Of the many businesses affected by the spread of the novel coronavirus and rise in COVID-19 diagnoses, strip clubs are among the hardest hit considering the close nature of the business. A legendary Atlanta establishment is hoping to keep the cash flow coming for their dancers by way of building a virtual strip club experience.

Magic City, a long-running adult entertainment establishment in the Georgia metropolis, is currently working on Magic City Live according to a report from local outlet The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Under the new venture, fans can pay $20 monthly to have access to live dances and archived video shows according to Magic City’s branding director, Daryl Mapp. The aim is to have Magic City Live operable by this week and the site’s currently under construction.

Much like other webcam sites already in existence, Magic City Live subscribers will have the opportunity to offer cash tips to dancers and have so-called interactive lap dances. In essence, the website promises all of the benefits of Magic City with none of the contact. Users will also be able to chat with the dancers as well.

While Magic City Live is no doubt inspired by the coronavirus situation, this could also become a potential business model for all strip clubs going forward. And if one thing is true about Atlanta strip clubs is that folks come for the dancing talent and the food. Magic City says its kitchen is still open but of course, you have to take your food to go.

Pole Priorities: Strip Club Is Now Offering Drive Through Peep Shows

The Naughty But Nice Show

As the world continues to hunker down in an effort to avoid ‘Rona; some folks are making lemonade out of lemons. One business has taken an old school approach to getting their customers a thrill.

The Review Journal is reporting that one strip club in Las Vegas has pivoted to still provide their raunchy services even in the face of the Coronavirus. According to the article the jiggle joint is offering patrons drive through strip shows for those who do not want to take their chances by stepping inside the establishment.

Ryan Carlson, Director Of Operations for Little Darlings, detailed the initiative during an interview with the publication. “We’re going to offer drive-up window strip shows,” he explained. “Guests can drive up to the front door and we’re going to have dancers separate by the 6-foot separation rule and they can enjoy a totally nude show right from the seat of their car.”

But while this new offer sounds like it could be a best selling option Carlson feels that inside the club will continue to see all action. “As funny as it sounds, Little Darlings has been around for 30 years and we pretty much sell out almost every night of the week,” he revealed. “It probably won’t be any busier than normal because, as I said, we kind of reach capacity every night anyway.”

The drive through show will run you $100 dollars for a 10 minutes. If that isn’t enough you can watch a hand sanitizer wrestling matches if you really about that creep daddy life.

Strip Clubs Giving Away Free Masks, Sanitizer To Combat Coronavirus

The Naughty But Nice Show

A strip club in Florida and a second in Las Vegas are doing their due diligence to help combat the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, one lap dance at a time.

According to TMZ, Florida strip club, Déjà Vu Showgirls, and Las Vegas strip club, Little Darlings, are both helping to combat the spread of the virus in the best way they know how—club promotions. It’s reported that the world-famous Little Darlings in Las Vegas just announced a massive giveaway: 50,000 bottles of free hand sanitizer, one for each paying customer while supplies last; and across the country in Tampa, Déjà Vu Showgirls is giving away free face masks to the first 10,000 paying customers.

While most major retailers are reporting that basic supplies including hand sanitizer, face masks and Lysol are hard to keep in stock, the two clubs are lending a helping hand allowing you the ease of avoiding panic in stores.

Although the promotion seems far fetched and opportunistic, according to a representative fromDéjà Vu tells local publication Creative Loafing, the club ran out of supplies within just two days of the promotion.

“It might seem silly,” said Déjà Vu Showgirls Tampa general manager Mark Figueroa in a press release, “but we take the health of our guests very seriously. Being the busiest and most popular nightclub in Tampa, we have to ensure the show will go on.”

Little Darlings told local outlet the Sacramento Bee that the organization felt it was it’s duty to help safeguard employees and patrons who are visiting one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world.

“[A]n opportunity to help with the Coronavirus scare is extremely important to us,” LeAnna DaPoint, one of the club’s managers at Little Darlings, told the outlet. “Las Vegas is a tourist mecca, and we have to do everything possible to stay virus-free. It might seem silly, but we take the health of our guests very seriously. Being the most popular adult club in Las Vegas, we have to ensure the show will go on!”

Although the Center for Disease Control warns that face masks are useless in preventing the spread of the virus, it’s nice to see organizations pitching in to help where they can.

Atlanta Strip Clubs Staying Open Super Bowl Sunday

Future's 'Future City' Birthday Party

Atlanta strip clubs have banded together under a common goal. That would be staying open Super Bowl Sunday to rake in the dough.

Reports TMZ:

Here’s the deal — adult entertainment venues in the ATL aren’t allowed to be open on Sundays unless they also serve as restaurants. This is obviously bad news for food-free joints hoping to take advantage of thousands of extra folks in town for Super Bowl 53 … but they weren’t going to let the business opp pass without a fight.

So, several of the city’s popular strip clubs — including Blue Flame Lounge, The Cheetah and Magic City — banded together and went to City Council to ask for an exception for Super Bowl Sunday … and they got it! Somehow no one found out about the meeting and reported it.

Those in charge also agreed to let the clubs stay open an extra hour the entire week of the big game … so the lights won’t come on until 4 AM from January 28 through February 4.

What a time…

Word is spots like Magic City and Cheetah are flying in extra pole dancing.  talent

This means Drake gotta be in town, right?

Too $hort Gears Up for ‘The Pimp Tape’ Featuring Ty Dolla Sign, DJ Khaled and More

Too $hort has a new album on the way.

The Oakland, CA rapper recently hosted The Pimp Tape album listening party at Sapphire 39 Gentleman’s Club. Attendees dazzled in the nature of seductive entertainment, while Too $hort’s new album blasted through the speakers. The club’s ambiance complemented both the album’s sound and vibe.

The Empire rapper taps into his West Coast roots for a number of guest appearances on The Pimp Tape, such as Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy and E-40. Both G-Eazy and E-40 are Bay Area natives, similar to $hort. Other featured artists include T.I., 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled and more.

According to the “Blow The Whistle,” rapper California and Las Vegas are his least favorite places to go to strip clubs. He prefers to go to strip clubs in “Atlanta, Miami, and Texas.”

Due to the popularity and nature of the business, the South has always been renowned for its dance presence. Rappers have often corroborated the same notion.

Earlier this week, Too $hort performed his timeless hit “Blow The Whistle” at Tidal’s #Reform concert during Anderson .Paak’s set. The moment celebrated a young artist paying homage to an OG.

During his recent Breakfast Club interview, $hort explains the message behind putting out an album as a Hip-Hop veteran.

“I think (its) bigger than just putting out an album,” said the Bay Area native, “it’s (about) the OGs  (still) making music.”

The Cali rapper continues to bridge the gap between the young lil’s and the older OGs. The Tidal Reform cameo is a prime example of this as well.

Whether it’s strip club culture or enjoying the process of making music, Too $hort continues to contribute to the progression of the culture he loves. The Pimp Tape will be available on November 9.
