DaBaby is having baby.

On Tuesday (Feb. 11) DaBaby was caught in an online firestorm of criticism after the mother of his daughter, MeMe, posted a video of his alleged text messages to another woman who she claimed is pregnant with his child.

The two were seemingly involved in a couple’s dispute over the fact that the “Suge” rapper procreated with another woman who is several months pregnant with his child. The news broke after the “BOP” rapper’s girlfriend, MeMe, shared a text exchange between DaBaby and the unidentified woman on Instagram, and in the video can be heard arguing about the rapper’s need to “police” her.

DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, took to his own Instagram page to clarify the situation, revealing that while he does have another child on the way, he never cheated on his girlfriend.

”I see it’s another day that the internet is talking about baby,” DaBaby said. “Let me clear somethings up, when my new-coming blessing was conceived, me and shawty was not together, shawty was not with me, living with me, was not fucking with me in any way, shape, or form.”

MeMe later seemingly responded by taking to her Instastory and writing the message: “a ‘man’ would never try to disable a woman,” before posting a series of messages explaining why she feels liberated that the truth has been revealed.

Soon there after DaBaby recorded an eight minute video vaguely explaining the situation, while asking for privacy in regards to his children.

”I know this situation is going to be everywhere and all in the media, but my main priority is my daughter,” DaBaby said. “It’s unfortunate because now when I do interviews people are going to be asking about this, but I am asking everyone, media or whoever please don’t ask me about my child. Yes, I am a rapper, but I am a father first.”

Twitter is undefeated when it comes to the memes and jokes, and the latest hot trend has unveiled more of that comedic brilliance. We’ve found the best “I’m Gonna Tell My Kids” memes that have cropped up over the last couple of days.

The concept of the meme is simple: a user posts an image or gif of a person and then adds the “I’m Gonna Tell My Kids” sentence that usually has some over the top connection. One of the early faves was a user posting an image of Harriet Tubman writing in the caption, “I’m Gonna Tell My Kids This Is Julia Roberts.”

Check out the best of the rest below.

Chris Rock Deletes Crack Cocaine Meme About Whitney Houston, After Backlash

Whitney Houston

Cancel culture is a real thing. So real even funnyman Chris Rock had to take down a post that wasn’t so flattering to music royalty.

Madam Noire is reporting that the comedian got a severe heat rash for poking fun at Whitney Houston’s infamous drug use. Over the weekend a meme hit Instagram with a vintage picture of the “I Will Always Love You” singer seated, wearing sunglasses and looking very ready to go to her next destination. The title read “Me sitting in a meeting that could have been an email”.

Rock apparently saw the post on his timeline and decided to add his savage touch to it. “Hurry up I got crack to smoke” his caption read. The quip was a major fail to say the least. Several celebrities checked him calling the joke “tasteless” and “not funny”. Even Houston’s former husband dropped a note to put Chris in his place saying “During this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN!!!”.

The Brooklyn native promptly deleted the post from his Instagram account but the internets never forget. Now some of his fans have turned on him asking that he be muted.

Rock has yet to formally issue an apology nor acknowledge the misstep.

“What Are Those?” Creator Brandon “Young Busco” Moore Dead At 31, Twitter Reacts

Brandon Moore AKA Young Busco

Brandon “Young Busco” Moore became an Internet legend after his infamous “What Are Those?” catchphrase went viral and became social media meme fodder. According to his family, Young Busco has died and fans on Twitter are celebrating the funnyman’s life.

So universally known was Young Busco’s catchphrase that even Michael Jordan fell victim to the “What Are Those?” moment during a basketball camp when an attendee looked at the basketball legend’s shoes to clown. The phrase also made its way to Black Panther after Letitia Wright’s Shuri snapped on King T’Challa AKA The Black Panther and his choice of footwear during a funny scene.

However, Young Busco didn’t reap many rewards from his oft-used joke. Back in March, he sat down with Huffington Post, explaining that despite the reach of the phrase, he didn’t take care of the business end that would have given him some financial kickback. Further, Moore struggled with drug addiction and being present in the lives of his five children but an arrest after the 2015 video on a narcotics charge led to him turning his life around.

This past Sunday, just hours before he passed, Young Busco did what he was known best for by telling a joke about sneaker choices.

According to chatter around social media, a candlelight vigil will be held this Friday (Nov. 30) in Moore’s hometown of Berkeley, Calif.

Rest powerfully in peace, Young Busco.
