[WATCH] Kendrick Lamar Plays Soccer in Africa Following Album Release

After a five-year hiatus from dropping new music, Hip Hop’s millennial heir Kendrick Lamar celebrated the release of his latest critically acclaimed LP, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, by taking his football skills to Ghana and taking on the Jamestown Boys in a game of street soccer.

Crowds and cameras followed the Compton native as he shuffled in the streets of Ghana, after that taking pictures with his teammates and competitors known locally as the Jamestown Boys.

Snoop Dogg Says U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Should Get Paid More Than “Sorry Ass F*cking Men*

Snoop Dogg has become more than the living Hip-Hop icon that he is, and has emerged as a worthy cultural commentator as well. After the U.S. Women’s Soccer squad captured the World Cup in epic fashion, Uncle Snoop has some sharp words for the U.S. Men’s team.

Taking to Instagram, a relaxed Snoop got right to business and wasted little time in blasting the disparity in pay. Snoop notes that the women earn $90,000 per player in capturing getting to the semifinal round versus $500,000 each for the men. In all, according to reports, the women will get $260,000 each while the men’s team would go home with $1.1 million each.

“The sorry ass f*cking men from the U.S. soccer team, they ain’t ever won sh*t, ain’t gonna ever win sh*t, can’t get out the f*cking first round,” Snoop said in the video. Not that we’re soccer experts, but he’s right, you know.

Neymar Gets 3-Game Suspension After Socking Fan In The Stands

Neymar will face a three-game suspension from his Paris Saint-Germain F.C. club after he was caught on video punching a fan in the face. The 27-year-old soccer star’s squad just lost a game to Stade Rennais F.C. in the French Cup finals and was forced to walk through the stands when a fan approached Neymar asking for the smoke.

TMZ Sports reports:

The 27-year-old soccer superstar has been banned for 3 games after socking a fan in the face minutes after his team lost in the French Cup final last month, the French Football Federation announced.

Neymar’s Paris Saint-Germain club had just lost to Stade Rennes in a 6-5 penalty shootout — and the team was forced to walk through the crowd to collect their 2nd place medals.

During the walk, Neymar claims a fan lurched at him and began shouting various insults — so Neymar popped the guy in the face.

The fan claims he suffered a bloody nose and a split lip from the punch. Neymar later commented, “I was wrong but I don’t have cockroach blood.”

It isn’t known what the fan said, but Neymar isn’t completely apologetic as we can see.

Jinx God: Italian Soccer Team Forbids Players From Pictures With Drake [Photos]

Apparently the Drake curse is alive and well. So much so a soccer club has put a mandate in place so they can continue to flourish.

As spotted on HipHopDX A.S. Roma took the time out to jokingly protect themselves from floundering because of any potential future associations to the “In My Feelings” rapper. The caption read “All Roma players banned from taking photos with Drake until the end of the season”.

The tweet came right on the heels of a pretty clear curse jig. On Sunday, April 14 Drizzy flicked it up with Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa and right on schedule PSG lost 5-1 to LOSC Lille. Naturally Rap and football fans alike pointed to Drake as the cause on social media for the molly whopping.

This is not the first time the OVO streak of bad luck has hit the league. In April Aubrey stood next to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a photo and his Arsenal squad suffered a similar fate to rival Everton. Crystal Palace also took a loss to Machester City after Champagne Papi was seen with forward Wilfried Zaha.

Drake himself has acknowledged the running joke prior to Super Bowl LIII. He posed in a sweatshirt that featured all four NFL teams that were playing in the AFC and NFC championship games.

Real Madrid Agrees to Ten-Year $125 Million Dollar Sponsorship Deal With Adidas

Spanish soccer juggernaut  Real Madrid is set to sign off on a record ten-year, €1.1 billion (US$1.25 billion) renewal with German sportswear brand Adidas, according to Marca. According to Marca’s Carlos Carpio, Adidas has reportedly agreed to pay Real Madrid €110 million each year, which is more than twice the €52 million paid annually under their current deal. Additionally, Adidas could potentially pay Los Blancos up to €150 million per year because of “another variable part depending on merchandising.”

The agreement, which would run from 2020 until 2030 and represent the most expensive kit deal in soccer, would see Adidas pay more than double the annual €52 million it commits under its current contract with the La Liga club.

On to how this compares, Real rival Barcelona currently has a deal in place with Nike worth approximately $95 million a year, while the Premier League’s Manchester United is the second-highest-paid Adidas club at $97 million per year.

The new sponsorship deal will not only help fund club president Florentino Perez‘s plan for a €575 million renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The proposed plan is an extensive one that will see the outside of the stadium completely changed, a retractable roof added, and much more.

Meet “Golfcart Gail,” The Annoying White Woman Who Called 9-1-1 On A Supportive Black Soccer Dad

It looks like White folks have every intention of continuing to call 9-1-1 for no good reason, especially where Black people are concerned. Cue, “Golfcart Gail.”

Yet another White woman is going viral after she called the cops on a Black father at a children’s soccer game in Florida. Apparently, Golfcart Gail—a field marshal for the Ponte Vedra Palm Valley Athletic Association—chose to simply eject an overzealous parent earlier on in the game, but in this instance, she felt the need to call police. We wonder why?

Authorities state Gerald Jones stepped on to the field and “yelled” at his son at some point. But Jones insists he was instructing his kid to respect the ref’s call. According to Buzzfeed News, Jones said “They had a bad call with my son, and I told him, ‘Hey, the ref is right. The ref is always right. [The field marshal] thought I was yelling at the ref, so she came over. And I’m like, ‘Ma’am, I was talking to my son.’”

“The father, Gerald Jones, ended up having a discussion with law enforcement while the woman hovered — in her golf cart — nearby. He eventually left on his own, exasperated at the situation, after a police officer gave him the go-ahead to do so,” the site adds.

Amy “Ginger Galore” Williams, who shared the story on Facebook, said Golfcart Gail “would not let this go.” See how it went down in this intense clip.
