Everyday Tears: DJ Akademiks Is Tired Of Getting Threatened By Rappers [Video]

The most hated man in Hip-Hop is over the threats on his well being. DJ Akademiks is now saying that rappers talking greasy about him need more people.

As spotted on Hot New Hip Hop the polarizing media personality recently took to his very awkward Twitch gaming stream to address all the promises of beat downs that never happened. “At some point we got to start calling these n*ggas out for making threats and nothing happens. It’s not on me it’s on ya’ll. They been saying this for years.”

In his mind, he went on to expose what’s really going on with all the tough talk. “In reality people a rapper who gets on a [Instagram] Live and tells you they going to do something or is most likely capping bro. Like it’s like literally going to the police station and saying ‘I’m going to smack a n*gga’”.

Over the years the Everyday Struggle host has had a long history of awkward moments and online tension with several rappers. In 2017 he got into a heated exchange with Vic Mensa over his unsympathetic coverage of the gun violence in Chicago. Things got so bad Mensa called him a b*tch to his face.

Also his former co-host Joe Budden put him on blast saying “Akademiks is one of the biggest pussies I’ve ever seen in my entire life. He should never comment on anything that has to do with physicality.”

We have no clue what Soulja Boy and his Gucci headband is on a press run for, but these interviews are becoming instant classics. Thursday (January 17) Big Draco stopped by Complex’s debate show Everyday Struggle, and it was… a struggle a hilarious one at that.

Soulja while in NYC has been making his rounds on this press tour, and his interviews have been the talk of Twitter for the entire week. If you thought he was finished after his insanely entertaining Breakfast Club interview, you were sadly mistaken. King Soulja had some more antics up his sleeve for the Everyday Struggle trio.

The nearly 54-minute interview quickly spiraled out of control. From picking apart Soulja’s Breakfast Club interview, apologizing and in the same breath clowning DJ Akademiks, expressing sorrow for incarcerated troll rapper Tekashi69 then accusing him of stealing his trolling tactics and almost getting g-checked by Wayno it was an entertaining mess.

Joe Budden Had The Biggest Come Up In A Year He Was Supposed To Struggle

It was one year ago this week that Joe Budden exited the show Everyday Struggle. On December 18, 2017, DJ Whoo Kid unceremoniously took Budden’s seat on the Complex weekday talk series alongside co-hosts Nadeska Alexis and DJ Akademiks. The guest known best as a G-Unit DJ and radio personality told viewers that Joe was tending to a newborn baby, which was certainly true. However, the rapper never returned to his chair to the program he had given several “fire in the stadium” moments throughout that year. Highlights included exchanges with Migos, Lil Yachty, and and some controversial words about previous collaborator and onetime employer, Eminem. The narratives and storylines pulled Everyday Struggle from YouTube and put them on gossip shows, aggregated it across the web, and suddenly awakened the mainstream to a new show on the block.

As re-negotiations reportedly reached a stalemate, the retired MC-turned-media man marked his exit by unpacking the laundry on his Joe Budden Podcast. Joe said he wanted a long-term contract, a significant raise, or Complex equity for the show he had piloted in its debut season. Joe Budden Claims He Did Not Run Away From Offset, Had To Use Bathroom [Video]

As Joe Budden continues his journey as a media personality he has already ruffled some feathers in Hip-Hop. You can add Offset to the short list.

A couple of weeks ago the State Of The Culture host offered his two cents on Cardi B’s recent run in turned shoe throwing incident with Nicki Minaj. Naturally his critique did not sit well with her husband. Last week the Migos member claimed he bumped into the “Pump It Up” rapper and Budden took off running. He detailed the interaction or lack there of in the comments section of a Shade Room post.

“I watched ya show u a grown ass n*gga speaking on women I seen u in Barnes and u ran like I was gone do sum to you lol. U a hoe ass N***a soon u get touched u gone be police.”

Considering Budden has a long history of wanting all the smoke the accusations made a lot of noise on the internet. Joey made sure to address the alleged backsliding on his show. On the last episode of The Joe Budden Podcast the New Jersey native detailed his version of events.

“I don’t know why I still think I’m the guy that can hold a piss. He saw me, I didn’t see him.” He went to confirm his stance on Bardi. “She is great and amazing and I want her to continue to be here. I don’t want to lose her to police, to jail, to hatin’ bi***es.
