Snoh Aalegra Shuts Down Any Rumors of Dating Joe Budden

E97f8i2WYAM7FwY

Snoh Aalegra is making sure that you know she is not dating Joe Budden. Snoh and Joe were both on hand at the 40/40 Club Anniversary party and once Joe posted a picture speaking into her ear the rumor mill got to churning. Not letting the momentum get going, Snoh stomped all of that out.

“So I run in to Joe Budden and speak to him for 10 seconds at an event, A pic was taken, and now ppl say we are dating ??????? You guys are actually insane. Get a life!” Snoh tweeted.

The Instagram post from Joe Budden didn’t indicate any rumors of the two dating. He captioned, “And lemme tell you another thing about pianos…. (she’s not for play!!)” But, his admiration of her is frequent on his Joe Budden Podcast and with the force of his fan base, that may have been enough to fuel the rumors.

You can see the image here and Snoh’s response below.

Beyoncé Uses Houston Rappers in Ivy Park AD Campaign

Monaleo Tobe Nwigwe Houston Rappers for Ivy Park Rodeo

Beyoncé’s clothing line honoring Black cowboys features fellow Houston rappers.

The Ivy Park collection campaign features actor Glynn Turman (House of Lies, The Wire, A Different World) a real life cowboy, wearing a denim track suit while riding a horse. As well as Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, and Houston rapper’s Monaleo and Tobe Nwigwe.

It’s great to see Beyoncé use fellow Houston rappers Monaleo and Tobe Nwigwe in the ad campaign.

Tobe Nwigwe a southwest Alief, Houston native, built his ardent fan base since 2013.

Nwigwe’s popularity rose consistently by releasing his weekly freestyle series #gettwistedsundays. While including his wife Fat and family in all things visual. Outside of the dope music we have also gotten a constant representation of black love in rare form. We love to see it. Tobe took to social media to show enthusiasm of the collaboration.

Monaleo is another star emerging from Houston’s rap scene. Quickly earning national attention for her viral track, “Beating Down Yo Block.”

The track samples a popular 90’s Houston anthem, “Knocking Pictures Off Da Wall,” by Yungstar. Since it’s release in April it has commanded over 2.5 million views on YouTube. Even garnering a repost from the Queen MJB on her Ig page as she sung the lyrics to her followers.

Monaleo took to social media to show her appreciation of the opportunity.

In a tweet she stated, “My wildest dreams have come true . All those hours spent in the mirror dancing and singing like Beyoncé have paid off . Thank you to Bey and Ivy Park + Staff for having me “

Also making an appearance in the ad campaign is Roc Nation’s Snoh Aalegra. Check out the full video below.

Snoh Aalegra Sidesteps Sade Comparisons: “Respect the legend, please”

ay

Snoh Aalegra is on quite a run. After releasing her new album, Temporary High in the Violet Skies, Aalegra has received tons of prayers online. In the latest run of praise one fan online compared Snoh to Sade.

“Snoh Aalegra is our Sade,” @SlickyWilliams wrote, sending Twitter into an uproar.

After the user was bombarded with criticism, Snoh herself stepped in with a message.

“There’s only one Queen Sade Adu. There will never be another one,” Aalegra wrote. This comparison I just saw is so unnecessary. It’s not even a debate. Respect the legend, please … Sade is every generations Sade.”

And that’s that on that. You can see her statement below and check out Snoh’s album if you have yet to do so.

Snoh Aalegra Releases New Album ‘Temporary Highs In The Violent Skies’

Snoh Aalegra Releases New Album 'Temporary Highs In The Violent Skies'

Snoh Aalegra stole hearts with her Ugh, Those Feelings Again album. Back for more, the singer has released her third album, Temporary Highs in The Violet Skies.

The new album is led by the latest single “Lost You,” while the entire project has features from Tyler, The Creator, and James Fauntleroy.

Speaking of the “Lost You” single, Snoh revealed the magic of the song.

“I was in the studio with No I.D. finishing up the album, and he just played these drums of ‘Lost You. I instantly fell in love with them. I just knew where I wanted to go with it straight away. It evoked this melancholy in me, and the song paints all the emotions you go through. You’re in one of those relationships you know you’re not supposed to be in, but you keep ending up together with this person over and over until it gets really toxic.”

You can hear the full album below.
