T.I. to Teach ‘Business Of Trap Music’ at Clark Atlanta University This Fall

T.I. Apologizes for Hymen Comments About Deyjah Harris

According to a confirmed report from Billboard, Atlanta rap icon T.I. will be teaching a class about the financial structure of trap music.

It may sound unreal, but Mr. Harris is slated to begin teaching the class this fall at famed HBCU Clark Atlanta University along with Dr. Melva K. Williams. The class reportedly will teach the financial foundation as well as the history of the popular sub-genre that has exploded into mainstream music.

When speaking about his new secondary education gig, T.I. said, “I’m excited to share my experiences and whatever resources or information I have that can be an asset for the future. Drugs have existed for as long as humans have been on earth and music has existed for quite some time as well. The commonality that threads the two together is what makes trap music a dominant force in culture today.”

Evidence Proves Jordyn Jones Attempted to Cover Up Rape and Murder of Alexis Crawford

Jordyn Jones was denied bond when she posed as a flight risk after killing her roommate, Alexis Crawford, with her boyfriend, Barron Brantley.

The former Clark Atlanta Student withdrew from school the day after she committed murder and planned to move back to Michigan with her parents.

Jones and Brantley are both 21-years-old and were charged with felony murder in Atlanta Georgia.

A rape kit was given to Crawford after she reported Brantley for unwanted kissing and touching days before her family reported her missing. Prosecutors said that Brantley’s semen was found inside of Crawford and Jones told the slain student’s family that no DNA was found.

After the report was filed, Jones foolishly allowed Brantley to secretly stay in her room without Crawford’s knowledge. The night of Crawford’s death, on Halloween, she saw Brantley leaving Jones’ room and the two ladies got into a physical altercation before he choked her to death. According to Detective Michael Young of the Atlanta Police Department, Brantley told authorities that “she was struggling to breathe and had the sound of agony.” Jones proceeded to put a plastic bag over her head.

The couple put Alexis’ body in a bin and cleaned the blood from the living room. But they didn’t do that good of a job because when investigators searched the apartment they sprayed luminol and found blood in at least six different places in the living room.

Surveillance footage from that day shows the Bonnie and Clyde wannabes driving Jones’ car to a door that leads to the apartment in the parking lot. Young believes they loaded Crawford’s body during that time period.

Jones didn’t confess to the murder until authorities put the pressure on her. She then led them to Crawford’s body and was accompanied by her father.

Fulton County Judge Todd Ashley has reason to find probable cause and move forward with murder, aggravated assault and concealing death charges against Brantley thanks to Young’s testimony.

Brantley’s next court appearance is scheduled for January 10.

Tragic Shooting of Four Black College Students During Back To School Party in The Atlanta University Center

The Atlanta University Center (AUC) is a collective of some of the top historically Black colleges and universities in the world. It is actually the largest and the oldest academic consortium of HBCUs. Prestigious schools such as Spelman and Morehouse, who boast as alum Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Stacey Abrams and Black venture capitalist, Verdun Perry, are but two of the schools counted in this grouping of higher learning. And each year, to celebrate the new freshman students and to promote AUC unity, the schools host a “Back-To-School” block party. All of the schools’ new freshman are encouraged to attend.

This year was no exception. On Tuesday night, according to ABC News, at least four people were wounded after a shooting by an unidentified gunman broke out. He shot into the crowd outside of Robert W. Woodruff Library- across from the old Stegals- where about 200 party revelers responded in horror.

Little is known about the shooting, but reports from the Atlanta police say that the gunshots started around 10:30 p.m. Why? Two groups got into an argument.

Four young women were hit. Sources say that two of the women were from Clark Atlanta University (ages 18 and 19) and two were from Spelman College (ages 17 and 18). It is believed that none of the young ladies were a part of the argument, nor were they intended to be shot. While the young ladies have filed reports and have received medical attention, no arrest have been made.

Atlanta police did release a video on Wednesday released of the suspected gunman. In the video you see him wearing a white T-shirt, gray sweat pants, a tan Gucci hat and gray New Balance sneakers.
