Azriel Clary No Longer Fears R. Kelly, Will Continue to Speak Out

Azriel Clary is one of many survivors of singer R.Kelly and his alleged sex cult. You may have seen Clary defending Kelly on social media or in an interview with Gayle King. Recently Clary and another woman associated with R. Kelly, Jocelyn Savage, seemed to have a physical altercation that led Clary to no longer be on the singer’s side. Since the altercation, Azriel has moved back in with her family and dropped surprise family photoshoot of the re-untied relatives to her social media.

“Surprise. Let the healing process begin. Love yall and thank y’all. I even thank everyone who follows me.. because you all believed in me when I could not believe for myself. #movingontobetterdays P.S – everyone will be posting there own fav photos so make sure y’all follow the family! #ontherunwithazriel,” she captioned the picture.

Since her separation from Kelly, Azriel Clary seems to have a little more to say than usual. Clary, who’s now 21, will be detailing her experience with the singer since she was 18 years old.

It has been said that in the past, Clary was scared to come forth with information because of her cover-ups for Kelly in the past. TMZ reports that Clary is no longer afraid of coming out against the singer because she wants control back of her life and has cut off all ties with Kelly and his team. Since her decision to come out, Clary has stated that she and her family have been receiving death threats and online harassment from Kelly’s supporters.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg tells TMZ that he is in no way surprised by Clary’s decision to turn on the singer. “It’s not news to me,” he states. “I’ve suspected it all along, but you can’t get in the way of love… Rob’s love for her.”

Since coming forward, Clary has been working on helping other women who have experienced similar situations, whether it was with Kelly or anyone else. Leaving the singer and coming forward was just her first step. Maybe one day in the future, Azriel could influence Jocelyn Savage to have a change of mind and come forward against the singer as well.

Judge Denies R.Kelly’s Request to Reveal The Name of Accusers

Looks like things haven’t been moving in R.Kelly’s favor lately. With all of the charges the singer is facing, more and more, his fate seems as though he won’t be getting released any time soon. Brooklyn Judge Ann Donnelly denied a solicitation from R. Kelly to uncover the identities of two alleged victims of the disgraced R&B star who are recorded as Jane Does in court papers.

Recently, Steven Greenberg, R. Kelly’s lawyer, composed a letter to the judge requesting the name of the informers to assist Kelly’s legal team in preparation for trial. “It is impossible to interview witnesses, to search for records, or to do anything without this information,” Greenberg states.

Prosecutors referenced an intimidating letter that the singer sent to Heather Williams following her lawsuit claiming that Kelly gave her herpes when they engaged in sexual relations back in 2017.

At the time, Heather was only 19 years old. In the letter Kelly wrote to Williams it states that if she, “really cares about her own reputation she should cease her participation and association with the organizers of this negative campaign.” The letter then goes on to say, “Counter actions are in the developmental stages and due to be released soon.” In that case, the judge is agreeing that keeping the identity of the informants are a priority.

Kelly’s legal team should figure out how to push ahead without the supposed exploited people’s names. Jane Doe #2 is alleging that she had sexual relations with the singer when she was only 16 years old. Jane Doe #3 claims that between 2003 and 2004 the Chicago singer locked her in a room without food for 3 days and sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious. “I don’t know how we’re supposed to put together a defense without the specifics of who these people are,” Kelly’s lawyer said.

So far the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer has been charged with racketeering, bribery, and exploitation and also has open criminal cases in the Chicago government court and in state court in Minneapolis.
