Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill is really about that bike life. The hip-hop veteran has saluted the life and memory of late rider Dirt Bike Rell.

Last night, Meek Milly went to Instagram to remember Rell with footage of bikers gathered around in Philadelphia.

According to reports, hundreds of riders pulled through in Philly yesterday (October 14) to pay homage to Rell.

Philadelphia police say hundreds of dirt bike riders made their way across the city Sunday afternoon in memory of a young man well-known for his stunts who was gunned down four years ago. Sunday marked the fourth anniversary of the death of 23-year-old Kyrell Tyler, known as ‘Dirt Bike Rell.” Tyler was killed in Southwest Philadelphia in 2014. (6 ABC News)

During the four-year anniversary celebration, bikers rode through various areas of Philly.

More than 300 disrupted traffic around 3:15 p.m. on Girard Avenue at 34th Street. Police reported more than 300 bikers at Delaware Avenue and Reed Street in South Philadelphia. Hundreds more bikers riding and doing tricks apparently shut down traffic for a time along the Platt Bridge. (WLTX)

In 2014, Dirt Bike Rell lost his life to gun violence in South Philly.

Riders participating in the event told NBC10 it was meant as a way to remember Kyrell Tyler, known as ‘Dirt Bike Rell,’ a stunt rider who gained popularity on social media. Tyler was found inside a car shot several times in the head four years ago Sunday in Southwest Philadelphia. He later died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 23.
