Washington Nationals’ Kurt Suzuki Rocks MAGA Hat At The White House

Donald Trump might’ve gotten hit with the universal boo’s and “Lock him up” chants from Washington fans during game 5 of the World Series in DC, but the divider-in-chief still has a MAGA supporter in Nationals catcher Kurt Suzuki.

Just a few days after Nationals relief pitcher Sean Dolittle told the Washington Post he wouldn’t be joining his World Series Champion team during their visit to the White House due to Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric, Suzuki wasn’t only all smiles during his appearance at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but he jumped out the window by donning the new era Klansman hood, a Make America Great Again hat. How people of color continue to promote this f*ckery is beyond us, but the Hawaiian born MLB player is obviously unaware of the danger he’d be in if he were ever to find himself in deep red Trump country just based off the color of his skin and his immigrant-ish features.

Donald Trump was all too happy to find a public supporter of color on the championship team and proceeded to embrace him from behind, possibly dredging up painful memories for the more than a dozen women who’ve accused the “Grab them by the pu**sy” motto man of sexual assault.

But Suzuki wasn’t the only star player to offer Trump his support as OG Nationals star Ryan Zimmerman thanked the divisive fearmonger for “keeping everyone here safe in our country continuing to make America the greatest country to live in the world.” Canceled aaaannnnd canceled.

Though most of the team attended the White House celebration, 8 players declined the invite including the aforementioned Dolittle, Anthony Rendon and Javy Guerra amongst others.

Don’t be surprised if “treason” charges are brought against them for not publicly kissing the leader’s ring or something.

Quavo Adds Pitcher To Resume After Throwing Out 1st Pitch At Braves Game

Divisional Series - St Louis Cardinals v Atlanta Braves - Game Two

One-third of the hit-making group Migos, Quavo, checked another major milestone off of his bucket list after being tapped to throw out the game-opening pitch for his hometown team.

According to sports news, Quavo threw out the first ceremonial pitch before game two of the National League Division Series matchup between the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals on Friday (Oct. 4). The special occasion featured the “Pure Water” artist donning a custom made Braves jersey that featured him rocking the number 91, for his birth year, and bolstered his nickname “Huncho” on the back.

Before the start of the game, Fox Sports tweeted out a video of Quavo practicing his perfect pitch behind an old building, landing a near-perfect strike to the catcher.

While on the field, Quavo kept that same energy throwing southpaw as the announcer asked candidly, “Let’s see what you got, Quavo.”

In other Migos news, the trio received good news last week after a judge ruled that a company’s 2015 agreement to market apparel for hip-hop group did not give it a right to capitalize on the Migos name in light of the group’s recent success.

According to Law.com, Justice O. Peter Sherwood knocked out key claims in a lawsuit by Rocawear co-founder Norton Cher’s YRN LLC, which sued the Georgia-based trio and Migos LLC for breach of contract in May 2018.

According to the complaint, the firm acquired the trademarks to “Y.R.N.” and “Yung Rich Nation” in March 2015, with the goal of marketing clothing and accessories associated with Migo’s then-forthcoming single and album by the same names. The suit alleged that the performers, Quavious Marshall, Kiari Cephus and Kirshnik Ball, and managers Jerel Nance and Pierre Thomas had agreed not to compete with the company by marketing apparel with the Migos name.

It was an “incontrovertible fact,” Judge Sherwood said, noting that the company never had any right to the Migos name, and by the time Migos had paired up with Bravado, any need for the contract’s restrictions was gone.

“There simply was no market left to cannibalize.” Sherwood wrote in an 11-page opinion dated Sept. 12. “The market for apparel bearing the name of a faded Migos song or album was gone and the restrictive covenants in [the contract] no longer made commercial success.”

The ruling was handed down in September, although it was just announced this week.

An explosive case unfolded today after news that Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez was slapped with several charges in connection to his relationship with a minor girl. Police were able to close in on the 28-year-old MLB All-Star due to the distinctive tattoos on his arm.

TMZ Sports
exclusively reports:

Pittsburgh Pirates all-star pitcher Felipe Vazquez was arrested this morning in Pennsylvania on some truly disturbing charges including solicitation of a 13-year-old girl.

The 28-year-old closer — considered one of the best pitchers in baseball — was taken into custody in Pittsburgh stemming from an arrest warrant out of Florida.

Officials say they were investigating allegations Vasquez had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl in Lee County, Florida.

According to officials, the girl, now 15 years old, WAS continuing to have a relationship with Vasquez and had received a video in July from the MLB star performing a “sex act.”

Officials say Vasquez also sent the girl text messages suggesting they would meet for sex after the MLB season ended.

Several electronic devices were seized from Vasquez’s apartment in Pittsburgh during the investigation.

In subsequent updates, and a report from CBS Pittsburgh adding to the details, it has since come out that Vazquez is facing three felony charges — statutory sexual assault of a minor 11 years or older; unlawful contact with a minor; and corruption of minors — as well as one misdemeanor, indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old.

Vazquez appeared in court in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania Tuesday and was denied bail with other charges said to be pending.

It’s a sad day for baseball fans as TMZ is reporting that MLB infielders Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo were both killed in a car crash in Venezuela yesterday (December 6).

According to the report 33-year-old Valbuena and 37-year-old Castillo were killed after leaving a Venezuelan league game and their driver drove off the road after either hitting a rock or swerving in an attempt to avoid the hit.

The driver, teammate Carlos Rivero, survived the wreck.

The MLB released a statement Friday morning, saying, “We are saddened by the tragic news that Luis Valbuena and former major leaguer José Castillo have died in a car accident.”

This comes just two years after Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed in a boat accident just before he was poised to sign a multi-year multi-million dollar contract.

Rest In Power.
