Jason Lee to Join Amazon's Amp with New Radio Show 'The Daily Drop'

Amazon’s live radio app, Amp, has exciting news for music and entertainment enthusiasts. Yung Miami has confirmed she is bisexual. Speaking with Jason Lee for his Hollywood Unlocked show, the reveal comes after the host asked if the rapper would be open to a sexual encounter with Megan Thee Stallion.

During a “smash or pass” game, Yung Miami was posed with a question about Thee Stallion, revealing, “I’ma smash all day and tomorrow. She really can take me up and throw down.”

After revealing she had been sexual with a woman before, Yung Miami confirmed she was bisexual. “I always say that. I really do like girls. I don’t wanna be in a relationship with a girl.”

[LISTEN] Cardi B Details the Moment She and Offset Heard Takeoff Died: ‘It Was Terrible’

Cardi B is opening up further about Offset’s condition following the death of Takeoff. Speaking with Jason Lee, Cardi revealed the moment she and Offset found out about Takeoff’s death.

“We were in bed. We were supposed to go to LaLa’s party in New York, and my daughter threw up all over my costume,” Cardi revealed. “Halloween was over ’cause it was just so much throw-up on the custome and I ain’t have nothing to wear.

“So we just fell asleep, and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing. Offset picked up the phone and he was just like, ‘No!’ He’s screaming and screaming. He’s screaming like, ‘No! No! No! No!’

“He’s like, ‘TakeOff is dead.’ I smacked him and said, ‘Don’t say that!’ And then he’s just like screaming and throwing things, throwing up, running all over. And I was so scared, I was crying so much. It was terrible.”

In Dec. 2022, Offset opened up to his followers about dealing with Takeoff’s death. Over the weekend, Offset stated he was “in a dark place.”

Ahead of that moment, Cardi B revealed the household struggle of keeping her husband, Offset, happy following the death of fellow Migos member Takeoff. Cardi hit Twitter and delivered a message via Twitter voice notes.

“It has been a couple of weeks, and I feel like a lot of people are starting to feel a little bit comfortable with trying to be funny, trying to say slick shit. I know that y’all been seeing my InstaStories and y’all see Offset in and out on my Stories. You know, we’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.

I feel like if I talk about the incident so desensitized, I feel like if we talk about how we really feel or what muthafuckas really been going through, y’all will start saying, ‘Oh, sympathy.’ And we don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case. But no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy.

Trying to make him crack a smile, seeing him randomly cry, see him trying to distract his mind completely, schedules been changing, trying to keep up with work after everything that he’s been going through these past couple of weeks. We not in the mood to be fucking playing around with y’all, deadass. I will deadass kill y’all. Stop fucking playing.”

Ye Reopens Donda Academy Less Than 24 Hours After Closure, Asks 50 Cent to Help Expansion in Houston

Kanye West has reversed course on the closure of DONDA Academy in California and is looking to the help of 50 Cent to open a Houston branch.

On Wednesday, in an email intercepted by Hollywood Unlocked, the Academy team thanked the families of students for their support.

“Dear Donda Academy Families- we hope this email finds you well. First we would like to express our gratitude for the community of families and scholars that Donda Academy brought together. However, at the direction of our Founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately. Thursday, October 27th. THERE IS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.”

Hollywood Unlocked owner Jason Lee, who once doubled as Ye’s Head of Media and Partnerships, was then targeted by the rapper after he posted the private message.

“JASON LEE,” Ye wrote. “Here’s the clout you’re looking for. My school is being shut down. You wanna help or hurt.”

Ye and his team doubled back on the families of his students and let them know the school is already reopened.

“Join us tomorrow morning in worship for the return of Donda Academy,” the message reads. “With the help of our parents and community, we are back and returning with a vengeance!

“The children of Donda are going to change the world.”

Back on Instagram, Kanye West called on his former foe 50 Cent for help in opening more schools. “We got Donda school designs we need to build with 50 in Houston,” Ye wrote.

Kanye West’s DONDA Academy is reportedly shutting down for the rest of the year. In an email intercepted by Hollywood Unlocked, the Academy team thanks the families of students for their support.

Earlier this month, Jason Lee parted ways with Ye after he debuted the “White Lives Matter” t-shirt. Jason Lee wrote:

“I love Ye as a person, and I support free speech. But this is gaslighting black people and empowering white supremacy.

Not sure if he has any friends left to tell him but this is utterly disappointing.

I’m going to exercise free speech and say, nobody black has ever said that white lives don’t matter. But when black people do this it just screams the need for white validation.

Not to mention, adding Candace Owens to this photo is beyond reprehensible. I understand he believes in her right to free speech but her speech is typically embedded in self hate, a determination to promote white supremacy, and she lacks integrity.

This is sad.”

Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked was spotted with Wendy Williams at Cardi B’s Boom Boom Met Gala After-Party in New York City on Monday, May 2nd.

Wendy Williams was at the Standard Hotel in New York City for a Met Gala After-Party after being away from the public for over a year due to health difficulties.

“Wendy is better than ever and I’m confident she’s returning to TV,” said Jason Lee.

In February, TheJasmineBrand noted Fox Soul’s Al Reynolds speaking on a forthcoming multi-million dollar podcast deal for Williams, citing it as “word on the streets,” emphasizing the credibility of the murmurs by stating “these are the deep deep streets.”

He added, “Now, we know that Spotify gave Joe Rogan $100 million. Everybody know that you heard it first right here on ‘Fox Soul,’ that I think that Wendy Williams is up to something and that’s why she’s not posting or anything. I think this is a lead-up to a bigger announcement that we’re going to see coming down the pipe on her newfound home.”

In March, Jason Lee was hired as YE’s New Media Manager, placing the Hollywood Unlocked owner is now in charge of YE’s public image and broker deals.

Radio host Jason Lee isn’t here for getting his name dragged. The hip-hop personality has stepped forward to speak out on having shots fired his way in the suddenly personal feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Lee went to Instagram Monday (October 29) and appeared to side with Cardi after getting ripped on Nicki’s Queen Radio show over alleged allegiance.

I’m called “fake” every day by the barbz terrorist group. Here’s the crazy part – I WAS A NICKI FAN! Here’s where nicki got mad. On one of my shows I said @karencivil used to call me (and all the other blogs) and ask us to post positive photos of nicki. No shade, it was her job. Nicki Minaj Allegedly Told Future He Couldn’t Work with Cardi B

By now you have heard Cardi B’s standout album Invasion of Privacy. Ahead of its release the Migos featured single “Drip” hit the web, however, new reports state Cardi’s husband Offset, along with Quavo and Takeoff were not on the original version, Future was.

Jason Lee from Hollywood Unlocked shared the original song featured Future but he did not appear on the track due to Nicki Minaj. The rumor states the Queen creator told the Beast Mode 2 rapper that he had to choose to be on that song or not be included on the forthcoming tour, that has since been canceled.

As far as timeline, the NickiHndrxx tour was scheduled to kick off in September of 2018 but was originally announced in June. Cardi’s album was released on April 5 of this year, with the single in question being released days before. While the timelines are close there is not enough evidence to confirm the claims presented by Jason Lee. If true, it only is another dose of gas to the fire that has surrounded the two.
