Meek Mill took to Twitter Sunday afternoon to publicly announce his split from his fashion entrepreneur girlfriend, Milan Harris.
“We me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents,” said the Grammy nominated rapper. “We still have mad love for each other but we both came to a understanding!”
There is no telling the timeline of Meek and Milano’s relationship. The news comes more than 2 months after the birth of their baby boy on May 6. Meek, 33, took to Twitter on his birthday to share the news. He shares the same birthday as his second son. Harris’ responded with subtlety on Instagram and re-directed the focus to arresting the murderers of Breonna Taylor.
“I’d never address my private life publicly, but I just felt the need to say arrest the cops that killed Breonna Taylor.”
Harris the founder of fashion brand, Milano de Rouge. The Philadelphia rapper’s announcement comes just days after Kanye West’s suggestive tweets about him and Kim Kardashian. Meek called cap on all of West’s claims. TMZ also reported a photo that proved the meeting the be a party of 3, rather than the duo that West alleged. The “Going Bad” rapper also announced this less than a week after ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj revealed her pregnancy.

Meek Mill wants his privacy. The Championships rapper recently deleted his Instagram after his alleged girlfriend, Milan Harris, revealed her pregnancy this past weekend. Harris is a fashion designer and founder of the popular fashion brand, Milano Di Rouge. The 30-year-old businesswoman announced her pregnancy at her annual fashion show this past weekend.
“I’m a creative, so I didn’t want to announce my pregnancy to the world or even to my family with just a photo of my baby bump,” said Harris. “I wanted to create a moment that I could cherish and remember forever.”
Although it was rumored for some time that the two Philadelphia natives were in a relationship, Meek denied this to be true. The Instagram deactivation doesn’t help his case, but we are all happy for the alleged couple nevertheless.
The announcement comes days after Meek Mill and REFORM Alliance invited a group of Philadelphia kids and their families to NYC for a Christmas shopping spree at the NBA store. DJ Khaled pulled up to show support for the Holiday initiative as well. Meek Mill also pulled up to a Philadelphia
Following the shopping spree, the group was charted on a private plane to Foxborough to watch the Patriots and Bills game. Both the tickets and plane were courtesy of Patriots owner and REFORM Alliance board member, Robert Kraft.
While Meek Mill has deleted his IG, he is still active on Twitter. He took time out yesterday to respond to his followers during an #askMeek session. In the tweets he did answer, Meek plans to visit Nigeria in 2020, guarantees the next “Tony Story” to be on his next album and more. He also advises that this is the “easiest time to be a millionaire.”
