Producer and multi-instrumentalist Chong The Nomad has been perfecting a vivid, lo-fi musical style for years and now, the Seattle-based rising star has unveiled an incredibly dope original track. Using various sounds sampled from an airplane, Chong has partnered with Singapore Airlines for quite the unique concept.

Chong, born Alda Agustiano, has been crafting music for years, releasing the EP Love Memo last year along with a string of singles prior. Partnering with Singapore Airlines to announce its new nonstop flight route between Seattle and Singapore, Chong is seen in a new video employing samples via an Airbus A350 aircraft.

Our words do little justice for Chong The Nomad’s expert craftmanship, so check out the video below where the song, cleverly titled “Non-Stop,”  is built literally from scratch.

Lil Pwn Hits Hollywood to Help the Homeless

Taking up the “Feed the Homeless” challenge, Seattle hip-hop artist Lil Pwn put together classic American lunch bags with homemade ham and cheese sandwiches, juice boxes, fruit and twinkies. After they got all the food together, they hit skid row.

Since moving to his new home of Hollywood, California and seeing how bad the homeless problem was in downtown LA, Lil Pwn was compelled to help.

Lil Pwn is no stranger to poverty. Growing up in the neighborhood of Port Orchard in Seattle, an area with a dramatically high crime rate for the region and very low incomes, he can relate to the struggles of folks too poor to put food on the table.

Taking a few hours out of their day and a couple of dollars was all it took to make a difference in these peoples’ day. Showing support and kindness to the poor and disadvantaged is something we can all learn from, and it isn’t hard for everyday people to take up the Feed the Homeless challenge. All it takes is a couple of hours, and as Pwn showed in the video – only $42.00 to feed over a dozen people.

Lil PWN – “Hate So Hard” (Video)

Marcus Fontenot AKALil Pwn” is a Seattle-born hip-hop artist who in the last year alone has exploded into the rap game. Born dirt poor in the streets, Pwn knew that he wanted more than what he was given. Striving to overcome his lack of privilege he got involved with the wrong side of the law. Two felony arrests and nearly two years time served later, he’s decided to turn his life around and pursue a career in hip-hop.

Making a new home for himself in Hollywood, California, Lil Pwn has put on the wheels in terms of creative output. With sick new singles like “Hate so Hard” and “Stop It” with accompanying music videos, he’s demonstrated a diverse vocal and aesthetic range – demonstrating a talent for both chopping and singing.

Some of his biggest hits are of the more hardcore genre, with “Primal Mind”, “Wok the Wok” and “Fuck Shit” exemplifying these darker more visceral vibes. His range becomes obvious when you compare these tracks to his more sensual, emotional singles: “Godsend”, “Loser” and “Water’s (Sleepless in Seattle)”. These contradictory vibes coalesce in some of his more recent works such as “Rude Boy”, which sport a unique paradoxical vibe of edgy and soft.

Check out Lil Pwn’s Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube for the newest releases, content, vlogs, and updates.
