T Pain Collaborators

T-Pain reveals his collaborators list with Tech N9ne, Erica Banks, Yung Bleu, Jimmie Allen, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

Ever since T-Pain found his DM’s the Nappy Boy crooner has been in high demand.

On Tuesday, T-Pain took to Twitter and shared his long list of collaborators that he agreed to work with. T-Pain explained in several tweets some of the pressure he’s under, balancing a full work load and staying creative. Adding, that his own project Precious Stones has been pushed back multiple times.

“I wanna start this thread off by saying I’m definitely not complaining about this but I don’t think we know what kind of pressure we put on others. This isn’t for the fans,” T-Pain shared in the first post, which included his list of features.

T-Pain added that his collaborators list is confirmed. He will complete all the features as he has accepted the job.

“I literally can’t keep up with the ppl that aren’t on this list that hit me everyday to add work to my crazy work load.”

“So! This is the list of features I actually HAVENT done yet that I’ve gotten since the whole “situation” a while back and I’ve promised to deliver. This is just features that I actually WANT to do. I’ve talked to these ppl personally and accepted the job.”

The “Bartender” rapper turnt singer shared the list was in order of request. It looks like we’ll be getting an Erica Banks Nappy Boy collab soon.

“If you ask me for a feature at this point, just know that this list is in the order that the requests were received so there’s no way to get to the top of the list.”

Which T-Pain collaboration are you ready to hear first?

T-Pain Reveals He Was Depressed For Four Years After Usher Told Him He ‘F*cked Up Music’

T-Pain Reveals He Was Depressed For Four Years After Usher Told Him He 'F*cked Up Music'

T-Pain reveals that a surprise 2013 conversation with Usher on a plane led him down a four-year depression.

In a clip from Netflix’s This Is Pop, the “Buy You a Drank” singer explained that he was en route to the BET Awards and a flight attendant woke him up to say the “Burn” singer wanted to have a word with him.

Usher was my friend,” T-Pain said. “I really respect Usher. And he said, ‘I’m gonna tell you something, man. You kinda fucked up music.’”

The Tallahassee native thought he was joking at first until Usher added, “‘Yeah man you really fucked up music for real singers.’ I was like, ‘What did I do? I came out and I used Auto-Tune.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, you fucked it up.’ I’m like, ‘But I used it, I didn’t tell everybody else to start using it.’”

The conversation came years after JAY-Z publicly slammed autotune and called for the “death” of it on his Blueprint 3 single, “D.O.A.” But T-Pain says that “very moment that started a four-year depression for me.”

T-Pain Reveals Nicki Minaj Turned Down 2007 Collab Before She Blew Up

T Pain Reveals Nicki Minaj Turned Down 2007 Collab Before She Blew Up

Can you imagine what a T-Pain and Nicki Minaj collaboration would’ve sounded like in 2007?

T-Pain appeared on The 85 South Show, and revealed that he had plans to work with an up-and-coming artist who went by the name of Nicki Minaj.

However, he was heartbroken when the plans didn’t fall through. “She was like, ‘Hey, I’m an artist too and I’m working on my shit, so ya know, baby chill,” he recalled.

Although the “I’m Sprung” singer asked for a “quick little verse” Nicki reportedly told him “I’m working on my shit too!”

T-Pain admitted that he was disheartened by the rejection. “Maybe I was in love with Nicki Minaj,” he said.

The Queens-bred rapper caught wind of the interview and responded on Twitter. “I don’t remember this AT ALL but it DEF sound like smthn (sic) I would say,” she wrote. “Omg what was I thinking? He was already a really big artist. I was still underground. Chileeeeee I used to b buggin yo. I was under so much pressure to deliver.”

Nicki went on to give T-Pain his flowers. “I have nthn but love and respect for your talent,” she said before thanking him for clearing the vocals for “Go Hard” sample off her re-released mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty.

T-Pain Reveals ‘I’m ‘N Luv (Wit A Stripper)’ Started Because His ‘Homeboy Was Tryna Save Strippers’

T-Pain Reveals 'I'm 'N Luv (Wit A Stripper)' Started Because His 'Homeboy Was Tryna Save Strippers'

T-Pain shared a funny story about the origin of his breakthrough single, “I’m ‘N Luv (Wit A Stripper)” during an appearance on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast.

“My homeboy was tryna save strippers in the club,” he said. “The song was a joke. I was literally making fun of him.” He continued, “We was just in the studio fucking around and Big Boi saying it was dope and I said yep.”

I’m ‘N Luv is one of T-Pain’s well-known singles and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2006.

The Tallahassee singer became a trending topic after revealing that he had dozens of undiscovered DMs from his industry colleagues.

After finally responding, T-Pain linked up with Kehlani for “I Like Dat” and there’s no telling what else is in store.

T-Pain posted a video of him reuniting with Jamie Foxx and announced that he’s launching his own podcast.

“Too many conversations and interactions I was having with various people kept ending in the same way, with me saying, ‘Damn, we should have recorded that,’ so we decided to do just that and launch the Nappy Boy Radio podcast,” T-Pain told Deadline. “Partnering with PodcastOne, a company that is talent first, was a no-brainer for us.”

T-Pain Discovered Instagram’s Direct Message Hidden Folder In Hilarious Fashion

Premiere Of Columbia Pictures' "Bad Boys For Life" - Arrivals

T-Pain, the Call Of Duty master that he is, might not be the savviest person in the world when it comes to social media tools. The “Rappa Ternt Sanga” just discovered a hidden folder for direct messages on Instagram and shared his findings in a hilarious fashion.

By way of a TikTok video, Tallahasse Pain shows off the long list of celebrity direct message requests from folks in the same business as he is.

“I was today years old when I found out about the request folder on Instagram that’s full of celebs trying to reach me,” T-Pain’s caption read with a helium-tinged voiceover effect and the artist’s making an amused face.

Folks such as Fergie, YBN Nahmir, Viola Davis, Diplo, Keri Hilson, and even entities like Nickolodeon all attempted to reach T-Pain unbeknownst to him.

As T-Pain added in the captions, he assumed that any time someone sent him a DM that it would go to the main folder. However, if you’re not following people or they’re not following you, the messages will sometimes get grabbed by the request folder.

“I apologize to everybody on this list and the hundreds of others I couldn’t fit in this video,” T-Pain shared in the caption.

One can only imagine the massive amount of bags and potential collaborations that T-Pain missed out on over the past few years but hopefully, this gets the ball rolling creatively so he can mend some of those mistakenly broken bridges.  Also, T-Pain, hire a social media manager pronto!
