasn’t feeling the unfortunate move and let their frustration be known through their smartphones. The fallout over the cover even had T-Pain chiming in on the situation. There are some who are defending Ella Mai and her label’s actions pointing out that the singer took his “Que mix” a bit too far when he made a video to go along with the song and allegedly tried to make some money, he, of course, denies that.

Whatever the case this really shouldn’t be that hard of a situation to fix, can’t the two singers get it together and make an official remix? The fans clearly want it, until that happens you can get a few laughs at the reactions to this R&B kerfuffle below.
