Romeo Miller Leaves ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop’ Cast

If you watch Growing Up Hip-Hop, then you have seen Romeo Miller on life throughout the show. Usually, Miller’s storyline involves the potential romance between him and his ex-girlfriend, Angela Simmons. However, this season, the two aren’t friends.

Romeo has been apart of the GHH cast since its premiere in 2016. He’s also an executive producer of the show. According to theJASMINEBRAND, sources believe that Miller and his father, Master P, haven’t been able to see eye to eye with production lately.

“Romeo nor his father (Master P) would never go against their morals for money for any network,” the source claimed. “He hasn’t been on much of this season and is focusing on his many businesses, career and his love life with new girlfriend. Romeo has nothing against the cast, they’re just growing apart and he rather explore the truth, not a fake love triangle that the network is dragging out. ”

Romeo hasn’t publically announced his departure from the show, however, the show has been removed from his list of projects in his Instagram bio.

Damon “Dame” Dash Suing We TV Over Allowing Son To Drink Liquor

WE tv Hosts Exclusive Premiere For Hip Hop Thursdays

Damon “Dame” Dash has launched a lawsuit against the We TV network because he claims they allowed his son, Damon “Boogie” Dash to drink alcohol on the Growing Up Hip Hop show to help increase ratings. The former Roc-A-Fella executive says that We TV verbally agreed to not give Boogie Dash alcohol but says the network pushed it on the younger Dash anyway.

TMZ
reports that Dash, 48, filed paperwork alleging that We TV fed his 29-year-old son booze in an effort to jazz up the show. The outlet says that the family suffered emotional distress because of the network giving Boogie access to drinks. Dash also says We TV also owes him money for work he performed for Growing Up Hip Hop.

Dash shared in the filings that there is a court order to direct any money earned from We TV to his creditors, but says We TV is actually keeping the cash away from him for unknown reasons. In the papers, Dash wants whatever owed monies to go to his company, Poppington.

Since late last year, Dash has been embroiled in a number of financial struggles, including being unable to pay a $2,400 debt last November. He also owes back child support in the hundreds of thousands. The women seeking the back support, Rachel Roy and Cindy Morales, are looking to take what’s owed to them from the $5 million settlement between director Lee Daniels and Dash. Roy and Morales launched a lawsuit last year to obtain the owed child support payments.

Dame Dash Sues WeTV For Not Keeping His Son Sober On ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’

Former Roc-A-Fella executive claims that WeTV purposely kept his son inebriated against his will in order to boost their ratings on their popular reality show Growing Up Hip Hop.

According to a lawsuit obtained exclusively by TMZ, Damon Dash Sr. alleges that his son, Damon “Boogie” Dash Jr., was required to drink alcohol during his appearance on the show to increase viewership, even though they gave a verbal agreement that they’s keep the younger Dash sober.

Dash says that his family suffered “emotional distress” due to Boogie’s public drunkenness on the show, according to the suit.

R. Kelly’s Daughter Won’t Talk About Her Dad On ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta’

R. Kelly back in court in fight over child support payments

Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty

Little discussed in the aftermath of R. Kelly’s empire crumbling around him is what his children might be enduring as a result. Joanna Kelly, who performs under the name Buku Abi, will be joining the cast of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta and has no plans to discuss her famous father.

The Blast reports:

Sources connected to the WE tv show tell The Blast Drea Kelly did not ask for permission, or even inform her ex-husband that their family would be participating on the newest season of “Growing Up Hip Hop.” Two of the three children are over the age of 18, but we’re told there is zero communication between Drea and Kelly, so she never ran anything by him.

Furthermore, sources close to Drea scoffed at the notion she would seek out Kelly’s blessing for any business opportunities after it took jail time to get him to pay up on back child support.

We’re told all three of Kelly’s children, including Joann, Jay and Robert Jr., will be featured on the show. However, Joann’s aspiring singing career will be the focal point.

We’re told Joann, who performs under the name Buku Abi, was adamant regarding “not talking” about her controversial father, as he is not someone actively involved in her life. The R&B singer actually shared a birthday message for her this week, but we’re told the two have still not spoken.

Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta makes its season three premiere this summer.

Twin Beef: Lil Mama Threatens To Bless Bow Wow With The Fade [Video]

Source: Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto Pre Fight Party held at MGM Grand Studio 1 at MGM Grand Garden Arena – Arrivals Featuring: Shad Moss, Bow Wow Where: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States When: 12 Sep 2015 Credit: DJDM/WENN.com

Bow Wow is talking crazy again but what else is new. This time Lil Mama was his target but she wasn’t having any of it.

As Vibe reports the child rapper turned actor turned master of struggle made his Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta cast mate look like an easy slide. This came about as Mr. Moss offered to set the Harlem native on a blind date. While she agreed to meet his friend she asked him to come up to New York with her in return.

For whatever reason he thought the invite was of a romantic nature and alluded to her as having a promiscuous past. Naturally this got back to Lil Mama and she addressed him accordingly via Instagram videos.

“I want to start this off just by saying you played yourself, kid. Bow Wow, you know, that in all the years that I’ve ever known you, you have never known a n****r to f**k me in a week. So to even give BT advice like ‘Oh y’all gonna be f**king in a week.’ you’re being a clown.”

She went on to make clear that her interest of him flying up to the Big Apple was truly out of support. “I was trying to bring you around some real n****s. You want to commit suicide one day. You’re going crazy here. You’re going crazy there. I come from a grounded environment that I was trying to bring you to. We’re doing a TV show. We’re creating content. You are far from the type of man that I could see myself being with, sleeping with or anything of that nature.”

In the final clip, she addressed the hearsay about one of his female friends possibly defending his honor. “There are so many things that I could address about this show, but I’m not going to let everything pull my attention. Y’all could believe what y’all want to believe…before we start talking about a female beating my ass or anything like that let’s just be clear: I will smack the sh*t out of you. Period!

As expected Bow Wow has bypassed trying to see the error of his ways and did what he does best. Trolling.

Fatherless Child: Bow Wow Says He Don’t Need JD No More!

Growing up Hip-Hop is more than just a show for some cast members. For an artist like Bow Wow it is real AF. Right before the rap community’s eyes, we’ve see him go through some of life’s most embarrassing growing pains. Literally, we all cringed when he started getting facial hair and talking stripper talk. Yes. Yes. Yes. We know he is from the “A” and e’ryone from the “A” talks stripper talk. But who really could do the comfortable switch from “Scream Tour Bow” to “Shad Moss?”  Even comedians like Steve Harvey joked about him during those years, “How that little boy handling Ciara… that’s a whole lot of woman!” It was weird for everyone.

Everyone except for his musical father: Jermaine Dupri.

From the outside (and even as played out on the other season of Growing Up Hip-Hop), Jermaine was a bedrock for Bow Wow. Let’s keep it all the way funky, even though Bow got his initial co-sign from Death Row (and yes, we know Bow you were going to be signed to them, we saw you photoshop image into the infamous Vibe cover), it was not until he got down with SoSo Def that we cared. No really. It was a musical transference from the Kris Kross boys to you. All the love we had for them came to you (RIP  Chris Kelly) and that was thanks to JD’s magic.

So when we see tweets like this:

and like this…

and this…

then this…

You have to wonder if he this is a publicity stunt that coincides with his storyline on the show (don’t act like we ain’t seen stunts from him before) or if this young man has bumped his head and really is believing his own hype.

Let’s go with the first option.

We hope that someone pulls the chain on the pup. It seems like at 31 despite having a successful career as a rapper, actor and 106 & Park influencer (yes that counts), he is still trying to establish himself as a man… but perhaps having tantrums and biting the hand that fed you is not the way.

Look at Bow and JD over the years and tell us that you don’t agree.
