Sidney Starr addressed the rumors surrounding her involvement with Darius McCrary.

The transgendered rapper and reality tv personality appeared on The Real to clear up rumors about her relationship with “Family Matters” star Darius McCrary after Sidney shared a video of the two that ignited dating rumors.

Additionally both shared images from a photoshoot, which sparked a bevy of questions online about their romantic status.

“As you guys can see, it really, really, really hit us. It hit us hard. I don’t think either I or Darius knew how hard that this was gonna hit,” Sidney declared. “Society was not ready for this at all.”

Sidney Starr revealed, “We are friends, he’s a very good friend of mine. That’s all ima say. He’s fun to hang out with… As you can see I’m a fun girl to hang out with…”

Sidney attempted to clear up the rumors before being pressed to clarify by hosts Jeane Mai and Toni Love. “Saying you’re dating someone and that person doesn’t date you, gets in murky waters,” added Love.

Several years ago, Starr took a photo with rapper Chingy that sparked a rumor that they had a secret relationship, which he denied. The damage was done and eventually Starr apologized for her actions that led to the unwarranted controversy that affected Chingy’s rap career.

“I’m only human. I come from a very scratchy past, but I will say this: I am all about positivity,” Starr insisted. “Ms. Starr is coming with nothing but love and positivity and I want everyone to know that just because I have a past with something like that does not mean I’m that same type of person now.”

Sour Grapes: Mariahlynn and Kimbella Hate On Yandy, Nya Lee and Sidney Still Beefing & More #LHHNY Moments

2018 MTV Video Music Awards - Arrivals

We got back to regular messy order on Love & Hip Hop last night. We learn that Juelz might not be on the only person heading to jail this season, Mariahlynn and Kimbella are Yandy haters and Nya Lee and Sidney Starr’s “beef” isn’t finished cooking.

The episode kicks off with Jonathan waiting to get some botox done. He is joined by LHHNY B-lister Mariahlynn and eventually Sidney Starr. Immediately things get messy when he asks Starr to revisit the fallout between herself and her former Rich Dollaz appointed “mentor” Nya Lee. She explains she felt Lee attacked her womanhood and after hearing her side understood where she was coming from but also believed Nya Lee meant no harm. Mariahlynn absorbed all the information, and it’s going to play a role later as to her opinion of Lee we will touch on that in a second.

Jonathan while getting his injections decides it will be a good idea if himself, Sidney, Mariahlynn, Kimbella, Nya Lee and Cyn all take a trip to a struggle wine vineyard upstate. Liquor and catty women don’t mix well on this show, so you already know things are going to get interesting, and they did not disappoint. Thing’s get messy from the moment Nya and Sidney see each other, but Sidney, for the most part, wanted to bury the hatchet between the two of them begging for Nya’s friendship back. Nya wasn’t trying to hear it at all and believes Starr isn’t being sincere and just wants to use her for her “industry connects.”

Riiiggghhhtt.

Nya disregards Sidney’s apology, and the group moves onto stomping grapes with their feet. After a few glasses of wine, Sidney sees this as another opportunity to ask for Nya Lee’s forgiveness stressing how much she misses their “friendship.”Cyn who had no real reason to even chime in asks Nya why did she “buck up” at Nya Lee last time wit Starr explaining she just did it to get the Lee to shut up. That comment doesn’t sit well with Nya and begins to bully Starr who really doesn’t want to fight but gets all up in her grill in typical Love & Hip Hop fashion, but no fists or wigs flew.

Moving on but still at this struggle get away the setting changes to a sitdown with Kimbella, Mariahlynn, Nya Lee and Jonathan. For some reason, the conversation shifts to Yandy and her adopting Infinity and immediately Jonathan is not here for it.  Mariahlynn being a foster child herself thinks Yandy is full of it and says they should take her with a “salt of grain.” YES, SHE SAID THAT!

Kimbella’s gets in on the Yandy hate train, but Jonathan refuses to join in on talking about his friend. His decision does not sit well with the Yandy haters club and Kimbella storms off first and then followed by Mariahlynn. While walking away, Nya Lee says “oooh child” setting Mariahlynn off. Already feeling some sort way about Lee from the story Sidney Starr told her earlier, Mariahlynn tries to get in Lee’s face before the Love & Hip Hop security separates the two. Lee is brought to tears because of Mariahlynn trying to “test her gangster” forcing her to show a side of herself she’s trying to move on from. Meanwhile, Mariahlynn is talking trash from the truck, these two are a mess.

Last but not least we head to Mississippi where Rich is present for Miracle’s hearing and is trying to make sure the mother of his daughter doesn’t end up in jail. We learned last week, Miracle shot her husband and she is looking at some serious jail time. Things are not looking good out the gate, Rich is livid that she took on a public defender, and on top of that they learn the judge is not comfortable offering a plea deal to Miracle at the moment. With no plea deal that means the case will now go to trial and even though Miracle’s lawyer feels her argument is strong, Rich still is worried that his daughter’s mother didn’t take this seriously enough.

Safaree Struggles With Seven-Figure Peen Mold Offer, Clowns Fiancée & Other #LHHNY Moments

Safaree Clowns Fiancée Erica Mena & More LHHNY Ridiculous Moments

Source: Matteo Marchi / Getty

Last weeks episode of Love and Hip Hop New York was heavy on the sadness, but we return to regular ratchet order this week. It’s a whole lot of woe is me, situations that could have been easily avoided and people who have no business being in a studio.

Safaree has a dilemma, and we’re not talking about Erica Mena…yet. His man parts put him on the radar of the well-known sex toy company Doc Johnson securing him a reported seven-figure deal. This deal should be a no brainer right? Well, doubts fill the Samuels’ head after speaking with Rich Dollaz and Papoose after they suggest people won’t take him seriously as an artist because of the dildo opportunity.

Newsflash we already don’t.

Anyway, the unnecessary drama drags on despite Safaree already signing the deal, so we see he just needs a storyline. But one hilarious moment did occur on the show while he was speaking with Rich when he clowned his fiancée’s singing revisiting the struggling track Mena recorded on a previous season of LHHNY.

L O L!

Moving on, Yandy is out here “unknowingly” illegally harboring a foster child for the sake of a storyline and ratings. Now in her defense, she was trying to do some good by helping the young lady named Infinity by taking her into her home because she didn’t want her to fall victim to the system. Only after a conversation with Jonathan and speaking with the child’s caseworker who warned her that harboring Infitiy could result in her own children being taken away did Yandy realize if she wants to help the girl shes gotta do it the right way.

She has a conversation with Infinity having to break the bad news to the girl that she can’t stay in her home anymore. She reassures the young woman that she is not abandoning her and she is going to figure things out. We already know that Yandy has adopted Infinity but buckle up we will have to endure the process on the show more than likely.

Sidney Starr is still dead set on insulting our eardrums with her pipe dreams of a rap career. For some reason, they think Nya Lee (who doesn’t have a much of career either) is the person who will help unlock Starr’s “hidden” potential.  Instead of just focusing on the music, Lee thinks they need fix Sidney’s image by changing her look, mainly how she dresses. If you have seen how Nya Lee parades around you should be rolling your eyes at this.  Anyway, after an intense debate between the two, Starr puts on one of the outfits and looks nice but long story short the bars are still T R A S H.

Last but not least Joe and Cyn’s problems are not getting any better. Instead of fixing the issues in his home himself, Joe enlists the help of Remy Ma. He wants his State of The Culture co-host to sit down with his child’s mother to discuss her battle with postpartum depression. Cyn was not feeling the move she admits during her confessional but goes along with it for the sake of her relationship with Joe.

The conversation between the two moms goes very well with Cyn willing to compromise and create a schedule so that she can have more time with Joe. The couple meets up later and with Santana looking very optimistic but that quickly goes out the window because Budden feels she did not really tackle the issue by coming up with a gameplan to address her depression. Cyn insists she can handle it on her own and does not want to resort to taking pills. So it looks like this long-winded drama between the two will continue.
