The LOX, Dipset and State Property Announce “The Rap Superheroes Tour”

Rap Superheroes Tour

The Rap Superheroes Tour featuring your favorite rappers favorite rappers.

After the rap groups, The LOX and The Diplomats collaborated on probably the best Verzuz battle thus far, the two legendary New York rap groups agreed to do a small joint city tour.

That’s right, they’re bringing that same energy we saw live on the road. They’re calling it “The Rap Superheroes Tour”, which will also feature the Hip-Hop group State Property.

The tour kicks off September 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, before hitting cities such as Houston, Chicago, St. Louis, before concluding on October 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Even though we saw an intense battle between Dipset and The LOX, Styles P ensured that there is no beef, it’s just all for the love of Hip-Hop.

“We are two groups from the heart of New York, we love the streets.” said Styles P. “We said we gon’ make this a show for y’all, we respect young rappers, old rappers, the whole sh*t. We just wanna show y’all the competitiveness of New York.”

Well fans will all remember the last time Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch shared the stage with Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey, now adding Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedi Peedi, Young Gunz and Omillo Sparks will make it even more epic.

Check out “The Rap Superheroes Tour” schedule:

September 16 ― Atlanta, Georgia (Gas South District)
September 17 ― Orlando, Florida (Addition Financial Arena)
September 21 ― Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Baton Rouge River Center)
September 23 ― Austin, Texas (HEB Center)
September 25 ― Houston, Texas (NRG Arena)
September 30 ― Chicago, Illinois (Credit Union 1 Arena)
October 1 ― Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Miller High Life Theater)

This is a win for Hip-Hop. Which city will you be checking in from?

ICYMI: Erykah Badu Announces Multiple 2021 Tour Dates

erykah badu

Erykah Badu is hitting the road, multiple tour dates announced.

Erykah announced that she is going on tour and released a list of limited tour dates on Monday.

The neo-soul queen will kick off her tour on October 18, in Denver. She also plans to stop in New York City, Austin, Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Louisville.

Badu’s tour dates likely come as a relief to her fans after she confessed during an interview with the New York Times that she does not fancy touring.

“I didn’t miss it,” she said in reference to live shows. “I’ve always wanted to perform from my bed at home. I’m the laziest artist probably in Dallas. I never wanted to do the packing and going through the car and luggage and the hotel and, ‘What’s the password? What’s the internet?’ You get tired after years and years of doing it, you know?”

This news follows the recent announcement of Badu joining musical artist H.E.R. for H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival which takes place September 18, and 19, in Concord, California. Tickets for her solo shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 23.

With all our favorite musicians back on the road, which artist are you excited to see take the stage?

I thought it over for the past week and I’ve decided to push back my tour. This year has been one of the greatest of my life; Marriage, new baby, first album etc. But with it being so eventful it has also been very strenuous having to divide my time and energy between family and work. When Kensli was born, I went on tour 2 weeks later and missed some of the most important milestones in her life, but more importantly I was absent when her mother needed me the most. At this point as a husband and father of two I realize that I can’t make that mistake again. I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli. I apologize because I know how many people were counting on seeing me soon, but I hope you’ll understand and forgive me in time. Tour kicks off Jan. 15th and you can still get tix or your refund if you are unavailable at chanceraps.com & a few of the shows are still being rescheduled as well so stay tuned. I love you guys AND LITERALLY CANT WAIT FOR U TO WITNESS THIS SHOW 🙏🏾🙏🏾 SIDENOTE: 9/28 CHICAGO AT UNITED CENTER IS STILL ON AS WELL AS “LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL FEST” “IHEART MUSIC FEST” & “MIAMI BEACH POP FEST”! ❤

Thankfully this delay has been carefully thought over by Chance and the tour’s producer Live Nation Entertainment who publicly supported his decision. “We congratulate Chance on the birth of his daughter and support him while he takes time to be with his family,” as per their press release.

The 2020 tour has yet to be announced but consumers who purchased tickets will be able attend their rescheduled dates or receive a full refund.
