Ya love to see it. On Saturday night (Dec. 14) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, MAGA friendly MMA fighter Colby Covington got his ass whipped and his jaw broken by Kamaru Usman, who happens to be a Black man.

It was a 5th round TKO for Usman, who put Covington on the mat with a powerful left hand, at the main event of UFC 245.

Before the fade, Covington had been talking big sh*t. But nothing more egregious than embracing a co-sign from Cheeto Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and  Eric Trump.

Welp, that tweet didn’t age very well.

Reports ESPN:

It was the second-latest stoppage in a title fight in UFC history and came in a very close fight up until that point. Covington did very well in the early rounds, while Usman rallied in the third and fourth.

After the third round, Covington told his corner that he believed he had a broken jaw. Covington was transported to the hospital following the fight, and a UFC spokesperson said it was determined that Covington “suffered a non-displaced midline mandible fracture.”

The end came in the fifth when Usman dropped Covington with a right hand. Covington got to his feet, but Usman dropped him with another right. Usman closed in and flurried on the ground with hammer fists as Covington attempted a takedown. Referee Marc Goddard stepped in to call it a TKO, a call Covington protested immediately afterward and later on Twitter, saying Goddard “robbed” him and “robbed the people of a fair fight.”

Or, the ref saved Covington’s life, but whatevs. Usman came through the get back.

Usman said afterward that his victory isn’t just for him, but for everyone, mentioning the country of Brazil, which Covington has described as a “dump” and the residents of which he has called “filthy animals.”

“This one is for the whole entire world right now,” Usman said.

The Las Vegas crowd, though, was pro-Covington throughout the bout, chanting “Colby!” and “USA!” Usman is an American citizen and longtime U.S. resident but was born in Nigeria.

Usman retained his UFC welterweight title. Maybe more importantly he inspired righteous Twitter for a gang of jokes—#MAGAJAW is trending. Peep the best slander below.

Bus Attacker Conor McGregor Faded Old Man In Dublin Bar Because, Whiskey

Mixed Martial Arts star Conor McGregor is back in legal hot water after a video surfaced showing him punching an old man in a Dublin bar. The Irish UFC fighter reportedly hit the man because he refused McGregor’s Proper Twelve whiskey shot.

TMZ Sports reports:

The absurd attack went down at The Marble Arch Pub in Dublin on April 6. Conor walked in and lined up cups for bar patrons … looking to buy a round of his Proper Twelve for everyone. The problems started when the guy opted out. Conor placed a cup in front of him not once, but twice … and he still refused.

Unclear if words were exchanged between them, but after Conor downed a shot with the other drinkers, he unexpectedly threw his notorious left fist right in the face of the old man who rejected the booze.

Two people immediately grabbed McGregor and pulled him out of the bar. The violence was reported to cops, who announced back in April they’d opened an investigation. It’s unclear if that’s still active, but there are no reports Conor was ever charged — even though cops have reportedly seen this video.

McGregor’s tough-guy fade didn’t even knock the old man out as the outlet noted. Charges have yet to be made in the incident and added to recent violent acts outside the octagon that McGregor has been involved in.

UFC Boss Dana White Says Khabib Nurmagomedov Won’t Box Floyd Mayweather, MMA Only

Denver Nuggets v Los Angeles Lakers

Floyd Mayweather turned heads when he and UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov teased the possibility of a traditional boxing match between the fighters. However, UFC boss Dana White says Money will have to come inside the world of mixed martial arts if he wants the big payday.

TMZ Sports reports:

Floyd has said he’s 70% certain the two sides will get a deal done to box — he expects to make a 9-FIGURE CHECK if it comes to fruition.

But, when we saw Dana at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills over the weekend, he had an ultimatum for Floyd.

“Listen, if Mayweather wants to fight, come fight. You fight in the UFC. We’re not boxing him. We did that once. That’s over.”

Of course, Dana’s referring to Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor — which clocked in at the 2nd highest pay-per-view fight of all time. But, apparently, Dana’s not down for a second bite of that apple.

“You wanna fight? You come fight … a REAL fight.”

Mayweather has previously teased that he was training for an MMA fight — but it doesn’t seem like he ever followed through with it.

Nurmagomedov recently defeated McGregor and successfully defended his UFC Lightweight belt and has said he’s game to box with Mayweather for the right price. Tyron Woodley, the UFC Welterweight title holder, said he’d gladly train Mayweather for the Octagon and said the veteran pugilist could do well there.

50 Cent Calls Himself New Don King & Announces Deal: “Y’All Thought I Was On Some Bow Wow Challenge S**t”

50 Cent

New York rapper 50 Cent is gaining some serious clout right now. The hip-hop heavyweight has announced a new Viacom and Bellator MMA deal.

Fif went to Instagram Thursday to celebrate the major sports power move and low-key fire some shots.

“You already know. We here, I’m celebrating, just did a new deal. Viacom. Bellator. MMA. It’s going down. You see I got the WBA right here. This right here, next year it’s gonna just be me versus me for Hustler of the Year. I’m doing it big. I’m the heavyweight champion of this sh*t right here. I got this sh*t going. You see me. Don King ain’t Don King. Don King’s old. I’m Don King. I’m the American Dream around this motherf*cking championship scene. Working the room like a motherf*cker. But they paid me, so, check this out. Give me something, a little watch, something like that, I send something over there. All that little money, the money you were upset you didn’t put into the actual boxing sh*t, I’m not upset about that sh*t at all. Not at all. If we were cool, I wouldn’t be making a deal like this right now. My n*gga, you did it. You did it, Sha. I know you didn’t mean to do it, you little retarded motherf*cker but you did it. [laughs]”

50 also went to his IG page to announce a new deal with Bellator MMA and some new signature Get The Strap apparel.

At a recent Bellator 199 MMA event press conference, company head Scott Coker said Fif’s next project would come out this summer.

During the press conference, Coker was asked if there was a business deal with 50 yet and he replied with a surprising answer that the G-Unit boss is releasing a new album in a few weeks. “Yeah, he’s got a new album dropping in about six weeks,” Coker said around the 5:45 mark. “It’s like, look, he loves MMA. And when a big star like that loves MMA and wants to be involved, it just makes a lot of sense. And he wanted to come and check it out. This was his first time to a Bellator fight,” he continued. (Hip Hop N More)

In early June, 50 teased fans about new music in the works and promoted his now-infectious “Get the strap” catchphrase.
