Eminem Names Jay-Z, Redman, Andre 3000 and More in Hip-Hop GOAT List

It takes a GOAT to know a GOAT right? Eminem was challenged by YouTuber No Life Shaq in his Direct Messages to answer who he thought was the best to touch the mic.

“I had to try with Em. I had to try with Em. Of course, Em not gonna respond,” Shaq said about the failed attempt to get Em to speak. “That one kinda hurt my heart a little bit because I wanted Em to say himself.”

But not so fast, Eminem found the video and gave his response on Twitter naming a host of rappers ranging from Jay-Z to Redman to Kendrick Lamar.

You can see his picks below.

GOAT & Los Angeles Lakers Star Kyle Kuzma Renew Partnership Deal

Back in October 2018, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma inked an exclusive partnership deal with online sneaker marketplace, GOAT. Almost 2 years later, he is re-upping on that partnership.

We back. @goat boyz 🐐

A post shared by Kyle Kuzma (@kuz) on

Kyle Kuza already has a 5-year endorsement deal with Puma, reportedly worth over $20 million, to rock their footwear on the court, but that won’t stop him from showcasing exclusive drip walking the NBA’s version of the runway, the arena tunnel. As part of his renewed deal with GOAT, he not only will rock rare kicks provided by the online sneaker retailer but also apparel and accessories from emerging, contemporary, and luxury brands that are sold on the site as well.

GOAT’s partnership with Kuzma isn’t the company’s only NBA related agreement. Back in November, last year, the company announced it secured a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. As part of the exclusive partnership with the NBA franchise, GOAT provided signage, content, and much more for both the home and visiting teams. Of course, the company will still focus on the player’s drip (good or bad) as they hit the arrival tunnel.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the  deal with the Nets, GOAT’s Chief Business Officer, Sen Sugano explained:

“We recently expanded beyond sneakers to offer apparel and accessories from the world’s leading contemporary and luxury brands. Moving beyond sneakers, we’re now the global platform for style, and our ultimate goal is to help individuals discover products that embrace who they are. We’re excited about the opportunity to partner with the Nets to showcase each player’s unique style.”

We fully expect more deals between GOAT and other athletes and NBA teams in the future.

GOAT, the online sneaker marketplace, is expanding. Users will now be able to purchase the latest drip to match kicks they buy on the app.

Yesterday (Oct.21), GOAT announced it’s expansion beyond sneakers and added apparel and accessories from high-fashion staples such as YSL, Gucci, Off White, Palm Whites, plus emerging brands.

Speaking on the expansion, Eddy Lu, co-founder, and CEO of GOAT Group added:

“GOAT has always served a community of individuals aspiring to be the greatest. When we first launched GOAT, we focused only on sneakers to ensure we provided the best experience for our customers. Paramount to that was our authentication, product depth, and discovery journey. Without these pillars, we would not be able to offer the experience we believe is necessary for someone to find a style that embraces their uniqueness and self-expression.”

GOAT is also working closely with retailers and boutiques around the world to ensure it can provide clothing to users at a retail price. Along with the brands mentioned above, GOAT has added over 50 new brands to its product catalog and aims to add more before the end of the year.

Daishin Sugano, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of GOAT Group, spoke on the goals of the expansion stating:

“We’re only in the infant stages of apparel on GOAT. We’re starting with the primary market, but we have plans for resale expansion. We believe in this immense opportunity and are optimally positioned to work with the best brands to tell their stories from the past, present, and future.”

Right now, you will only be able to access the apparel expansion via GOAT’s iOS and Android App. The company promises to roll out the feature to GOAT.com and its WeChat Mini Program in China soon. This latest news follows the update to the app allowing users to try on rare sneakers virtually before buying them.

GOAT’s Latest Update Allows You To Try On Sneakers Virtually Before Buying Them

Goat Launches In China

Source: GOAT

This definitely sounds like a game-changer in the online sneaker purchasing game. Online sneaker marketplace, GOAT, unveiled its latest update that will allow users to try on expensive and exclusive kicks virtually.

GOAT, which bills itself as the premier online destination for authentic and very rare sneakers, is giving its users a very cool opportunity. If you ever wanted to know what a pair of YEEZY’s or Jordan 1’s look like on your feet without even having to break the bank, here is your chance.

The new AR (Augmented Reality) feature, which is still in its earliest phase, will allow you to virtually “try-on” the rare and high-priced sneakers. All you need is your smartphone’s camera. GOAT previewed its latest update via its Instagram accounts stories. This isn’t the first time the online sneaker marketplace utilized AR. GOAT used the technology to unveil the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s before the officially launched.

This news follows GOAT announcing making a version of the app exclusively for the Chinese sneaker market. Also, traditional sneaker retailers see the potential in the online sneaker marketplace as well. Just recently, Foot Locker invested $100 million in GOAT.

Kyle Kuzma also had an ambassador partnership with GOAT, where he would rock “rare and highly-coveted Nike sneakers.” That more than likely has come to an end with the Lakers’ star signing a 5-year $20 million deal with Puma. It looks like GOAT is making a strong case to own the online sneaker marketplace, and they are making all of the right moves.

Scarface Says He Is The GOAT MC & Explains Why

Last month, Justin “The Company Man” Hunte published a special video breaking down his personal “Top 5, dead or alive MCs” list. In the visual essay, the prominent video personality, host, and member of the Ambrosia For Heads team explains his choices, which he asserts are purely music-based.

“These five artists all have the highest replay-value for me. All represent what I love most about the art of MC’ing. Artists, students, fans ask me all the time, what do I deem most important when it comes to music? What do I look for in rappers? The answer: voice and imagination—how someone sounds when they find a different way to say something that’s been said a million times throughout history. These five artists exemplify those two qualities.”

Who Are The Top 5 MCs Of All-Time? Allen Iverson Has The Answer.

Hunte explains the following ranked list:

#5: Tupac Shakur
#4: JAY-Z
#3: Kendrick Lamar
#2: Lupe Fiasco
#1: Andre 3000

This week’s episode is a roundup responding to fans. In the video, available for all to view at AFH TV, Justin Hunte also crosses paths with the MC he says he puts at #6: Scarface. At an event, Brad Jordan asks the host (who made an entire 2017 TBD episode praising the Geto Boys member as a G.O.A.T.-worthy MC) about his rankings.

Last Of A Dying Breed: Why Scarface Is The Greatest MC Of All Time (Video)

At the 7:00 mark, Scarface says, “When you put me in that class, I’m not offended. But after 30 years, 30, 30, and I sold a few million records too—and I’m always f*ckin’ consistent. Not once have I done anything outside of what I was supposed to do. Is that right?”

“100%,” responds Hunte.

“So I’ma move me from #6 to #1,” asserts the Houston, Texas who also produces, DJs, and plays guitar.

Not one to debate a legend on his resume, Hunte replies, “I’m wit’ it.”

Scarface continues, “I’m talking about consistency, my ni**a. The ni**a mean. Alright?” Even at planting his flag at #1, Scarface shows love to a peer. “And my favorite rapper’s Nas. Again, the ni**a mean, like mean!

Scarface and Nas worked together on 1997’s “East Coast / West Coast Killaz,” 1999’s “Favor For A Favor,” 2002’s “In Between Us,” 2009’s “Yacht Music,” 2012’s “Hip Hop,” and 2015’s “Do What I Do.”

In 2018, Facemob worked with Awar, Parliament, and Killa Kyleon.

The full TBD episode can be watched on AFH TV. We are currently offering free 30-day trials.

LeBron James Considers Himself The GOAT After 2016 Chip Win, NBA Twitter Debates

Los Angeles premiere of 'Smallfoot'

Source: Apega/WENN.com / WENN

LeBron James is still very much an active player in the NBA and is currently doing his best to corral a young Los Angeles Lakers team to greatness. In a recent chat, the future Hall of Fame star declared himself the greatest to ever play the game as a result of his championship win with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

During a recent airing of his docu-series More Than An Athlete on ESPN+, James harkened back to his Cleveland days where his team then faced off against the talent-stacked Golden State Warriors. The Cavaliers, with James leading the charge, became the first team to come from behind after being 3-0 to win it all in epic fashion. For that feat, James, who is normally humble about such matters, allowed himself a moment to gloat and bask in his basketball glory.

It’s tough to argue considering James’ numbers and the fact that in his 16th year in the NBA, he’s still very much a threat on the court.

As one can imagine, NBA and basketball Twitter had their own thoughts about James’ assertion, and we’ve collected the bulk of those responses below.

Lil Wayne Celebrates His 36th Birthday And ‘Tha Carter V’ In L.A.

Grammy Award winning artist Lil Wayne celebrated his 36th birthday and the release of his much anticipated Tha Carter V last night at Hubble Studios in Los Angeles.

The party, nicknamed “Wayne’s World”, was a long awaited celebration and featured many of the rapper’s favorite things…traditional New Orleans food (as catered by Trap Kitchen), candy and marihuana bar while a skate ramp outside played host to tricks and ollies from skateboarders all night. Just when you that was all, the party also featured two real life goats to pay home to our own Greatest of All Time.

Custom Bumbu cocktails were flowing all night as special guests arrived to wish Wayne a very happy birthday. Guests included many of Wayne’s family and close friends including Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Timbaland, Ray J (who gifted Wayne a personalized scooter), Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd, Trippie Redd, Shaggy, Trey Songz, Tiffany Haddish, Draya Michelle and more!
