Toxicology Report Shows Bobbi Kristina’s Fiancé Nick Gordon Overdosed On Heroin

The tragic story of Bobbi Kristina continues to get even more unfortunate. Nick Gordon’s cause of death has been confirmed and it is what a lot of thought it was.

Page Six is reporting that the autopsy on Nick Gordon has been finalized and the results point to substance abuse. TMZ states that he died from overdose of heroin. According to the documentation he was found unresponsive on New Years Day with some sort of black fluid coming from his mouth at a hotel in Maitland, Florida. As Thirty Mile Zone states that “black discharge is sometimes related to a foam cone that comes out of the mouth and nostrils after an opioid OD”.

This announcement brings the Bobbi Kristina narrative to a stranger closure albeit her life was lost in the process. In 2015 Whitney Houston’s daughter died from lobar pneumonia after being in a coma for nearly six months. That January Gordon and another friend found her face down in a bathtub in her home in Alpharetta, Georgia. In a fate of what has to be twisted irony her mother died in a similar fashion in 2018 at the Beverley Hills Hilton hotel. Surprisingly hundred of celebrities, performers, executives and music insiders continued to party at the same property while her body was being examined by medical professionals.

Gordon was found legally responsible for her untimely passing. In turn Brown’s family won a ruling that Nick would pay them 36 million dollars in a wrongful death case. You can hear the 911 call below.

Ex-NYPD Sergeant Pleads Guilty To Moving Drugs For Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Bloods Crew

Tekashi 6ix9ine is less than 24 hours away from learning whether or not his loose lips were enough to spare him from finding himself in Davy Jones’ locker for an extended period of time. But the ripple effects of his ship sinking ways continue to be felt across the board, and the latest person to go down with the Trey Nine Bloods gang raised a lot of eyebrows.

According to the New York Daily News, Ex-NYPD sergeant Arlicia Robinson has recently pleaded guilty moving “manteca” (Spanish slang word for heroin) for Nine Trey Blood shot-caller in New York and is facing up to six years in prison for her role in their drug operation.

Though she was friends with the rainbow-haired rapper, Robinson was actually was outed by Nine Trey “five-star general” Kristian Cruz while he was on the stand and who revealed he hired her to move product for the gang because he felt “she would draw less attention from authorities.”

During a plea hearing last month, Robinson, 39, admitted she’d moved a package of at least 100 grams of heroin from the Bronx to Manhattan on July 25, 2018.

“I carried the package to a car and rode in the car to help deliver the package,” Robinson said, according to a court transcript that was withdrawn from public records after two days. “I know what I did was wrong and I’m very sorry.”

Aside from doing jail time, Robinson also faces a fine that can go anywhere from $20,000 to $5 million. We doubt she made millions moving 100 grams of smack but maybe the gang was feeling generous at the time. You never know.

Unfortunately for Robinson, the feds were onto her moves and set her up in a “reverse sting” according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Sebastian Swett.

“The government would have video surveillance of the defendant participating in this drug transaction,” Swett explained.

“The entire setup was surveilled and done at law enforcement’s control and direction.”

Robinson was one of the many people who got indicted alongside Tekashi on November 19, 2018. Now that she’s pleaded guilty we’ll have to wait and see how the court decides to punish her and whether or not she’ll have an outstanding debt to pay off for the foreseeable future.

Quincy Jones Says Ray Charles Got Him Hooked On Heroin, Copped From Malcolm X

Quincy Jones is spilling all types of tea this year. He is now claiming Ray Charles is the reason he had issues with heroin.

As HipHopDX notes the iconic producer is making his promotional rounds for his upcoming Netflix documentary Quincy. He recently made an appearance on the Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. While he discussed the movie and a host of other points of his storied career, one particular story is raising eyebrows.

When talking through his early days as a musician he noted how the late great Ray Charles introduced him to the white girl. “After we finished at the Washington Social Club and a couple of other ones, we’d all go down to Jackson Street to the Elks Club. That’s where all the bebop jam sessions were. Nobody got paid. We didn’t give a damn” he explained. “When they finished playing they’d go over in the corner and they had it on their thumb. I just snuck in the line and got me a little hit.”

Jones added how if he had not gotten injured he would have probably been strung out for the majority of his life. “The mistakes are what help you grow and learn,” he reminisced. “That was a big one. [If I hadn’t fallen.] I would have been in New York, where I was hanging out with [jazz musician] Charlie Parker. I would have been a junkie forever. Bird was always high. Thank God we did it and got it over with.”

The confession became even more fascinating when he detailed that he would buy his drugs in Harlem from a hustler named Detroit Red; the man who would later become Malcolm X.

Quincy is available now on Netflix. You can listen to the podcast here; the drug talk starts at the 26 minute mark.

Quincy Jones Claims Ray Charles Got Him Addicted to Heroin at 15

Quincy Jones made headlines recently when he did a rare interview with Vulture and spilled all the tea. Jones was busy again on Wednesday, when he sat down with Scott Feinberg for the most recent episode of the Awards Chatter podcast. In a wide-ranging interview, the legendary musician, composer and producer revealed that Ray Charles got him hooked on heroin when he was 15.

Jones, who was there to talk about his upcoming biopic, Quincy, said that he met Charles in Seattle when they were teenagers. Noting that drug use “goes with bebop,” Jones explained how he first encountered heroin.

“He got me hooked for five months at 15,” he said before laying out a typical night for Seattle’s soon-to-be superstar musicians. “After we finished at the Washington Social Club and a couple of other ones, we’d all go down to Jackson Street to the Elks Club. That’s where all the bebop jam sessions were. Nobody got paid. We didn’t give a damn.”

“When they finished playing they’d go over in the corner and they had it on their thumb,” he continued. “I just snuck in the line and got me a little hit.”

Jones included that when the band he played with made trips to New York, they purchased their heroin from a Harlem hustler named Detroit Red, also called Malcolm X.

While returning home one evening, he fell down five flights of stairs. Quincy Jones lost the urge to use while he was recovering and the time spent laid up kept him away from some of jazz’s most notorious drug abusers.

“The mistakes are what help you grow and learn,” he said. [If I hadn’t fallen.] I would have been in New York, where I was hanging out with Charlie Parker. I would have been a junkie forever. Bird was always high. Thank god we did it and got it over with.”

Listen to the whole interview over at The Hollywood Reporter.
