Tekashi’s Former Manager Shotti Denies Stealing $2.2M, Claims Rapper’s Security ‘Money Ran Out’

Tekashis Former Manager Shotti Denies Stealing 2.2M Claims Rappers Security Money Ran Out

Kifano “Shotti” Jordan made an appearance on Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast and spoke about his relationship with the polarizing rapper almost two years after he cooperated with authorities and testified against the Nine Trey Bloods gang.

Shotti addressed the allegations that he stole millions of dollars from Tekashi.

“There are people that handle money, and you know this,” he explained. “He had his business manager, I had my accountant, and my girl from booking; they all handled the funds. The point is, I’m a millionaire and he was mad. He’s not the only artist I worked with. I came in jail a millionaire, I’m going to go home a millionaire, probably with more money I came in with. It’s just that simple. There was never any need for me to steal anything from him. If I took money, I would’ve said ‘yeah, I took the money.”

Shotti was also asked if he would ever forgive 6ix9ine. “He’s forgiven,” he said at the 13:45 mark. “He’s got to forgive himself at the end of the day. He know he don’t like how he’s living, man. He don’t like that. He doesn’t like hiding, and he’s hiding. He don’t got no money to pay security. That money ran out, man. It’s over for him. That’s just that.”

Before his arrest on racketeering and firearm charges in November 2018, Tekashi 6ix9ine infamously appeared on The Breakfast Club and claimed that he was offered $2.5 million for a tour but was only given $300,000 and his former manager pocketed the rest.

Tekashi dodged a nearly 50-year sentence after testifying against his other co-defendants, including Shotti who was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Crew Facing Additional Drug Trafficking Charges

News recently broke that Tekashi 6ix9ine’s crew was plotting to “feed” him, and even more information has surfaced regarding his crew. Federal prosecutors have hit members from the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods with drug trafficking charges.

As per a report from The Blast, the U.S. Attorney filed extra charges against Jamel “Murda Mel” Jones, for narcotic charges, and additionally possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Supposedly, Jones, who was a key member from 6ix9ine’s group, trafficked a lot of heroin, fentanyl and MDMA.

Notwithstanding drug trafficking charges, Jones was associated with a discussion between Kifano Jordan (Tekashi’s previous manager) and others. In the transcript gotten by TMZ, the gathering was hoping to hurt the Brooklyn rapper.

“[Tekashi] is trying to dry snitch at the same, home,” Jones says. “But he keep saying, fuck Treyway, fuck that nigga, Treyway. Ain’t no nigga, Treway. Fuck Treway.”

Fortunately for 6ix9ine, he isn’t facing any drug trafficking charges. The Dummy Boy rapper is currently facing up to 32 years to life in jail after being indicted for guns charges and racketeering on Nov. 18. Tekashi 6ix9ine has plead not guilty to these charges.

The trial is set to start on Sept. 4, 2019.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Facing Life in Prison Over Racketeering, Gun Charges

Tekashi 6ix9ine and his former associates are accused of running a gang.

Daniel Hernandez, better known as 6ix9ine, was arrested in New York City on Federal charges on November 18, TMZ reports and Pitchfork has confirmed with the U.S. Lawyer’s office. 6ix9ine’s ex-manager Shottie, born Kifano Jordan, and their affiliates, Faheem Walter aka Crippy, Jensel Butler or Ish, Jamel Jones, otherwise known as Mel Murda, and Fuguan Lovick aka Fu Banga were also arrested. They all face racketeering and guns charges. 6ix9ine said a week ago that he got rid of his entire team and canceled his tour.

As indicated by the eight-count indictment, seen by Pitchfork, Hernandez and alternate respondents “took an interest in the task and administration” of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The indictment blames the alleged gang members for murder, burglary, ambush, drug dealing, and that’s just the beginning. Two of the charges Hernandez faces have a greatest punishment of life in prison. Pitchfork has emailed a delegate for 6ix9ine for input.

“As alleged in the indictment, this gang, which included platinum-selling rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine, wreaked havoc on New York City, engaging in brazen acts of violence,” U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said in a statement. “Showing reckless indifference to others’ safety, members of the gang were allegedly involved in robberies and shootings, including a shooting inside the crowded Barclay’s Center, and a shooting in which an innocent bystander was hit.”

The gangbangers got charged on distributed drugs that included heroin, fentanyl, furanyl fentanyl, MDMA, dibutylone and marijuana all around Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx, according to prosecutors.

Many of 6ix9ine’s songs like his Billboard song “Gummo” include his claims about shooting people and other forms of violence. The artist is now in federal custody and is expected to be arraigned this Monday evening.
