Tekashi 6ix9ine Asks for Fed Judge’s Permission to Shoot Videos in Backyard During Quarantine/House Arrest

While other incarcerated celebs aren’t getting any leeway during the coronavirus pandemic, Tekashi 6ix9ine is counting his blessings after being granted home confinement for the remainder of his federal racketeering sentence. Now, the millennial Brooklyn rapper is asking the judge for one more favor; to let him shoot videos for his new music in his backyard.

According to motions filed by Tekashi’s legal team that was obtained by TMZ, 6ix9ine is seeking permission to film music videos. His probation officer has not objected to the request, so now his lawyers Lance Lazarro and Dawn Florio are awaiting a stamp of approval from federal Judge Paul Englemayer.

This is the same judge who gave Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, a slap on the wrist in his racketeering case for cooperating with federal prosecutors. Englemayer is also the same judge who granted Hernandez the home confinement option due to the COVID-19 scare in the country’s jails and prisons.

6ix9ine signed a reported $10 million record deal in October of last year and it looks like the visuals from one of the most hated acts in Hip Hop will be coming to flat screens around the world in the very near future.

Nine Trey Gangster Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack Sentenced To 17 Years After Tekashi Testimony

Disgraced Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine continues to bring down his former squad, with the Nine Trey’s second in command being sentenced to 17 years in federal prison yesterday.

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, helped the feds land gun and drug charges against Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack after the 2018 federal take down of the Nine Trey Gangster Blood gang, which is based in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, NY.

Mack held the “High 020” position, which is the second in command of the gang.

“You had a particular impact on the gang’s narcotics operations,” said Judge Paul Englemeyer during the sentencing. Federal prosecutors also requested that Mack, 34, serve his time on the West Coast, claiming “that a designation away from the seat of the power of New York Bloods will minimize the damage he can cause.”

For his ongoing cooperation, Hernandez received a mere two year federal prison sentence, of which will be fulfilled before the end of 2020.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Files To Commute Sentence To Home Confinement; Fears For Life In Prison

According to a breaking report from TMZ, Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez has filed to finish the remainder of his sentence at home due to the threats on his life after becoming a cooperating witness against the Nine Trey Blood gang.

Tekashi’s lawyer Lance Lazzaro filed documents today to have the disgraced rapper commute the rest of his sentence to home confinement or a more safe facility, in which they cite the “Gummo” rapper’s safety is “seriously at risk” after becoming a government witness against the gang he once swore allegiance to during his apex as one of Hip Hop’s most dynamic figures.

Earlier this month, Tekashi was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for his role in the Nine Trey racketeering case. Being that he’s already served more than a year behind bars, 6ix9ine could be released as early as August of this year.

BREAKING: Tekashi 6ix9ine Sentenced To Two Years In Prison

“Gummo” rapper Tekashi 6ix 9ine received leniency in his sentencing today (December 18) for his cooperation with federal authorities, getting him a mere two years for flipping on his former Nine Trey Blood gang.

After pleading guilty guilty to nine gang, drug and gun charges back in February, Tekashi faced a minimum of 37 years in federal prison, however, Manhattan Federal Judge Paul Engelmayer chose to sentence 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, severely below those sentencing guidelines.

Engelmayer rewarded him for his cooperation against the Nine Trey, who gave the Mexican rapper from Bushwick street cred in Bed Stuy with his Blood gang ties, but Hernandez began cooperating with the feds almost immediately following the November 2018 bust of the Brooklyn-based Nine Trey gang.

Prosecutors say that Tekashi’s testimony was pivotal in the guilty verdicts of Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, whose racketeering and kidnapping trials landed both Nine Trey members in prison for a total of over 160 years. Tekashi’s testimony caused other members to take pleas, landing a total of eleven convictions for the government.

Tekashi is set to begin his sentence immediately in federal custody.

Federal Prosecutors Are Asking For A Lighter Punishment For Tekashi 6ix9ine, Sentencing Scheduled For Dec. 18

Snitches might get stitches, but they get off easier, too!

According to court proceedings obtained yesterday by XXL, federal prosecutors are recommending that ex-gang affiliated rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine be given a lighter sentence in lieu of him testifying against his former associates in the Nine Trey Blood gang.

Prosecutors say that 6ix9ine provided “substantial assistance” in helping them bring down at least five Nine Trey Bloods in a RICO conspiracy case, including his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison in September.

Prosecutors say that Tekashi should be sentenced according to “18 U.S.C. § 3553(e) and the factors set forth in Section 5K1.1(a)(1)–(5) of the Guidelines” and given a lighter sentence for his cooperation. These guidelines suggest that a judge can sentence you to less than the mandatory minimum, depending on the importance of the information you provide for the United States government.

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was originally facing a mandatory minimum of 47 years in the federal slammer when he was indicted.

Hernandez will face his sentencing on December 18, 2019.
