T.I.’s Trap Museum Hosted the ‘Lil Trap House’ at the BET Experience Featuring a Special Nipsey Hussle Tribute

This year’s BET Awards Show was capped by a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle featuring YG, DJ Khaled, Marsha Ambrosius and more. The memories of the Victory Lap legend were also at the BET Experience with the Lil Trap House pop up, which included a special tribute to Hussle and was stationed at the LA Convention Center.

The pop-up was a collaboration between T.I.’s Trap Music Museum and BET that allowed for two days of viewing, attracting thousands of visitors. The Nipsey Hussle tribute is the initial phase of a new exhibit to honor the Crenshaw superstar.

The Lil Trap House pop up was visited by Karen Civil who donated items to the Nipsey Hussle/YG  “West Coast” exhibit.

“Our exhibit attracted thousands of people!!  They loved our creative and enjoyed our Live Life headphones experience,” states Krystal Garner General Manager Trap Music Museum.  “We are excited for the rest of ‘Lil Tiny House’ tour.”

Additional love in the Lil Trap House Pop Up was shown to Pusha T with the Interactive Barcode, The infamous Grandma’s Living Room, the remake of Future’s Dirty Sprite 2 cover in 3D, Gucci Mane‘s Lil Trap Kitchen, Young Thug’s “Snake” Exhibit and Migos city “The Nawf” – a scaled down model of their neighborhood.

Kodak Black’s Artwork Removed From T.I.’s Trap Museum

T.I. wasn’t finished or done with Kodak Black after they exchanged words on Instagram over the weekend in result of the Pompano Beach rapper’s tasteless comments about Lauren London.

On Monday evening the “Roll in Peace” rapper’s art installation inside of Tip’s Trap Museum in Atlanta was removed, presumably over last weekend’s controversy.

After Black seemingly shot his shot with London, less than a week after Nipsey Hussle was gunned down, the veteran rapper called him out. “Hey, Kodak Black: You outta pocket, n***a. Fix that shit—quickly, expeditiously,” Tip said in an Instagram video, accompanied by the caption: “Getcho Muuufuckin Self Together Young Nigga!!!! This ain’t no Muuufuckin GAME!!!!”

Black eventually kinda apologized claiming people misunderstood what he was trying to say and only focused on the negative. Since his insensitive remarks he has been called out by several members of the Hip Hop community, Power 106 in Los Angeles no longer welcomes his music, and now he’s no longer apart of the Trap museum.

T.I. Announces Trap Museum in Celebration of His ‘Trap Muzik’ Album

Over the weekend, T.I. announced that he will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of his Trap Muzik album curating a trap museum highlighting some of the contributors who brought the term to life. It will have classical musical scriptures, paintings, sculptures, images from Romans and many more. There will be throwback footage of well-known trappers and artists like 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Shawty Lo and many more.  The King himself has been known as the dopeboy of Atlanta with his tunes. “This for US!!! All US!!!” he started. “All contributors to the culture of Trap Muzik!!! No matter who you are or how you’ve contributed…Consider this just as much yours as it is anybody.
