50 Cent’s career may have transitioned from studios to tv shows, he still shows us why he’s still a goat when it comes to making music.

Today, the New York film and music mogul dropped the theme song for his highly-anticipated new Starz show Power Book IV: Force. On Twitter, 50 released the new track “Power Powder Respect,” featuring Lil Durk and Jeremih.

On the track that he refers to as “Chicago vibes,” Jeremih singing vocals grace the hook, and 50 Cent and Lil Durk both follow up with two melodic rap verses.

50 went from a platinum-selling artist to becoming the theme song killer. Since theme song for the original Power series “Big Rich Town” featuring Joe is a smash hit and now he followed up with “Power Powder Respect.”

Power Book IV: Force premieres on February 6, and I’m pretty sure the world is waiting for it.

50 Cent has dominated the television charts among Black households. A few days ago, 50 posted a picture showing him having the top three shows cable shows among Black households.

Power Book II; Ghost 2 ranks No.1 Power Book III; Raising Kanan comes in at No.2, and BMF comes in at No.3.

Along with the Power series and BMF, 50 recently revealed he’s developing a new show; A Moment in Time: Murder was the Case. This show is set to be on Starz and will tell the story of Snoop Dogg’s 1993 murder trial.

Jeremih Joins Cast of ‘Power Book IV: Force’ as Recurring Character

Jeremih Joins Cast of 'Power Book IV: Force' as Recurring Character

Jeremih is set to star alongside Joseph Sikora in Power Book IV: Force, the third installment of the Power universe created by 50 Cent and Courtney Kemp.

Power Book IV: Force is centered around Sikora’s character, Tommy Egan, after he leaves New York City for good and heads to the West Coast for a fresh start.

Kemp and 50 will executive produce alongside Mark Canton, and series creator and showrunner Robert Munic.

Jeremih will portray a high-ranking member of CBI who knows the ins-and-outs of the drug game and will stop at nothing to prove his loyalty to the Sampson brothers.

In addition to Jeremih and Sikora, the Power Book IV cast includes Lili Simmons, Gabrielle Ryan, Isaac Keyes, Shane Harper, Kris D. Lofton, Anthony Fleming III, Lucien Cambric and Tommy Flanagan.

This is a new chapter for the singer who experienced a near fatal battle with COVID-19 in 2020.

“What I can say is, man, it definitely is real,” he said on Sway in the Morning. “I didn’t take it for granted. And truth be told, this was kinda like … I’m a living, walking testimony. To let y’all know,  I was really down bad for the last month and a half. While I was in there, you know, I don’t even remember the day I went in. That’s how messed up I was.”

Jeremih explained the difficulties of the multisystem inflammatory syndrome.

“I had the tube down my throat for about a week and a half,” he said. “I was really, like, in a dream and I ain’t gonna lie, I woke up about two times and all I remember is just seeing a white light … What I ended up having—and I don’t mind sharing it because now, you know, I’m here—it was called a [multisystem] inflammatory syndrome. MIS. Which is a rare case of, you know, cause and effect of [COVID-19]. My whole insides, all my organs, became inflamed. It was going down.”

He explained that he even had to learn how to walk again while recovering. “I had to learn how to walk again, eat, all that,” Jeremih said. “I look at it as kind of somewhat of a blessing now, as crazy as it might sound,” he said. “I needed to sit down. I needed to take a break.”

Congratulations to Jeremih and his new endeavor. Do you look forward to seeing him on the small screen?

The singer ended up in ICU for weeks throughout November after he contracted the virus. The news was revealed by his family and 50 Cent and others, who asked for fans and supporters to pray for him. The singer made it out of ICU after many were thinking that Jeremih may succumb to the virus.

Jeremih released a statement thanking the staff for keeping him alive, saying, “I will be forever grateful. I would also like to thank my family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.” After giving a “special thanks” to Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent and Diddy, Jeremih added, “I would also like to thank all my fans and people around the world who prayed for me. I’m getting stronger every day, and look forward to spending time with my sons.”

Chance The Rapper and Jeremih to Drop a Christmas Album

Jeremih is currently recovering from a battle with COVID-19, and he’s already gearing up to drop new music this Friday.

The Chicago singer is joining forces with Chance The Rapper to release Merry Christmas Lil Mama: The Gift That Keeps on Giving, which will include songs from their 2016 and 2017 releases of the same name.

The 12-track project will feature two new songs, “The Return” and “Who’s to Say,” as per Variety.

“It’s FINALLY happening!!” Chance tweeted, announcing the project.

Jeremih was released from the hospital this week after battling the coronavirus for over a month. He was in ICU and needed a ventilator.

Chance was one of the many public figures calling for fans to pray for Jeremih.

After his release from the hospital Saturday, Chance released their “Are U Live” collaboration to celebrate.

“To celebrate and express a moment of gratefulness for Jeremih’s recovery on December 4, Chance and Jeremih started to liven up the Holiday season with the release of their Christmas track ‘Are U Live’ from the album (which was recorded, and the video was filmed, in 2017),” the project’s announcement read. “The special collection of songs is a gift to the fans celebrating the Holidays and New Year and will be available for the first-time ever across all streaming platforms.”
