Twitter Explodes Over Who Takes Battle Between Killmonger and Loki

Let’s face it, we are all nerds if we know the names Killmonger and Loki. The members of the Marvel universe are cemented in our brains for their nefariousness and abilities.

However, Twitter being the ripe playground it is for the mess, began imagining a world where the two face each other.

With Killmonger the human nemesis to the Black Panther and Loki the God nemesis to Thor, the internets let its imagination run wild.

Erik Killmonger is a super villain appearing in Marvel comic books. The character first appeared in Jungle Action vol. 2, #6 released in September 1973. Killmonger’s birth name is N’Jadaka and he is an enemy of Black Panther. Michael B. Jordan portrayed the character in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Black Panther.

Loki is a god in Norse mythology and appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a antihero and villain. He consistently comes into conflict with the superhero Thor, his adopted brother and archenemy.

Undoubtedly, due to his celestial powers, Loki thrashes Killmonger but not before getting broken off by a militant Killmonger.

Michael B. Jordan Shares Must-See Footage Of Himself Training As BLACK PANTHER’s Killmonger + It’s Pure Epicness

Hollywood superstar Michael B. Jordan is making it hard for us to wait for a much-needed and long-awaited Black Panther sequel. The high-profile entertainer has shared some throwback behind the scenes footage of himself training to become Marvel Studios bad guy Killmonger.

Jordan went to Instagram Saturday night with the must-see clip.

In March, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed big plans for a Black Panther sequel.

“Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one. Earlier this year, singer-turned-actress Mary J. Blige said she could 100 percent see herself in a superhero movie after watching Black Panther.

“I saw some of the cast from Black Panther, which made me really excited…It was an honor to let them know…to let Chadwick [Boseman] know and Lupita [Nyong’o] know just how amazing that film is and what it means to us.” Now that she’s been recognized by The Academy as a nominee, her acting career is bound to continue. When we asked Blige if she could see herself starring in a movie like Marvel’s Black Panther, Blige exclaimed, “I hope so!” (E! Online)

Recently, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar revealed his interest in playing a key role when Black Panther 2 goes into production.

In a new interview with BBC Radio 1 — following his fiery BRITs performance — host Clara Amfo asked Kendrick about the possibility of landing a cameo role in the next Black Panther flick. “Come on, I got to now!” the rapper responded, adding that he’d love to portray a multi-layered antagonist like Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger. “I really enjoy Killmonger’s character, just off the simple fact that he was a villain but he came with some real [talk]. … He was a villain but he was loved and misunderstood. So if I could, I’d play a Killmonger for sure.” (MTV)
