It’s Love & Hip Hop Reunion time, so you know what that means?  The cast members reunite one more time rocking their most ridiculous gowns and suits to recap and reopen the wounds they endured during the season and fill us in on what’s happening in their lives since taping stopped.

The show opens up with the cast and crew wondering where Safaree is? We all know why he is feeling some sort of way about his fellow LHHNY castmates. But the show must go on, and here we go.

Kimbella has been on cloud nine all season long since her longtime boyfriend now husband Juelz Santana finally decided to put a ring on it only after losing teeth and being sentenced to jail. She wasted no time announcing that she and Santana are expecting another child trying her best to recreate Beyoncé’s major pregnancy announcement from 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. She failed epically by the way, and Yandy was not feeling it all, but congrats sis.

Speaking of Yandy, she finally got the apology she so deserved from Kimbella after they recapped the expecting mother hating on her former friend saying she only took Infinity in her home for clout. After watching the clip, Yandy was furious all over again and rightfully so and called out Kimbella.

The two went back and forth a bit, but finally, Kimbella got chippy for no reason but ultimately decided to put on her big girl panties and apologized for a second time. We shall see how long this truce will last though.

We didn’t see a lot of Sidney Starr down the stretch of the season, but she made sure her presence was felt this season. On her struggle quest to be a Transgendered Hip-Hop superstar she admits she did learn a lot from Rich Dollaz, Nya Lee. Mariahlynn and Jaquae. That remains to be seen, also except for Mariahlynn and Jonathan they were all hard on the newest cast member during her appearances. Hip-Hop veteran Remy Ma decided to give Starr some advice telling her to “tone down” her personality, but we know she isn’t the most ridiculous cast member on the show.

Speaking of Rich, some serious tea was spilled about his love life during part one of the reunion. Mariahlynn opens up to the world that she is madly in love with Dollaz and that she was pregnant by LHHNY OG and wants to have his children in the future. She wants Rich to recognize her unwavering love for him but instead he feels put on the spot and walks off the stage leaving poor Mariahlynn with egg on her face.

For some reason, Nya Lee who is trying very hard to make sure she gets a spot in the shows opening credits chimed in on the situation. Lee and Mariahlynn go at it with the “Once Upon a Time” finally getting up and walking off the stage cause she has had enough and is embarrassed. She confronts Rich backstage and begs him to tell the truth about their relationship. Rich finally speaks on the situation, but he neither confirms or denies what Mariahlynn revealed but does say they are “working things out.”

As with all Love and Hip Hop reunion shows there has to be some sort of extra spice, Safaree does indeed show up, but we won’t get to the full mess until part 2. Joe and Cyn had a lot to say about Samuels, but now they will get to say how they feel about him to his face. Rich also turns into an Olympic athlete and literally hops over furniture to get his hands on Safaree because of his relationship with his ex Erica Mena.

We cannot wait till next week, of course, Twitter had plenty to say about what went down. You can peep all of the reactions to the mess in the gallery below.

Sour Grapes: Mariahlynn and Kimbella Hate On Yandy, Nya Lee and Sidney Still Beefing & More #LHHNY Moments

2018 MTV Video Music Awards - Arrivals

Source: Matthew Eisman / Getty

We got back to regular messy order on Love & Hip Hop last night. We learn that Juelz might not be on the only person heading to jail this season, Mariahlynn and Kimbella are Yandy haters and Nya Lee and Sidney Starr’s “beef” isn’t finished cooking.

The episode kicks off with Jonathan waiting to get some botox done. He is joined by LHHNY B-lister Mariahlynn and eventually Sidney Starr. Immediately things get messy when he asks Starr to revisit the fallout between herself and her former Rich Dollaz appointed “mentor” Nya Lee. She explains she felt Lee attacked her womanhood and after hearing her side understood where she was coming from but also believed Nya Lee meant no harm. Mariahlynn absorbed all the information, and it’s going to play a role later as to her opinion of Lee we will touch on that in a second.

Jonathan while getting his injections decides it will be a good idea if himself, Sidney, Mariahlynn, Kimbella, Nya Lee and Cyn all take a trip to a struggle wine vineyard upstate. Liquor and catty women don’t mix well on this show, so you already know things are going to get interesting, and they did not disappoint. Thing’s get messy from the moment Nya and Sidney see each other, but Sidney, for the most part, wanted to bury the hatchet between the two of them begging for Nya’s friendship back. Nya wasn’t trying to hear it at all and believes Starr isn’t being sincere and just wants to use her for her “industry connects.”

Riiiggghhhtt.

Nya disregards Sidney’s apology, and the group moves onto stomping grapes with their feet. After a few glasses of wine, Sidney sees this as another opportunity to ask for Nya Lee’s forgiveness stressing how much she misses their “friendship.”Cyn who had no real reason to even chime in asks Nya why did she “buck up” at Nya Lee last time wit Starr explaining she just did it to get the Lee to shut up. That comment doesn’t sit well with Nya and begins to bully Starr who really doesn’t want to fight but gets all up in her grill in typical Love & Hip Hop fashion, but no fists or wigs flew.

Moving on but still at this struggle get away the setting changes to a sitdown with Kimbella, Mariahlynn, Nya Lee and Jonathan. For some reason, the conversation shifts to Yandy and her adopting Infinity and immediately Jonathan is not here for it.  Mariahlynn being a foster child herself thinks Yandy is full of it and says they should take her with a “salt of grain.” YES, SHE SAID THAT!

Kimbella’s gets in on the Yandy hate train, but Jonathan refuses to join in on talking about his friend. His decision does not sit well with the Yandy haters club and Kimbella storms off first and then followed by Mariahlynn. While walking away, Nya Lee says “oooh child” setting Mariahlynn off. Already feeling some sort way about Lee from the story Sidney Starr told her earlier, Mariahlynn tries to get in Lee’s face before the Love & Hip Hop security separates the two. Lee is brought to tears because of Mariahlynn trying to “test her gangster” forcing her to show a side of herself she’s trying to move on from. Meanwhile, Mariahlynn is talking trash from the truck, these two are a mess.

Last but not least we head to Mississippi where Rich is present for Miracle’s hearing and is trying to make sure the mother of his daughter doesn’t end up in jail. We learned last week, Miracle shot her husband and she is looking at some serious jail time. Things are not looking good out the gate, Rich is livid that she took on a public defender, and on top of that they learn the judge is not comfortable offering a plea deal to Miracle at the moment. With no plea deal that means the case will now go to trial and even though Miracle’s lawyer feels her argument is strong, Rich still is worried that his daughter’s mother didn’t take this seriously enough.

Safaree Struggles With Seven-Figure Peen Mold Offer, Clowns Fiancée & Other #LHHNY Moments

Safaree Clowns Fiancée Erica Mena & More LHHNY Ridiculous Moments

Source: Matteo Marchi / Getty

Last weeks episode of Love and Hip Hop New York was heavy on the sadness, but we return to regular ratchet order this week. It’s a whole lot of woe is me, situations that could have been easily avoided and people who have no business being in a studio.

Safaree has a dilemma, and we’re not talking about Erica Mena…yet. His man parts put him on the radar of the well-known sex toy company Doc Johnson securing him a reported seven-figure deal. This deal should be a no brainer right? Well, doubts fill the Samuels’ head after speaking with Rich Dollaz and Papoose after they suggest people won’t take him seriously as an artist because of the dildo opportunity.

Newsflash we already don’t.

Anyway, the unnecessary drama drags on despite Safaree already signing the deal, so we see he just needs a storyline. But one hilarious moment did occur on the show while he was speaking with Rich when he clowned his fiancée’s singing revisiting the struggling track Mena recorded on a previous season of LHHNY.

L O L!

Moving on, Yandy is out here “unknowingly” illegally harboring a foster child for the sake of a storyline and ratings. Now in her defense, she was trying to do some good by helping the young lady named Infinity by taking her into her home because she didn’t want her to fall victim to the system. Only after a conversation with Jonathan and speaking with the child’s caseworker who warned her that harboring Infitiy could result in her own children being taken away did Yandy realize if she wants to help the girl shes gotta do it the right way.

She has a conversation with Infinity having to break the bad news to the girl that she can’t stay in her home anymore. She reassures the young woman that she is not abandoning her and she is going to figure things out. We already know that Yandy has adopted Infinity but buckle up we will have to endure the process on the show more than likely.

Sidney Starr is still dead set on insulting our eardrums with her pipe dreams of a rap career. For some reason, they think Nya Lee (who doesn’t have a much of career either) is the person who will help unlock Starr’s “hidden” potential.  Instead of just focusing on the music, Lee thinks they need fix Sidney’s image by changing her look, mainly how she dresses. If you have seen how Nya Lee parades around you should be rolling your eyes at this.  Anyway, after an intense debate between the two, Starr puts on one of the outfits and looks nice but long story short the bars are still T R A S H.

Last but not least Joe and Cyn’s problems are not getting any better. Instead of fixing the issues in his home himself, Joe enlists the help of Remy Ma. He wants his State of The Culture co-host to sit down with his child’s mother to discuss her battle with postpartum depression. Cyn was not feeling the move she admits during her confessional but goes along with it for the sake of her relationship with Joe.

The conversation between the two moms goes very well with Cyn willing to compromise and create a schedule so that she can have more time with Joe. The couple meets up later and with Santana looking very optimistic but that quickly goes out the window because Budden feels she did not really tackle the issue by coming up with a gameplan to address her depression. Cyn insists she can handle it on her own and does not want to resort to taking pills. So it looks like this long-winded drama between the two will continue.

Twitter Reacts To Juelz & His Chompers Going Home, Cyn Battling Depression, Sidney Starr Still Packing & More #LHHNY Moments

Love & Hip Hop: New York Cast Photo

Source: VH1

Last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop was definitely a mix of ratchet behavior with a heavy dose of sad moments. We learned some of the cast members are dealing with some severe issues and sought help from fellow cast mates to hopefully get them.

The episode picks up with Juelz and Kimbella having a conversation about trying to get on the same page for the sake of their family before he heads to jail. The recently engaged couple is trying to figure out how to break the news to their children before they find out some other way that their father will have to go away for a while. If there is any silver lining for them, the court allowed Juelz to leave his momma’s house and come back home so he can spend the remaining time with his fiancé and kids.

When they do finally have that discussion with the kids, the scene just looked painfully scripted. While its no doubt the kids are sad that dad has to go to jail, you really couldn’t tell because the kids looked like they wanted to laugh instead shed tears and Twitter definitely noticed.

Mariahlynn reveals to Jonathan she is having some family issues with her mom and is seeking full custody of her baby sister until her mother can get her life back on track. Speaking of Jonathan he is worried about his on again and off again bestie Anais, so he reaches out to Rich Dollaz. If you remember last season the two butt heads because he was upset, Dollaz was sleeping with the married Latin singer. After Jonathan shares a photo of Anais looking painfully thin, Rich reveals he learned from a source the Anais has been in and out of a mental facility. Rich recommends to Jonathan that if he is worried about Anais, he should stay away from her because their friendship is toxic.

Meanwhile, Rich’s artist Sidney Starr is still trying to make this rap career happen. Dollaz is on the job and reaches out to Nya Lee in hopes she will bury the hatchet and help the Trans rapper out. We head to the studio where Jacque and Rich have a beat ready for Sidney to hop on.

Starr hops in the booth, and the result is just pure struggle, it’s so awful that Rich blasts Sidney for her poor performance. After her scolding, Nya and Sidney connect, and the two open up to each other, and it’s at this moment Sidney reveals she has been lying about having surgery and that she doesn’t tell men she still has a penis when she has sex with them.

Last but certainly not least, Joe is still not taking care of business in bed, and Cyn is going through it. Before Joe and his hat can leave his fiancée insists they have a conversation. Joe reveals that his busy “25/8” work schedule makes him “too tired” to have sex with Cyn. She finally explains that it’s not just the lack of peen that is bothering her, but she was also dealing with post-partum depression.

Joe’s response isn’t very supportive basically suggesting that she seek help and get a nanny. He then tells her would be fine if they broke up if she no depressed and that’s how the conversation ends. We know the couple as of now is currently happy but its still going to be interesting to see how the couple worked things out.  As you can imagine Twitter had thoughts about this revealing episode, you can see them all in the gallery below.
