Suge Knight Claims Deion Sanders Never Repaid $500K Invested In His Rap Career

suge

Former Deathrow Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight alleges Deion Sanders never paid him back the $500,000 he invested in Sanders’ once aspiring rap career.

Back in the 1990’s Coach Prime– like many sports superstars wanted to get into the hip hop arena.. Sanders allegedly reached out to Knight who was a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

“When Prime wanted to be a rapper, I spent over half a million dollars of my own money,” Knight told Nick Cannon in a jailhouse phone call that aired on his podcast, “The Daily Cannon.”

“I put guys in the studio, I paid [music producer] Dallas Austin, I did all these songs, did everything.

“Then one day he [Deion’s agent] came to me and said, ‘Well, Prime’s deal’s with Nike and Death Row is a Black-owned company, and we don’t really want to deal with a Black-owned company, even though you paid for everything. We signed to you, put us on the Interscope label brand.”

In 1994, Sanders signed with MC Hammer’s Bust It Records. In December of that year, he released his debut album Prime Time on Bust It Records/Capitol Records.

Sanders’ first single “Must Be The Money,” was his introduction into the music industry.

Deion Sanders Drops Surprise Gems To Keep A Woman Happy

Deion Sanders drops surprise gems and shares his advice he’s learned to keep his woman happy with Chad Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder on the season finale of I Am The Athlete Podcast

At the thirty-six minute mark Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson questions his mentor Deion “Prime Time” Sanders, “How do you keep a woman happy?” Sanders explained “You got to keep the main thing, the main thing.”

Well. No lies detected there.

He continued with “She’ll tell you what she wants, she’ll tell you what she needs and she’ll tell you how to treat her.” “You just got to pay attention to the signs.” “But sometimes we’re so busy being into who we are, we miss the visuals that she’s giving us.” “Like if a woman touches you on your shoulder, that means she wants to be touched on hers.” Adding, “A woman usually gives what she wants.”

Is Primetime speaking facts?

The season finale episode continued with more collegiate and professional sports talk. Then things get deep with Deion Sanders sharing personal moments. Fighting depression, and opening up about his lowest point, Coach Prime surprised with more dynamic and transparent conversation.

Pilar Sanders Happy But Denies Engagement To Houston Legend J. Prince

Pilar Sanders has definitely showed that you can’t keep a good woman down.

After a very public and tumultuous split from ex-husband NFL legend Deion Sanders, Pilar is understandably taking her time before jumping into a new marriage, but that didn’t stop fans from speculating that she and boyfriend J.Prince are engaged.

On Monday(Nov. 4, Pilar took to her Instagram to post pictures from the couples “Black Royalty” birthday soirée when fans noticed that Pilar was sporting a huge diamond ring on the finger usually reserved for engagement with the caption, “When you manifest the vision that others said was impossible … #blackroyalty👑.”

Fans quickly began to congratulate Sanders but before the champagne could toast, Pilar cleared up the confusion with a lengthy post letting fans know that when that time comes she would not announce the union via a shady post.

“Let me give u a clearer #pov your comments took me by surprise I must admit,” Pilar Sanders wrote. “And in the space of trying to figure out how my post saying “ When you manifest the vision that others said was impossible” Could be taken as me manifesting an engagement 🤷🏽‍♀️or even thinking it was impossible to be engaged 🤣😂 baffled me. Then I realized this in fact needed to be addressed and cleared. Thankh u to all of my well wishers, however,… I did not announce any engagement to @jprincerespect – I would never minimalize an engagement announcement to a mere subliminal post, no one paid attention to the ring in question not being on the ring finger of my left hand but my right. tho a #prettylittlething it is, it’s definitely not the engagement status.”

Deion Sanders Sues Over Missing Grand Piano, Damaged Memorabilia

Deion Sanders is currently in a legal tussle with some moving companies he claims damaged some priceless items along with losing a whole grand piano.

The Blast reports:

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sanders filed a lawsuit against North Texas Movers, Officer Interiors Group and Bekins A-1 Movers.

Sanders says he hired Bekins A-1 Movers to move his valuable contents — including priceless heirlooms and collectible items of both “significant intrinsic, personal value to Mr. Sanders” worth in excess of $1 million — from his Texas mansion to storage.

Sanders says he paid them handsomely to keep his “irreplaceable pieces” safe.

He says in November 2018, he learned that the facility where his property was stored had been sold off to a third-party company, named Office Interiors Group. Sanders went the following month to get answers and claims he saw his stuff was being improperly stored and claimed that some items were broken and that some crates were missing.

The outlet adds that Sanders believes his items were hauled off to another location and was put off the path by the company owners. After some haggling, Sanders gained access to the facility where he discovered some of his items were damaged and missing.

A judge granted a temporary restraining order against the company that bars them from moving any other items.

Sounds like the jig to us.

Deion Sanders Revisits Suicide Attempt In Autobiography Ahead of ESPN ’30 For 30′

ESPN '30 For 30' Doc Will Revisit Deion Sanders' Suicide Attempt

Deion ‘PrimeTime’ Sanders accomplished a lot of the goals all professional athletes strive for. But at one point in his life, the two-sport star was in a very dark place and tried to end it all. A new ESPN 30 For 30 documentary will touch on Sanders’ almost succumbing to the pressures of fame.

Sanders an NFL Hall-of-Famer and two time Superbowl champion on the outside was a charismatic figure on an off the field. He was living the life and the “Must Be The Money” rapper had it all but reveals in his autobiography Power, Money & Sex: How Success Almost Ruined My Life, it all of those things brought him to the brink of taking his own life.

The book was first released in the late ’90s but a new ESPN 30 For 30 documentary about Sanders airing January 31st,2019  will revisit the moment as reported by The Undefeated. The trouble began for the high-stepping cornerback during his first marriage to then-wife Carolyn Chambers back in 1997 who is the mother of his two children Deion Jr and Deiondra. Their union was hit a snag and propelling him to spiral downward with him attempting suicide.

“I was going through the trials and tribulations of life. I was pretty much running on fumes. I was empty, no peace, no joy. Losing hope with the progression of everything.”

Sanders tried to kill himself by driving his car off a cliff 30- to 40-feet down. He survived and after the life-changing experience gave his life to God.

“I finally just got on my knees and gave it all to the Lord. Slowly, but surely, I had to deal with my faith, deal with my strength. I had to get a lot of Word in so that I could fight off the enemy. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my faith. People argue about what faith is, and who Jesus is, but it works for me. I’m not going to sit here and argue about who is what, and what is what, I’m just going to say it works for me.”

We are looking forward to seeing the doc which will give us a closer look on Deion Sanders’ life while he a star in the NFL, and his attempt back in 1992 at playing in a pro-football game and MLB National League Championship game in the same day.
