Larry Hoover Jr. Speaks On His Father’s Thoughts Of Kanye West and Drake’s Benefit Concert

maxresdefault 3

We’re a few days away from the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert which is considered to be the biggest event of the year. The two rappers formally squashed their beef last month in an effort to help free Larry Hoover. Ye became vocal of Hoover’s imprisonment during his visit to the White House and carried his efforts onto his latest effort, DONDA.

According to HotnewHipHop Larry Hoover Jr. has stood along with Ye during his recent interviews. However, he recently joined the Drea O Show by himself where he shared his thoughts on the benefit show, as well as his father’s. He applauded Drake and Kanye for coming together but he explained that his father had reservations about the event. Larry Hoover Sr. is reportedly “concerned” because he can’t predict how this will ultimately affect him or his case.

“Yeah, he’s aware of it and he has to be concerned because he doesn’t know how it may affect him,” Hoover Jr. said. “He’s concerned that it may affect him negatively because it’s showing his influence, but his influence is positive. Him being an influential person, it just won’t disappear.”

“I didn’t think it would happen, but it was possible, but not probable.”

The benefit show is reportedly set to be broadcast across select IMAX Theatres, though the information has yet to be confirmed about that.

Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Out-Streams Kanye West’s “Donda”

Drake Certified

Drake is somewhere singing “Way 2 Sexy” right now.

Rolling Stone reported on Tuesday that based on Alpha Data, Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” has exceeded Kanye West’s “Donda” effort in streams in a span of three days.

According to reports, the OVO founder’s ‘CLB’ garnered over 430-million streams in the U.S. while Kanye’s “Donda” received a few under 423-million within its first eight days of streaming.

Additionally, Drake is also on par to break the record for biggest streaming debut in Alpha Data history. The only artist to accomplish this feat was himself with the Toronto spitter’s 2018 album, “Scorpion” which earned over 725-million streams within seven days.

Despite “CLB” out-streaming “Donda” Kanye’s album broke the record for the biggest Rolling Stone debut of 2021, thus far.

As the debate continues on, which project do you feel is stronger? Share your thoughts below.

Drake Fans Leave Messages Vandalizing Kanye West’s Childhood Home

Drake fans

Some fans are now taking it to far getting involved in Drake and Kanye West’s beef.

On Saturday, photos surfaced that show Kanye’s childhood home in Chicago vandalized the “One Dance” rappers fans. Indicated by leaving signs that support Drizzy sitting on the front steps.

One sign reads “CLB Coming Soon,” in reference to Drake’s upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, and another sign read “45 44 Burnt Out,” in reference to the Canadian rhymer’s apparent shot at Kanye on Trippie Redd’s new song “Betrayal.”

The news comes as the Drake and Kanye West beef has been heating up over the last few weeks, with many hoping they would drop their respective albums on the same day.

Kanye however released Donda yesterday, while Drake announced he will drop Certified Lover Boy on September 3.

Things are getting seemingly heated when fans feel it’s okay to vandalize someone’s property.

Kanye Posts Adorable Video of North West Singing Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’

“In My Feelings” is one of North West’s favorite songs.

Kanye West continues to add to his apology to Drake. Both Yeezy and Drizzy have had more than one falling out throughout their friendship. It has been well documented that there is a mutual respect between the two. Their relationship hit a rocky stretch back in May when Pusha T dissed Drake on “Infrared,” which Kanye helped to produce. The diss prompted Drake to release “Duppy Freestyle” as a response, where the 6 God took multiple shots at Ye. When Pusha T responded with, “The Story of Addidon,” he revealed that Drake was a father.

Since then Kanye has recently cleared the air and apologized to Drake on more than one occasion. He tweeted a public apology and promised to attend Drake’s Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour in the recent future. With Yeezus’ return to Instagram, he decided to extend that apology. While most of his posts have been pictures and videos of his trip to Columbia, he posted his daughter, North West singing Drake’s song of the summer, “In My Feelings.”

It is certain that Kanye is going the extra mile to restore his relationship with the “God’s Plan” superstar. According to TMZ, Drake is welcoming the DONDA CEO to his concert with open arms as well. The OVO Honcho recently squashed his longtime beef with Meek Mill and looks to continue this trend with Ye. Yeezy’s sincerity is definitely something to take notice. So far North West’s video is Kanye’s most viewed post in his recent return to The Gram. A subtle like on the post from Champagne Papi will solidify that the reconciliation is near. Hopefully, Drake will invite Ye on stage when he does attend his concert. Drizzy will be in Philly this weekend for his next two dates of his Aubrey and The Three Migos Tour.
