Travis Scott Spotted on Golf Course with Michael Jordan and Mark Wahlberg

FE MAWsXoAY51zk

Travis Scott attempted to escape the Astroworld controversy this week by spending some time on the golf course. Unfortunately for him, the paparazzi found him with his famous friends.

TMZ spotted Scott alongside Michael Jordan, Mark Wahlberg, Said Taghmaoui, Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble in Palms Springs. The golf course was attached to a gated community.

The Cactus Jack line of Nikes, which often pairs Scott and MJ, is on hold. Sneaker collectors across the country who were hoping to secure Travis Scott’s Nike Air Max 1 will have to wait as the brand has decided to postpone the shoe launch.

“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” the message reads on the SNKRS app.

Yesterday, 9-year-old Ezra Blount became the latest casualty of the Astroworld Festival crowd surge. Blount was in a medically induced coma after the festival on Nov. 5. He died on Sunday, the USA Today reports. Blount had brain, liver, and kidney trauma.

“I am saddened to learn of Ezra’s death this evening,” Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner wrote. “Our city tonight prays for his mom, dad, grandparents, other family members and classmates at this time. They will need all of our support in the months and years to come. May God give them strength.”

Ezra’s father, Treston Blount, arrived “from out of town” to attend the concert and spend time with his son, Bernon Blount, Ezra’s grandmother confirmed.

“They were expecting to come and have a good time with each other, bond as father and son, and it turned into a tragic event because of the negligence of others,” Bernon Blount told the AP.

HHW Gaming: Basketball & Video Games Collide With ANTA x HyperX’s Gordon Hayward Limited-Edition Bundle

ANTA x HyperX Team Up For Gordon Hayward Limited-Edition Sneaker

Source: Bernard Smalls / ANTA x HyperX

Athletic wear and gaming have gone hand in hand as of late, so this latest collaboration between ANTA and HyperX makes all the sense in the world.

The two companies have one thing in common, they both work with Boston Celtic forward Gordon Hayward, so the decision to work together on this limited-edition box was a no-brainer. It brings together the two things that Hayward love’s to do, and that is playing basketball and gaming.

Inside the box is a limited-edition pair of Hayward’s signature basketball sneakers from ANTA, the GH2 “HyperX” and HyperX Cloud Alpha gaming headset. The sneakers feature some unique gaming-inspired details that help them easily stand out from other shoe silhouettes. The GH2 are draped in HyperX’s black and red colorways and have a unique printing process that showcases black-red gradient effects.

The inspiration behind the design is pulled straight from the circuit board that you can find inside HyperX’s products like headsets, keyboards, mice, and the HyperX logo, which can be found on the shoe’s heel pictured above.

Wearers can see the word “GAMER” on the lacing system, and it showcases the partnership between HyperX x ANTA.

Speaking about the limited-edition collaboration Dustin Illingworth, head of influencers and esports at HyperX, added:

“We are thrilled to be working with ANTA on this limited-edition HyperX x ANTA Gordon Hayward box. HyperX joins forces with ANTA to showcase Hayward’s passion for basketball and esports with a collection that reflects his love for the game, on and off the court, and captures the HyperX core belief – WE’RE ALL GAMERS.”

As far as getting your hands on the bundle, you might be out of luck in that department. Only a few were made and given away in a contest. If you come across one, you might have to pay a grip, BUT you can purchase the sneakers directly from China through ANTA’s website for only $160.

We look forward to more collaborations between the companies and hope they continue to look this good.

Hypebeast Alert: Dior X Air Jordan 1 Low Sneakers Will Make A Spring Debut [Photos]

Air Jordan I High OG Dior

Source: Jordan Brand / Jordan Brand

The reveal of the Dior X Air Jordan 1 High sneakers already had the hypebeasts salivating and ready to spend their hard-earned coins on the $2,000 sneakers. A new low version of the sneaker was recently announced and it looks like the collaboration will hit shelves this spring.

The same metallic grey, black and white design present on the high is rendered the same with the low, presenting even more style options for the fashionably fresh. As sneakers go, we have to admit that this collaboration is as clean as they come, not too gaudy but still weighted by a sense of refinement.

Around two weeks ago, Jordan Brand and Dior unveiled a capsule collection complete with outdoor apparel including shorts, t-shirts, and jackets to go along with the footwear. For the campaign, Jordan Brand collaborator Travis Scott modeled the new fits and sneakers with the clothing presenting more variety in color schemes but still remaining minimalistic.

The Dior X Air Jordan 1 Low will be available at select Dior stores this April and at various pop-up events around the world.

#sneakerheadrussia #illgramers #streetkillers #vscodaily #kicks #followback #like4like #photoftheday #hypebeast #sneakerporn #sneakerhead #streetfashion #snobshots #highsnobiety #hskicks #sneakeraddict #streetphotography #hypefeet #streetcollectors #kicksonfire #sneakerfiles #dior #airjordan1 #jumpman #airdior

Kyle Kuzma Re-Ups On Exclusive Partnership Deal With Online Sneaker Marketplace GOAT

GOAT & Los Angeles Lakers Star Kyle Kuzma Renew Partnership Deal

Source: Matteo Marchi / Getty

Back in October 2018, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma inked an exclusive partnership deal with online sneaker marketplace, GOAT. Almost 2 years later, he is re-upping on that partnership.

We back. @goat boyz 🐐

A post shared by Kyle Kuzma (@kuz) on

Kyle Kuza already has a 5-year endorsement deal with Puma, reportedly worth over $20 million, to rock their footwear on the court, but that won’t stop him from showcasing exclusive drip walking the NBA’s version of the runway, the arena tunnel. As part of his renewed deal with GOAT, he not only will rock rare kicks provided by the online sneaker retailer but also apparel and accessories from emerging, contemporary, and luxury brands that are sold on the site as well.

GOAT’s partnership with Kuzma isn’t the company’s only NBA related agreement. Back in November, last year, the company announced it secured a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. As part of the exclusive partnership with the NBA franchise, GOAT provided signage, content, and much more for both the home and visiting teams. Of course, the company will still focus on the player’s drip (good or bad) as they hit the arrival tunnel.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the  deal with the Nets, GOAT’s Chief Business Officer, Sen Sugano explained:

“We recently expanded beyond sneakers to offer apparel and accessories from the world’s leading contemporary and luxury brands. Moving beyond sneakers, we’re now the global platform for style, and our ultimate goal is to help individuals discover products that embrace who they are. We’re excited about the opportunity to partner with the Nets to showcase each player’s unique style.”

We fully expect more deals between GOAT and other athletes and NBA teams in the future.

eBay Kills Fees For Sneaker Sales, Announces Collab With Stadium Goods

Jordan Fearless Ones Collection

Source: Jordan Brand / Jordan Brand

The resale game is about to get a jolt of much needed energy. One of the biggest platforms is letting young entrepreneurs live like never before.

Hype Beast is reporting that eBay is now waiving fees for sneaker sales. The announcement is an effort to further empower the culture’s booming business which sits currently at roughly 1.5 million dollars worth of boxes available on the site. eBay will allow pairs sold over $100 USD in North America go minus the selling fees which serve as the commission for the e-commerce corporation. Proprietors will have to identify the feet pieces as “Adult Athletics Shoes” in order to bypass the jig.

“For our community of die-hard sneakerheads, eliminating selling fees allows them to turn their kicks into more cash to fund future purchases, and results in a more robust sneaker inventory for shoppers everywhere,” stated Jeff Chan, Head of Men’s Footwear and Apparel.

In addition to the new initiative eBay also announced that December will be the month of drops which will coincide with a collaboration with brick and mortar retailer Stadium Goods. Each week they will drop a different YEEZY BOOST 700 model below retail price via their official Instagram page.

The programming will also allow enthusiasts to purchase some of the most popular releases of 2019. They will also auction some of the most hyped sneakers of the year including the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 “Powder Blue” and the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. You can find more information here.

Reebok Connects With Bronze 56K For New Club C Revenge Skate Collection [Photos]

Reebox X Bronze 56K Club C Revenge Skate Collection

Source: Reebok / Reebok

Reebok is continuing its resurgence as both a sports performance and fashion force, connecting with various designers and brands for fresh updates to its long line of classic kicks. The latest from the Boston-based sports apparel giant is a collaboration with Queens, N.Y. skate brand Bronze 56K with updates to the Club C Revenge shoe.

The Club C is one of Reebok’s lasting classic styles and the flair that Bronze 56K brought to the sneaker proves that this will be another must-have in the company’s sprawling line of innovated staples.  The Club C Revenge, a well-known shoe in the skating world, and to work on another shoe was a no-brainer for Bronze 56K’s co-founder, Peter Sidlauskas.

“We were hyped to make another shoe with Reebok after the success of the first one,”  Sidlauskas said. “You don’t often see Reebok showcased in skateboarding, so it was nice to work with a brand that feels relatively unique to us.”

The Reebok X Bronze 56K FW19 Club C Revenge was co-created with top fashion designer Alex Dymond.  The two colorways offered are an all-white with red, grey, and cobalt blue accents, and an all-black version accented with purple, gold, green and white.

For the technical aspects of the sneaker, each shoe features a full-grain leather upper, a molded sockliner, and a high-abrasion-resistant rubber outsole, which makes sense for the skaters who will be pounding the pavement and their boards in these bad boys.

Both colorways are also touched up with the Bronze 56K logo on the sockliner, tongue, and across the shoelaces, with the word “Bronze” featured across the heel.

Even better, the shoes are available in unisex sizing starting at $120 a pair and will be available to the world this coming Friday, November 1 starting at 12:00PM EST.

Check out images of the Reebox X Bronze 56K Club C Revenge collection below. Visit Reebok’s homepage for more.

Kendrick Lamar Gives a First Look at His Upcoming Nike React Element 55 Collab

Kendrick Lamar killed it with all of his Nike collabs that dropped last year, and now the Compton rap king is returning to his Swoosh-shaped throne to deliver a special colorway for the React Element 55.

A teaser in every bit of the word — K. Dot pulled a “post-and-delete” earlier today with the black & white image seen above — this grainy preview of the Kendrick Lamar x Nike React Element 55 did a great job at building enough anticipation without spoiling the upcoming big reveal. While Kendrick’s photo makes it hard to make out most, if any, of the shoe’s design details, leaked images obtained by the general sneaker community give a clearer look at what to expect. Monochrome-hued patterns split down the middle to create a stark contrast between the medial and lateral sides of the shoe, and the overall inso for some reason brings to mind moon craters, especially with the speckled React sole unit. We’ll just wait to see the official story behind Kung Fu Kenny’s latest kicking collab with the Swoosh, which is guaranteed to be a limited drop when it arrives in the very near future.

We’ll keep you all posted on when the Kendrick Lamar x Nike React Element 55 is officially revealed, but info from trusted sneaker release projectors like PY_RATES™ (seen below) say it’ll drop as early as next week on November 5 for $150 USD.

DMX Pulled a “No-Show” at the PUMA x Def Jam 35th Anniversary Party in Brooklyn

It was supposed to be an unforgettable night in celebration of two heavyweight brands in music and fashion. However, things ended on an underwhelming note after rap vet DMX pulled out of his headlining appearance at the PUMA x Def Jam 35th Anniversary party in Brooklyn last week.

X was the honored guest at the super exclusive event — wristbands were messengered over to VIP attendees literally hours before it started — which also featured free pizza all night by way of Scarr’s Pizza, a free T-Shirt station courtesy of SNIPES and complimentary cocktails served up by the good people at Courvoisier. The Source was in the building to check out the special soiree, but even all the aforementioned amenities still weren’t enough to bring the Y.O.-bred Hip-Hop legend to the venue.

Here’s how Page Six is reporting DMX’s “no call, no show” moment:

“He was literally MIA. Fabolous and Jadakiss saved the day in the eleventh hour,” an insider told Page Six.

Another insider told us the rapper was a “no show for personal reasons.”

Fab and Kiss performed hits such as “Breathe” and “We Gonna Make It” for 750 guests including 2 Chainz, TJ Porter, Fetty Luciano, Slick Rick, Stretch & Bobbito, DJ Premier, Teyana Taylor and Def Jam’s CEO Paul Rosenberg.”

No word on what exactly happened to cause X to make a last-minute U-turn, or fail to leave his crib altogether, but we can only pray that everyone on his side is doing well. Prayers up!

Even though DMX didn’t pull up on PUMA and Def Jam for the 35th Anniversary party in Williamsburg, peep Jadakiss and Fabolous filling in below:
