Nick Cannon Speaks Big Ol’ Facts: “What Time Does SURVIVING HARVEY WEINSTEIN Come On???”

Nick Cannon

Hollywood actor Nick Cannon isn’t 100 percent here for R. Kelly getting endless bashing while alleged sexual predators like former movie studio exec Harvey Weinstein gets a pass. The hip-hop artist went to social media Saturday to speak up.

On Saturday, Cannon singled out Weinstein and made a direct reference to Lifetime’s recent controversial Surviving R. Kelly docu-series.

Over the past few days, various celebs have expressed similar frustrations with white entertainers appearing to get a pass from extreme criticism.

….

R. Kelly’s love interests Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage have defended Kelly amid claims he lured them into becoming sex slaves.

This week, various musicians trolled Kelly over his now-infamous explosive CBS tell-all interview.

Nick Cannon Says Black Men See White Women as a Symbol of Success

Does being able to date white women equate to success for a black man? Well, comedian, Nick Cannon says that this is the reason black women are overlooked for white women.  In a 17 minute long interview with guest Rizza Islam for his Youtube show, Cannon Class, the two examined the idea of black men loving white women more than they love black women.

The interview starts with Cannon wanting to know why he can’t be with a white woman. Rizza then explains to him that the best way he knows how to explain love is  “of course the honorable Minister Farrakhan teaches us that love is from and of God” but “the reason why the white woman, and we can go into anatomy, biology, history culture, is not ideal for the black man is because if you want to have the best of another black man you have to have a black man and a black woman to have a child.”

The pair started talking about forbidden love between blacks and whites prompting Cannon to say that the reason why black men choose white women over black women is that of status, “White women are looked at as success because in America we see a white woman, I couldn’t have you. My daddy couldn’t have you My granddaddy couldn’t have you. I would get killed for even looking at you. People, if they thought I whistled at you, they would murder me. Beat me. Drag me down the street. So now, if I play for the NBA, I want them all and I can afford them all, that’s what they are thinking.”

Cannon then goes on to say that it is apart of the slave mentally, “It’s like, I was your slave for this long, now I’m going to take your woman because your woman always wanted me, she always has dreamt about me. It was forbidden, now that it isn’t I’m going to show that I’m the superior  being, the dominant original man and I’m going to act within that, therefore that’s why I believe that once you get money, once you get success, you’re not following anyone else’s rules, I’m going to love who I want.”

Do you agree with Nick Cannon?

Facts? Nick Cannon Says Travis Scott’s Decisions Aren’t “For The Culture”

Daily Pop - Season 2019

Source: E! Entertainment / Getty

While sitting down with TMZ’s Raquel Harper, Nick Cannon shared his thoughts on all the Super Bowl controversy. Most interesting was when the Wild N’ Out creator questioned Travis Scott‘s decision to perform at halftime, as many artists reportedly declined the invitation out of love and respect for Colin Kaepernick.

Comparing Big Boi—who also decided to perform alongside Maroon 5—to Scott, Nick said “To me, I call it cultural equity. So we’re not mad at Big Boi for performing at the Super Bowl. He’s for the people. But, for someone like a Travis Scott, he gotta walk gingerly.”

When asked what Scott needed to do “to show that he’s for the culture,” Nick questioned the rapper’s integrity…and taste in baby mamas. “It’s more about truly having integrity to who you are in your music and your art form. The people you choose to interact with. The people you choose to procreate with—that decision wasn’t for the culture. But we not mad at you,” he explained. Harper quickly reminded Nick that he’s dated some white women in his day, at which point Nick shouted “I love white women…let’s set the record straight! But that’s the thing—it’s cultural equity, at the end of the day.” Watch the clip here.

Travis Scott was recently blasted for his position on Mike Brown after an old interview, in which he seemed to blame Brown for his own death, resurfaced.

Despite the controversy, the Super Bowl will go down at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, February 3 with Maroon 5, Big Boi, and Travis Scott performing. Out of respect, Scott reportedly spoke with Colin Kaepernick before agreeing to do it. Thoughts?

Nick Cannon Says Travis Scott Isn’t for the Culture

Nick Cannon isn’t a fan of Travis Scott performing for the Super Bowl halftime alongside Maroon 5 and Big Boi.

The Wild ‘N Out host appeared on BET’s Raq Rants where he explained that he isn’t bothered by the Atlanta rapper performing in his hometown because he has “cultural equity.” Scott on the other hasn’t proved that he’s for the culture yet.

When Raq Rants host, Raquel Harper asked what does Travis have to do to prove that he’s down with the dip set Nick Cannon responded, “It’s more about truly having integrity. To who you are in your music, your art form. To the people you choose to procreate with. ”

As you may know, he started a family with Kylie Jenner and also plans to marry her. The Kardashian-Jenner clan have frequently been accused of culture appropriation and according to Nick, his romantic connection with her doesn’t help his “cultural equity.”

Nick Cannon Says It’s Bigger Than R. Kelly: “The Groupies After The Shows”

Nick Cannon

Hollywood star Nick Cannon wants people to think bigger than R. Kelly. The hip-hop artist stepped forward this week to address the industry’s dark side and horrendous secret treatment toward women.

During an appearance with radio personality Big Boy, Nick didn’t bite his tongue on explaining why Kelly is just one of many guilty celebs.

“I was the first person to step up. I wrote a post and did a podcast saying I’m going to apologize because I feel like I am guilty. I am guilty for turning a blind eye not just to R. Kelly but to all men in this industry and treating women like second-class citizens has to stop – let’s not have this selective outrage. That’s why I called out a lot of other individuals whose lawyers started contacting me. Why your lawyers contacting me if it’s not true? I’m not out here passing out rumors and stuff, I’m bringing up stuff y’all forgot about because of the timign. We look at the age of the rock star. If you go back and look at some of these movies. They were doing such horrendous things to young girls and it was praised. The groupies after the shows and what they’re doing.” (Big Boy TV)

Last week, Cannon shared his past “Giglo” collaboration and shared deep words on the Kelly situation.

#TBT After much self reflection and meditation, I have to be one of the first to admit that in my past I’ve DEFINITELY turned a blind eye to a lot of darkness in this industry. Let’s stop beating around the bush and call it what it is. This entire industry was established and built by evil and predatorily spirits and male chauvinistic behavior. And since the recent media outrage pertaining to @RKELLY I have realized that the REAL issue at hand is the ultimate lack of care and disrespect for our QUEENS. For far too long we have treated women like second class citizens, when in actuality they are the source, our core, and the Superior beings. But our insecurities, Egos, and lack of love has tried to prove otherwise. Therefore we have SEVERAL cases where we allow entertainers, executives, and every day individuals abuse and mistreat our life bearers and beautiful equals. It is no secret how men have misused their power to manipulate young emerging pop stars to seasoned hollywood actresses and everyone in between. I have personally witnessed it and will no longer be silent about it. It’s not dry snitching, it’s a paradigm shift. I’m not judging ANY man for his past or his private actions because I too am a guilty sinner of the blatant disrespect even in some of the statements in the song above. But From Individuals like Les Moonves, Harvey Weinstein, ‪Elvis and others, I must say we have to deal with this sickness head on. The real leaders and Bosses must step up and be MEN! And I will be one of the first to say on behalf of all men, I am Sorry. Please consider an advocate, ally and student that needs guidance in an industry that was designed to take advantage of women. Let’s change it ALL immediately. And call it all to the table for our ignorance, wrong doings and disrespect. I apologize my Queens.

Nick Cannon Doesn’t Believe Kylie Jenner Makes as Much as JAY-Z

Nick Cannon has been making a lot of headlines recently because he has been very vocal about his opinion.

Cannon stopped by Vlad TV and he weighed in on Kylie Jenner tying JAY-Z for the top spot on the Forbes list.

“At this point, I don’t think Jay-Z’s publicist has to pitch him for Forbes. But Kylie, I feel some spinning there. I’m not necessarily rocking. Somebody’s publicist made a call, and they know the attention she be getting. ‘You know if we say that she’s the equivalent to Jay-Z and it’s the number one spot, it’s gonna make news everywhere.’”

He also expressed his thoughts on the ‘billionaire’ title being tossed around freely. Nick Cannon noted that the Olsen twins and Jessica Simpson were reported to have a billion dollars in the past but were never featured on the prestigious list.

It’s hard to tell if we need to give Kylie’s PR team kudos, or if Nick is making valid points.

50 Cent & Funk Flex Call Out Dame Dash & Nick Cannon For Insinuating Jay-Z Had Relations Foxy Brown

The Launch of Jay Z's 40/40 Club - Inside Party

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty

It’s not a secret that whenever Dame Dash does an interview and is asked about Jay-Z he goes into a Trump like tantrum and shoots down any attempts to answer Jigga related questions. But Nick Cannon actually got him to say more than anyone expected.

Recently Dame spoke on how Jay-Z’s collaboration album with R. Kelly affected their him during a clip from an interview he did with Nick Cannon for Cannon’s Class, but in a newly released clip from said interview, Dame insinuated that Jay-Z might’ve had a fling with a teenage Foxy Brown in the mid 90’s.

After the Wild ‘N Out host asked Dame how old Foxy Brown was when she signed to the label. Dame immediately shot that question down saying “I wasn’t paying attention to Foxy Brown. I didn’t sign Foxy Brown! Stop putting me in that! You keep asking like I’m on the block, I’m responsible for everybody. I don’t know nothing about that. Don’t beat around the bush. What do you mean by that question? are you insinuating?” After Nick said he felt that Foxy was 16 at the time, Dame responded with “It seems like you got a question for Jay.”

Needless to say it seems like Dame and Nick were trying to pull some cards out of a 90’s deck here and people took notice and immediately called out Dame Dash Nick Cannon for trying to throw Jay under the bus.

50 Cent was the first to take to social media and called out Dame Dash and Nick Cannon saying that their interview should’ve been called “2 suckers chatting class.” Funk Flex also chimed in commenting “2 Grown men giggling like b*tches concerned about Jay-Z and who he touching! Nick always commenting on a man chick… But can’t keep his chick! Dame intern/wife took all his sh*t. Y’all 2 are a f*cking disgrace from my era!! FOH.” Well, damn.

Instagram Photo

Nick Cannon responded to the heat from 50 and Flex trying to downplay the situation replying “Ha!! That’s what you got out of that big Homey??? Interesting! I was taught Solid recognize Solid and sucks recognize suckers… Let’s talk about it,” but that just led to more anger from Flex responding with “What the next man d**k got to do with y’all. FOXY smart and always wanted to get ahead and always lied about her age. I remember because for awhile she couldn’t get in the tunnel! She never told the truth about her age!”

Earlier in the week, buzz developed about a Georgia criminal investigation launching following last week’s Surviving R. Kelly docuseries airing.

We’re told the probe was launched over the past few days as a direct result of what ‘Surviving’ depicted. We’re told investigators have been reaching out to several survivors featured in the TV project. We have confirmed investigators reached out to Asante McGee, one of the women who allegedly escaped R. Kelly’s home. We’re told investigators were flooded with calls once the docuseries aired. (TMZ)
