Offset Teams with Cardi B for "Jealousy," the First Single of His Forthcoming Album

New Year’s Eve may bring some fireworks to the same hotel in Miami Beach. With their relationship seemingly on the rocks, Cardi B and Offset will perform at Fontainebleau at separate parties.

Page Six notes Offset will take the stage at LIV Miami, while Cardi B will be at the Luxe poolside video. The two scheduled the bags before their relationship publicly hit the rocks.

Offset is currently the target of the Internet’s wrath over alleged mistreatment of Cardi B. But for his birthday, he appeared utterly unbothered. Hitting Instagram, Offset dropped off a collection of pictures dripped in Balenciaga. “Blessed to see another year,” he wrote.

According to TMZ, while Cardi B was at home ranging on IG Live, Offset was partying until 5 am at Coco Miami and Playa. Plenty of women were around for the night, including a sprinter who escorted ladies around the citiy. Joining Offset in the streets were Southside, Justin Combs, Ari Fletcher, and Miami HEAT players Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Thomas Bryant.

Quavo Sued for Assaulting a Limo Driver in Las Vegas

The last thing we expected this year was a breakup between Cardi B and Offset. The two were happily married and have done extensive interviews on their shared partnership, along with two beautiful children. 

However, all good things come to an end. Recently, Cardi B went on Instagram Live to reveal she was single. 

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” Cardi stated. “I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music, or find my unfollowings.” This is in regards to the internet picking up on Cardi and Offset unfollowing each other.

Just a few days later, Cardi B again went on Live. But this time, she has an emotional breakdown, calling out Offset for “doing her dirty.”

With all the back and forth going on, including Offset acting like nothing happened as his birthday rolled around, it seems Quavo has finally had enough. First, Offset took to his Twitter to let fans know to keep Takeoff’s name out their mouths.

“Fan wishing death on takeoff is crazy yal lil ass better chill,” he writes.

Two hours later, he follows it up stating: “Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother, and would like for his name to not be brought up.”

Just an hour and half later, Quavo took to his own Twitter to call out Offset.

“nephew ain’t wit the soap opera,” Quavo wrote. “LONG LIVE Rocket 🚀 🙏🏾 pray for y’all tho. ♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾”

Offset took the stage for a captivating performance introduced by host Terrence J. The energy peaked as the crowd sang along to Offset’s latest track “Worth It” from his recently released album, Set it Off. Notably, the GRAMMY Award-winning Leon Bridges showcased his signature 70s-inspired style, while model Chanel Iman rocked a chic black feathered skirt and a white button-up by Scablan Theodore.

In a seperate message she added, “I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”

Seperately, Offset would post a video from Scarface. Ultimately, we will have to wait for a proper update from them both.

‘I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST’

On Dec. 4, Cardi B wrote cryptic statements on her Instagram story stating:

“I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!” 

She also added:

“You know when you just outgrow relationships.”

Shortly after, observant fans noticed that the hip-hop couple no longer follow each other on Instagram. This ultimately led up to fans wondering if the “Hot Sh*t” rapper was alluding to her marriage with Offset, and if they are broken up. 

Past Breakup Rumors

Amidst the latest breakup rumors, it is essential to note that this is not the first time Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has faced turbulence. In the past, the former Migos member hinted at the “Bongos” rapper’s infidelity, while also facing numerous allegations of cheating himself.

Despite the ongoing controversies, the couple has shown resilience in the past. In 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset following infidelity rumors but later called off the divorce.

Offset Says Tyler, the Creator Inspired Him to Go Solo

Offset delves into his upcoming solo album, Set It Off, and reveals an unexpected source of inspiration for his solo journey in a recent interview with GQ.

During the conversation, Offset revealed he was inspired by Tyler, the Creator, to go solo.

“It was a year ago, at the Roc Nation Brunch, and I was telling [Tyler] my vision of being a standout artist and a solo artist and reinventing myself,” Offset said. “I was glorifying him, telling him, ‘I respect how you stay in character [for each album].’ He was like, ‘You should do it, too.

“N-–as ain’t going to f—k with it at first, but n—as never f—k with the good s—t first. They always sleep on it, and then you show them throughout the process.’”

Offset released his latest album, SET IT OFF, this past October. This 21-track project is a deeply personal endeavor for Offset, serving as a form of healing for himself and a heartfelt message to his devoted fans and supporters.

SET IT OFF boasts a star-studded guest list, including Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Mango Foo, Latto, Young Nudy, and Chlöe. The album promises diverse sounds and lyrical depth, reflecting Offset’s growth and experiences.

Offset dropped the official music video for “SAY MY GRACE” featuring Travis Scott to celebrate the album’s launch. The visually captivating video was filmed in Pattaya, Thailand, at The Sanctuary of Truth Museum, Nong Noch Botanical Gardens, and the Pattaya Floating Market earlier this year. Directed by Maya Table and executive produced by Offset and SheShe Pendleton, the video offers a cinematic and artistic visual experience.

Leading up to the album release, Offset treated fans to tracks like “JEALOUSY” featuring Cardi B and “FAN.” “JEALOUSY” quickly gained popularity on major hip-hop playlists across digital streaming platforms, amassing over 76 million combined global streams. The song’s accompanying video, inspired by the 2001 film Baby Boy, has garnered over 19 million views.
