MAGA Twitter Red-Faced Mad Over Jussie Smollett’s Charges Getting Dropped

Charges dropped against actor Jussie Smollett

Like clockwork, the tender little feelings of MAGA Twitter are on butt-hurt status after news that all charges against Jussie Smollett related to the alleged hate crime attack have been dropped. With the hashtag #JussieSmollettHoax, many are trying to call the whole matter an elaborate magic trick.

Led by the likes of Ann Coulter and other conservative-leaning types, the energy is looking a little different towards Smollett although none of this spice was present for Comrade Donald Trump. This comes after Robert Mueller’s case made its way to Attorney General William Barr, who blindly told the nation there isn’t a sign of any collusion between Trump and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

As one can imagine, the collective red-faced outrage of the thin-skinned Trumpians is only beginning to brew. We captured some of their overloud and incorrect chatter below.

Mom Of Chicago Teen Kenneka Jenkins Sues Hotel For $50M

A year after Kenneka Jenkins was found dead in hotel freezer, conspiracy theories abound

The mother of Kenneka Jenkins, a 19-year-old Chicago teen who was found dead inside a Crowne Plaza hotel freezer in 2017, is now seeking justice on behalf of her daughter to the tune of millions. Teresa Martin has filed a $50 million lawsuit against the hotel, who she says could have done more to prevent the tragedy.

TMZ reports:

Teresa Martin has filed suit on behalf of her late daughter’s estate against the Crowne Plaza Chicago-O’Hare Hotel for negligence, claiming there were several opportunities for the company and its staff to step in and help prevent Kenneka’s death last September … but failed to do so.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Teresa alleges that the hotel was made aware of Kenneka’s disappearance from a room where a party was being thrown shortly after she wandered off, and says she was assured by Crowne Plaza personnel that they’d check surveillance footage in an attempt to locate her right away. She says they completely screwed that up.

Teresa says the hotel staff either didn’t check the footage soon enough, or didn’t properly review it … because the 19-year-old could be seen clear as day stumbling into the kitchen in video later obtained and released by police who investigated her death.

She goes on to allege that Kenneka walked by several hotel staffers who didn’t help her, and that the freezer Kenneka walked into was easily accessible to the public. She also claims the freezer had a faded sticker on it that failed to instruct people on how to unlock the door.

Martin’s case may encounter difficulty as police concluded investigations into the matter without pressing charges or making arrests. The Crowne Plaza issued a statement in response to the lawsuit, putting the blame on the unnamed individuals who allegedly used a stolen credit card to book the room and host the party that Jenkins attended while also citing it will contest the suit.

Justice is rare when it comes to Black people and the law, but a judge in Florida put one in the win column for the brothers after tossing a pair of cops in the slammer. The officers framed a Black teenaged boy in the town of Biscayne by pinning a string of burglaries on him.

The Miami Herald reports:

By helping the feds make a case against a corrupt ex-Biscayne Park police chief, two convicted former officers were hoping to avoid prison time for their roles in framing a black teenager with a string of burglaries.

Instead, Charlie Dayoub and Raul Fernandez were handcuffed and led by U.S. Marshals into custody on Tuesday after U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore sentenced them to the maximum: one year in prison for the false arrests.

As family members cried in disbelief, Moore chastised federal prosecutors for agreeing to recommend eight months of home confinement for Dayoub and one year of probation for Fernandez based on their grand jury testimony and other assistance in helping target former Chief Raimundo Atesiano, who had pressured officers in the mostly white suburban town to pin property crimes on people of color. He pleaded guilty last month.

Judge Moore said that giving the officers a lighter sentence would be akin to a “slap on the wrist” and pushed back at the prosecution’s suggestion of granting leniency after the 16-year-old boy was pegged for the break-ins in 2013 under the direction of police leadership.

A series of robberies of the homes of several celebrities in the Los Angeles area has culminated in the arrest of four people linked with the string of break-ins. Among the stars whose homes were hit, Rihanna, Yaisel Puig, Viola Davis and more have been targeted in the spree.

KTLA reports:

Tyress Williams, 19, Tamaji Hall, 18, and Jahabi Daniels, 19, were booked on charges related to a break-in at the Woodland Hills home of NFL player Robert Woods the night of Sept. 27, LAPD Capt. Lillian Carranza said at a news conference.

The 18-year-old’s mother, 34-year-old Ashley Hall, was also arrested during a search warrant at her residence, Carranza said. Officers booked her on suspicion of grand theft in association with stolen property, including a vehicle and firearms, the captain added.

Authorities only provided the spelling for Williams’ name. According to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office, Williams faced four felony counts of first-degree residential burglary.

In addition to Woods’ residence, Williams allegedly burglarized a home owned by a singer named Tota Matthieu on Aug. 24, Dodger player Yasiel Puig on Sept. 18 and Rihanna on Sept. 25.

Matt Damon, LeBron James, and more were on the crew’s hit list. The outlet reports that the gang of thieves would check social media to see when stars were out of town then planned their moves.
