Kevin Hart Steals The Show At The ‘Jumanji’ Family Thanksgiving [Video]

Jumanji The Next Level

The holidays are in full swing and Jumanji: The Next Level is poised to be the film of the season. All of the cast got together to celebrate over dinner and they did not disappoint.

As spotted on Comic Book, the four stars of the sequel broke bread together for Thanksgiving. As expected the meet up was lighthearted in nature with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan celebrating the project’s release. Unfortunately, Kevin Hart didn’t get the group text but decided to crash the gathering. What ensues is best described as awkward hilarity.

In the almost three-minute clip, the Philadelphia comedian isn’t falling for the old “it must have been stuck in my outbox” jig and puts his peers on notice. Upon further inspection, the dinner was very thoughtfully planned to exclude him on purpose and even have Nick Jonas in the house via a cardboard cutout. This infuriates Kev and sends him into a mini rage as he destroys some of the food and takes a shot of the Jonas replica.

YBN Cordae Gave Hip-Hop Fans A Reason To Be Thankful In 2019 & This Video Does Too

YBN Cordae has made a strong impression since he first came on the scene in the Spring of 2018. The 22-year-old MC’s ability to straddle the line between Trap and traditional Hip-Hop has made him one to watch for fans across the Rap landscape. Cordae Dunston’s highly-lauded debut, The Lost Boy, was released in late July, and the rapper/singer has continued to drop singles and videos to support the effort since it dropped. “Thanksgiving” is the latest visual off his first solo album, and with only a couple days until the holiday, it’s the perfect time to drop this vid’. The beat by CoopTheTruth and Kid Culture is powered by chopped-up piano and dense hi-hats. Over the laid back production, Cordae kicks lyrics that address developing relationships by conveying how bringing a new partner home for the holidays can be a risky proposition. Pusha-T & YBN Cordae Endured Real-Life Nightmares To Reach Rap Dreams (Video) The footage here enacts much of what is being said in the three verses. From grandma cooking the annual feast to the family gathered in a den, to a young couple in a pick-up truck on their way to Thanksgiving dinner. The woman is meeting the man’s family for the first time. The plot echoes the songwriting. As dope as the verses are, it’s the infectious hook that makes this song so catchy. Big Play Cordae sings, Mac and cheese up in the oven, grandma finished cooking / Thanksgiving ‘round the corner, need banana pudding / Brought you home to mama, even though you said I shouldn’t / Might not make it to Christmas, but I’m hoping and I’m pushing / For a better day / A good day in the making, but you never stay / I could say that you faking on the real / Why you faking on the real?” YBN Cordae’s Powerful Video Shows How The World Can Treat You When You’re Broke Several songs from The Lost Boy are presently included on the official Ambrosia For Heads playlist.

Ariana Grande Honors Mac Miller on Thanksgiving

Mac Miller’s untimely death in September took the entire Hip Hop community by surprise. Family, friends, and fans took his passing pretty hard, especially Ariana Grande who dated the emcee for two years before they split in May.

Last year she gave us a glimpse of what her Thanksgiving with him was like last year. The “Thank U, Next” singer posted a Facebook memory from Nov. 22, 2017 on her Instagram story. “You’re v missed,” she wrote.

Grande reference Miller in her latest single where she addressed all her public, high-profile relationships. “Wish I could say, ‘Thank You’ to Malcom/’Cause he was an angel,” she sings in the No. 1 song.

“I Adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will,” she wrote after his passing. “I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. You were my dearest friend. For so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. I hope you’re okay now.”

Rita Ora probably just wants to get her plate of good home cooking and go home after botching a performance at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade event. Folks on Twitter are roasting the singer for getting caught lip-synching and being offbeat like a prime hunk of bird.

Ora’s name began trending early Thanksgiving afternoon (Nov. 22) after she was seen during the live performance singing but not quite on time with the track. Despite the best efforts of the camera crew to conceal the gaffe, the quick eyes on Twitter weren’t quite ready to let Ora live in peace.
