Daughter Of Bucks Owner Trolls Drake, Rocks Pusha T T-Shirt

The Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks are nearing the end of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals battle and it’s getting more than a little petty on both sides. With Drake getting under the skin of Milwaukee with his courtside antics, the daughter of the Bucks trolled in return by rocking a Pusha T t-shirt on Thursday (May 23).

TMZ Sports reports:

Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner, Wes Edens, is sitting courtside with Aaron Rogers for game 5 … and she’s wearing a freakin’ Pusha T shirt.

Of course, Drake and Push bad MASSIVE BEEF last year … with each hip-hop star dropping super personal diss tracks about the other.

It got heated.

So, why the shot at Drake?

Remember, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks were PISSED at Drizzy after game 4 in Toronto — where the Raptors ambassador roamed the sideline, taunted MIL’s players.

Bucks coach, Mike Budenholzer, was hot at Drake’s antics … saying, “There’s certainly no place for fans and, you know, whatever it is exactly that Drake is for the Toronto Raptors.”

Drake responded by adding in his Instagram story a photo of Edens in the shirt with a superimposed caption reading, “All is fair in war and war and trust me I’ll still get you tickets to ovo fest.”

Drizzy also changed his IG profile image to a photo of Edens.

Drake Celebrating At Raptors Games Angers Bucks Coach, 6 God Shrugs It Off

Milwaukee Bucks v Toronto Raptors - Game Four

Drake has gained a reputation at Toronto Raptors games for loudly participating in his hometown squad’s games from his courtside vantage point. The OVO Sound rapper’s antics caused Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer to call out the sideline celebrations, but the 6 God seemingly shrugged it off.

TMZ Sports
reports:

The 6 God did all but actually suit up for the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday … yelling during free throws, laughing when Giannis Antetokounmpo missed said free throws, and even giving Toronto coach Nick Nurse a back rub.

Budenholzer weighed in on the Raps’ ambassador Wednesday … and he ain’t happy with Drizzy seemingly getting special access to the hardwood.

“I see it in some timeouts, but I don’t know of any person that’s attending the game that isn’t a participant in the game a coach — I’m sorry, a player or a coach that has access to the court,” Budenholzer says.

“There’s certainly no place for fans and, you know, whatever it is exactly that Drake is for the Toronto Raptors.

“You know, to be on the court, there’s boundaries and lines for a reason, and like I said, the league is usually pretty good at being on top of stuff like that.”

Drake also caught a stray shot from the rep for Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo in a now-deleted tweet.

Petty is as petty does, and Drake’s response to all the uproar can be seen below.

The Toronto Raptors Gave Drake A Jacket Worth $769K

Milwaukee Bucks v Toronto Raptors - Game Four

Source: Gregory Shamus / Getty

Yes you read that correctly. Canada’s premier and only NBA organization hooked Drizzy up in a major way.

As reported by High Snobiety Drake received a one of one custom Toronto Raptors / OVO jacket valued over $769,000. The outside shell is resembles a sports jacket but the inside lining reveals a “City Edition” Raptors jersey. This uber pricey piece comes with an exorbitantly high price tag for a reason. For starters the fabric is sourced from a French mill with pieces used dating all the way back to 1927. Additionally the Raptors basketball and OVO owl logos are detailed in lab-grown, carbon-neutral diamonds.

The gesture is a nod to the ever popular “Drake Curse” which was ongoing part of the team’s current playoff run. If you let history tell it anytime Drizzy wore jersey the respective quad would end up losing. So much so the “In My Feelings” rapper wore the logos of four different cities during the weekend of NFL divisional championship games.

You can see more of the jacket below.

Milwaukee Radio Station Bans Drake Tracks During Raptors Playoff Battle

With the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks locking horns in the Eastern Conference Finals for the 2019 NBA Playoffs, a radio station in  Cream City has taken drastic measures. KISS-FM in Milwaukee will put a temporary hold on playing Drake songs as his team looks to even things up in the series.

From OnMilwaukee.com:

And local radio is no different, as the hosts of 103.7 KISS FM proclaimed today that hip-hop star Drake has been temporarily banned from its airwaves.

Or, put otherwise, this Kiki doesn’t love you, they are not riding and they are currently leaving from beside you.

Why all the anger at Aubrey? You see, Drake isn’t just a Raptors fan. He’s not even just a Raptors superfan, merely seen sitting courtside and politely applauding at Toronto home games. No, he’s a literal member of the franchise as a “global ambassador” for the team. The team’s training center has been renamed after Drake’s OVO brand, and one of the Raptors’ uniforms even uses Drake’s signature black-and-gold color scheme, putting his imprint literally on the team. So he’s much more than just a celeb fan. He’s an embedded and very annoyingly chirpy celeb fan who sits courtside by the team as if he’s an assistant coach and gets into tiffs with the players actually playing the game.

The Bucks and Raptors square off tonight at 8:30 PM with Milwaukee hosting and owning one game to zero lead in the best of seven contest.

Meek Mill Denied Travel To Toronto For Sixers Playoff Game

Celebrities At The Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Clippers - Game Three

Meek Mill hoped to be on the sidelines for game one of the Eastern Conference semifinals game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors. However, an old legal nemesis for the rapper denied him the chance to go see his hometown squad take on their neighbors to the north.

TMZ Sports reports:

The Philly rapper has been on probation ever since his 2008 drug and weapons case … and has to get permission every time he wants to leave the state of Pennsylvania.

So, when the Sixers got matched up with the Raps in the Eastern Conference semi-finals this week, Meek — a HUGE Sixers fan — filed a request to make the trip to the 6 to cheer on his guys in person.

We’re told Meek’s probation officer signed off on the request with no issue … but when it came to getting Brinkley’s signature, she refused to approve the request.

Of course, Meek and Brinkley have history … and it’s no secret they don’t get along.

Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin says Brinkley is deliberately ignoring their attempts to get approval … teeing off on the judge in an Instagram post.

“Judge Genece Brinkley – I know you have a vendetta against Meek Mill and are obsessed with trying to control every aspect of his life, but did you really NOT approve him to go to rep the Sixers in Toronto for the game?”

That stinks but hey, not all seven games will be hosted in Toronto and chances are this will be a long series. May the best team win.
