Jim Jones Shows That Chrissy Lampkin & Rihanna Weren’t Beefing At Roc Nation Brunch

Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

More times than not social media will take a positive moment and turn it negative. It seems a clip floating around depicting a beef isn’t what people are making it out to be.

Hot New Hip Hop is reporting that The Internets got it all wrong regarding Rihanna and Chrissy Lampkin. Last week both women attended the VIP invite only Roc Nation Brunch. A clip that circulated quickly around Instagram showed the two celebrities having some conversation where RiRi is seen leaning in saying she doesn’t “f*ck” with someone. Naturally this was quickly spun into a negative encounter as the two had some kind of friction.

The online chatter must have been staggering as Jim Jones even jumped in to put an end to the hearsay. In a now deleted Instagram post One Eye Willy showed another angle of their conversation via a video. The caption read “I got the real scoop lol. SMH social media is [the] devil.”

Chrissy also made reference to the senseless hating with a IG photo and caption that obviously put respeck on the “Diamonds” singer’s name. “There’s only 4 queens in a deck 🇧🇧” she wrote.

#LHHNY: Mr. & Mrs. Samuels Are Finally Official, Jim Helps Juelz, Karlie Redd & Sierra Denied Entry

LHHNY Season 10 Super Trailer

Source: VH1 / VH1

After tempers flared at Erica and Safaree’s joint bachelor and bachelorette party, their upcoming wedding is once again looking shaky. This week’s episode picks right up where last week’s left off.

Looks like Safaree is having some second thoughts about jumping the broom with Erica Mena. He heads to Yandy’s house to vent to her about what went down the previous night. He explains that he did invite Rich to the party, which led to all the drama, but he was not feeling Erica’s lingerie mob coming for him about his decision.

Safaree tells Yandy he is not as happy as he was when he first proposed to Erica. Yandy quickly reminds him that’s not how relationships work, and there are gonna be problems which is healthy, he just has to be committed to fixing them. Yandy further explains to Safaree that he shouldn’t walk away from his commitment just because of one argument. Safaree isn’t trying to hear it and tells Yandy he is tired of dealing with negativity because it’s only going to get worse and storms out of Yandy’s crib.

Meanwhile, Safaree’s bride-to-be, Erica, isn’t in a good space either following the events at the bachelor/bachelorette party. To get her mind straight, she is staying at Remy and Papoose’s apartment instead of her house to avoid Safaree. Just like her fiancé, she is not happy. Erica can’t wrap her head around the fact that Safaree invited Rich, a man whom she claims disrespected her over the years, previous seasons of LHHNY say otherwise.

Anyway, Remy tries to explain to Erica that great marriages work out their issues, which results in stronger bonds. Erica tells Remy all she wants Safaree to do was step up and protect her in that situation despite knowing he is not a confrontational person, a quality she admits she loves about him.

We step away from the marriage no one really cares about and catch up with Kimbella. She gets a call from her currently incarcerated husband, Juelz. He tells her that he got the photos of the kids she sent him and that he misses his family. Kimbella tells him that she reconnected with Chrissy, and he thinks that’s great. Kimbella also mentions to Juelz that she linked up with his brother and that they want to do something with the music he has recorded but never got around to releasing. After a brief silence, Juelz gives her his blessings, and she is happy.

We check back in with our *sarcastic voice* favorite couple. It would seem the conversations they had helped them see the bigger picture, so the wedding is still on.  When Safaree arrives at the venue, his sister — who is also his best man — gives him a rosary with a picture of his deceased uncle on it. Safaree and his uncle had a special relationship, so the gesture brings him to tears.

The tears didn’t stop there, before the big ceremony, the couple seeing each other in their wedding drip brings them both to tears. Safaree gifts his bride a bracelet with her dead father’s signature, so she can feel like he is there at the wedding with her as she walks down the aisle. What a thoughtful gesture from Mr. Samuels.

We zap over to Chrissy’s home, no not the one that got foreclosed; apparently, they got themselves some new digs. Jimmy is back in town and already getting trouble because Chrissy caught him smoking. They talk about Kimbella, and Jim mentions he wants to check on her.  The Dipset Capo also expresses that he still has a lot of love for Juelz as well.

Before Safaree and Erica say I do, there is a bit of drama at the wedding venue. Tahiry and Joe link up to admire their wedding fits and are eventually joined by Yandy and her plus one Jonathan. Things get spicy between Tahiry and Jonathan go back and forth about the argument they had in a previous episode where he stuck up for Cyn because he thought Erica was messy by trying to hook joe and Tahiry up.

Joe finally chimes in and tells them his current situation with Cyn is none of their business and leaves it that. Another issue pops up when LHHATL stars, Karlie Redd and Sierra, show up. Apparently, they are not on the list and could not watch the ceremony due to Karlie sending in the invite late.

Finally, we get to the wedding, and more tears flow as the couple exchange vows and say I do, we are finally introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Samuels.

We head back to the city, and the ladies of Dipset, JuJu (Cam’ron’s ex), Chrissy and Kimbella meet up at a bar. Kimbella brings everyone up to speed on how Juelz is doing and says he feels like a lot of people don’t care about him anymore. Chrissy proves that is not the case by handing Kimbella an envelope full of cash from Jim. Kimbella appreciates the kind gesture. This episode was light on the drama, don’t worry, Love and Hip Hop will be back on its bullsh*t next week.

You can peep the reactions to the wedding and more in the gallery below.

#LHHNY: Yandy & Chrissy’s Tired Beef Continues, Jen The Groupie Slayer Wants Smoke With Jennaske

Jen The Groupie Slayer Wants All The Smoke With Jennaske On LHHNY

Source: VH1

Last week, Love & Hip Hop: New York ended with Chrissy and Yandy looking to square off once again thanks to Kimbella snitching, and that is precisely where last night’s (Dec.30) episode picks up.

The beef that pretty much has been simmering for nearly a damn decade continues. Chrissy walks into a heated conversation going on between Yandy, Cyn, Kimbella, and Jonathan. She immediately interjects into the conversation, and things are tense at first but eventually calm down to the point that Yandy and Chrissy can actually talk without things going left. Yandy claims that she really has no issue with Chrissy while Kimbella is still caping for the woman who literally dragged her across a room.

Yandy further explains that she has been going through a lot in her life and has no time for the nonsense and Chrissy concurs. Both Yandy and Chrissy’s confessionals tell a different story, with both of them taking digs at each other despite seemingly coming to some sort of a truce.

The beef will be put back on the stove when Chrissy and Yandy meet up once again to have a conversation with each other minus Kimbella trying to make it seem like Yandy is lying. Anyway, things get chippy between the two castmates once again when Chrissy reveals she told her “business partner” Greg aka “Big Bizness” to take down a picture from Instagram he took with Yandy.

We’re just gonna fast forward to the moment of the episode that really deserved all the attention. Last week we met the new kid on the Love & Hip Hop block Phresher. He quickly pointed out that he has been with his long-time sweetheart Jen for 20 years and has two children, and we finally get to meet them. We also learned how toxic he is during a conversation with fellow new castmate Jennaske where he suggested that she get her booty and breast done because that is wave now and that he wants to sign her to his music label. Keep in mind he only has one hit record, so how in the world does he own a record label?

Anyway, Phresher has competition if he wants Jennaske and her talent on his label because Rich Dollaz is already on the job and is making a strong impression on the up-and-coming rapper. At Jennaske’s showcase, Rich impresses her and shows that he is serious about working with Jennaske and “taking her to the next level.” He fills up the venue with his “music industry connects” and friends to see what she has to offer to the music world. Phresher, on the other hand, just shows up with nothing but promises while making another pitch to her to join his label, but Jennaske is like nah. In typical Love & Hip Hop fashion, Phresher’s wife Jen — whom he told not to come because of her attitude — shows up right on time to see the father of her kids holding Jennaske’s hand while they are talking.

We learn from Jonathan, who spots Phresher’s girlfriend in the spot that she goes by the name Jen The Groupie Slayer on Instagram, and she does not play. We quickly learn that when she approaches, Jennaske and Phresher and Jen wants all the smoke with the young rapper. Phresher gets in between his groupie slaying boo and Jennaske and finally gets her to go outside of the venue to talk, and she gives us flashes of why her Instagram handle is what it is.

The couple hops in Phresher’s jeep and pulls off, Jen warns Phresher to never to pull her away from a situation again. We know who be checking who in that relationship.

Other moments that went down during the episode include Tahiry and Joe Budden hanging out and Jonathan and JuJu saying Erica is wrong for trying to play matchmaker and bring them back together.

Speaking of Erica, her and Safaree are at odds once again after Yandy reveals he did invite her to the wedding despite him telling Erica otherwise.

You can peep all of the reactions, especially to Yandy and Chrissy’s ongoing beef, as well as Jen The Groupie Slayer below.

#LHHNY: Kimbella Is A Snitch, Phresher Is Toxic As Hell, Chrissy Addresses House Foreclosure & More

LHHNY Season 10 Super Trailer

Source: VH1

Last week a lot happened in the two-hour season premiere of Love & Hip Hop: New York with the return of OG cast member Chrissy Lampkin. This week the drama continues, plus we finally meet this season’s new additions Phresher and Jennaske.

The episode opens up with Chrissy, Kimbella, and Juju hopping on a private jet to attend a Lady Millionaires Group meeting. During the flight, Kimbella, who all of a sudden is Chrissy’s best friend despite getting dragged across a room by Lampkin, decides to snitch on Yandy. Kimbella tells Chrissy how she brought up the foreclosure of her New Jersey home reading the Bossip story that caught traction on the web. Chrissy is visibly annoyed and says that Yandy still hasn’t changed since she fired her many moons ago.

We catch up with Papoose, and he’s at Hot 97 with Phresher, the two kick a freestyle for DJ Drewski. Phresher reveals during his introduction, that he became friends with Pap and Remy Ma after she hopped on the remix for his track “Wait a Minute.”

Erica and Tahiry link following Mena’s disastrous meeting with a lawyer last episode where she blindsided Safaree stating she wanted a prenuptial agreement. After seeing her future husband get so upset, Erica is now having second thoughts about having her fianceé sign a prenup.

Chrissy and co finally arrive at the Lady Millionaires Group meeting, and she is ready to open up about what happened to her home. The room is full of Black women giving Chrissy a look of concern, being that they now know what is going on in her life with the foreclosure of her home. While explaining to the room that she let Jim Jones handle all of the business cause it was all in his name, she breaks down. Chrissy also revealed that she has been living apart from Jimmy and staying in Miami. After listening to her, the investors come to an understanding and are willing to still give her their money.

Now its time for Safaree to tell his side of the story. He links up Papoose, who seems to be playing counselor for the problematic men on this show. Papoose explains to Safaree he believes he should sign the prenup to help build Erica’s trust in him.

Papoose uses his experience with Remy and understands that the past behavior these women had to deal with is the reason trust is such an issue with them.

The scene changes to a photoshoot the other new face on this season of #LHHNY, Jennaske. Jonathan is on hand because he did the young up and coming rapper’s makeup for the “shoot.” Jonathan is very impressed with Jennaske and feels she possesses the potential to make it in the rap game. So he decides to invite Rich Dollaz to meet the former backup dancer turned rapper. When Rich arrives, she kicks a quick “freestyle” that impresses the Love & Hip Hop regular.

She reveals that she also knows Phresher and how he wants to pay for her plastic surgery and put her in an apartment. In the end, she just wants to work with someone professional but also notes she knows Rich’s history when it comes to the artists he has worked with.

Following her meeting, Chrissy FaceTime’s Jimmy to explain to him how it went and how she managed to smooth things over with the investors. Jimmy doesn’t seem to be taking what Chrissy is telling him seriously, and she quickly ends the call, obviously annoyed at his response.

Yandy and Jonathon meet up, and they discuss Kimbella and feel that she is going to report back to her new friend Chrissy about what Yandy said. Of course, they are both right but have no idea that it has already happened. Yandy has no interest in making things better between herself and Chrissy. Jonathan, on the other hand, is worried that his friendship with Chrissy will come to an end because of the situation.

Safaree and Erica link up to discuss following their separate discussions on the prenup matter. Safaree mans up to Erica and admits that he didn’t handle situations as best he could, giving her reason not to trust him. He tells her he is willing to sign the prenup now to make her happy. Erica surprises him when she says she doesn’t want him to do it anymore and that she trusts him.

Phresher and Jennaske meet up for dinner to have a discussion about her “career.” He thinks to have a successful rap career, she needs surgery because he believes that’s what people want to see from female rappers. Basically, some headass logic on his part. Jennaske fires back, stating that she doesn’t need to enhance her body, and she wants to win on her talent alone. She then reveals she met with Rich Dollaz and invited him to her music showcase and that Phresher should come as well. This revelation definitely ruffles Phresher’s feathers, Jennaske knows she is going to have to choose between them, she really should think about not working with either of them honestly.

We finally arrive at the launch party of Jonathon’s new fragrance. He has invited all of the girls, including Chrissy, despite knowing the possibility of drama happening when she arrives. Before she walks into the building, Jonathon, Yandy, Cyn, and Kimbella have a discussion. Kimbella still feels that Yandy was shady while reading the story while Cyn, Jonathon, and Yandy disagree with her. While they are arguing, Chrissy just happens to walk in at that exact moment.

Kimbella tells Chrissy that Yandy was acting shady. Yandy refutes that, Chrissy, of course, can’t stand Yandy and threatens to get physical with her. We will have to wait till next week to see how this will all play out. For now, you can hit the gallery below to see reactions from the episode.

Jim Jones & His Forever Fiancée Chrissy Lampkin Return To ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’

Jim Jones & Chrissy Lampkin Returning For Season 10 of LHHNY

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

When Love & Hip Hop: New York returns for its 10th season, fans will see some familiar faces from previous seasons. Page Six is reporting that OG cast members, Jim Jones and his forever fiancée, Chriss Lampkin will be back on VH1’s hit reality show.

Mona Scott-Young is hoping Jones and Lampkin who haven’t been on the famed franchise since season 1 and 2 can restore the feeling fans claim is missing since the show first premiered. They are not the only ones returning, Tahiry Jose, who is the ex-girlfriend of returning cast member, Joe Budden will also be on board and contributing to the drama the gossip column reports. Joe is currently single after proposing to Cyn Santana last season. So we expect some sort of storyline involving all three of them.

Along with those names, fans can look forward to the return of Safaree Samuels, his very pregnant wife Erica Mena-Samuels, Remy Ma, and her husband, Papoose. Kimbella, who famously got hands and feet put on her literally by Chrissy Lampkin in the reality show franchise’s inaugural season, will be back.

It will be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out between the both of them in the 10th season. Kimbella is also dealing with the fallout of her husband, Juelz Satana, being locked up plus news broke recently about the foreclosure of the couples New Jersey $650K condo. Ironically Jim Jones and Lampkin also saw their NJ home seized by the bank as well. Rich Dollaz, who also has been in the news for missing child support payments, will be back as well as Cam’ron’s ex JuJu, Yandy Smith, and makeup artist Jonathon Fernandez.

After years of being labeled the lackluster show of the Love & Hip Hop franchise, it looks like season 10 of LHHNY could bring it back to its glory. We are patiently awaiting that super trailer to give us a preview of the mess, and we know it’s not too far from dropping.

Jim Jones & Chrissy Lose NJ Mansion To Foreclosure, Property Sold For $100

Jay-Z Performs At Webster Hall - Backstage

Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty

“Baaallliiin” was Jim Jones signature phrase in 2006…but that doesn’t seem like it’s really the case these days.

According to Bossip, Dipset capo Jim Jones and long-time partner Chrissy Lampkin lost their NJ mansion after The U.S. National Bank Association sued the reality star couple back in 2017 for allegedly failing to pay their mortgage since

2010. According to the complaint, Jones bought the house in 2006 and took out a $680,000 mortgage with a 6.875 percent interest rate. He agreed to make monthly payments of $4,467, but instead, Jones stopped paying it almost ten years ago, defaulting the loan and accelerating the total balance.

Apparently, Jim Jones and Chrissy were unable to come up with the cash because the courts issued its final judgment against the couple last week and the property was sold for $100 at an auction.

Despite legal woes, Jones has been focused on making music. As previously reported early this year while celebrating his B-Sides Reunion with partner in rhyme Cam’ron and Jay Z, Jones was also celebrating beating a gun case in Georgia just in time for the release of his first major solo project in 10 years and The Heatmakerz collaboration, El Chapo.

Staying on track, Jim Jones released a new visual for the lead single, “Make No Issues of It.” Despite being outed as a part of the Nine-Trey Blood Gang by Rap agitator turned federal witness Tekashii 69, the new video directed by Jimmy and Shula The Don features Jones letting the red flags fly.

“I’m in your halls with Taj Mahals and some red caps,” Jones raps donning a crimson jacket. “When we ball, even the feds took pictures of it. And I ain’t here to make no issues of it.”

Since the allegations of his involvement in the infamous Blood gang was revealed in court, Jones has yet to confirm or deny the allegations. Last week when the news broke of the audio being played in court, highlighting Jones’s involvement in gang activities; including the targeting of Tekashii 69, Jones responded with an Instagram post in the gym showing he was staying focused.

“#Incaseyoudidnt we got busy at another hotel stay focus don’t let them side trac u from ur mission,” Jones wrote.

Check out the video for “No Issues of It” below.

‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Renewed For Season 10—Tahiry, Chrissy & Jim Jones Back

Jay-Z Performs At Webster Hall - Backstage

Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty

VH1 reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: New York will be returning for a 10th season. But the big news is that a gang of OG’s are back, including Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones, Tahiry Jose and Somaya Reece, among others.

Reports TMZ:

You heard right … season 10 is actually being shot right now in Brooklyn, according to our sources, and we also got word on who’s been involved. The list includes some OG cast members from seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and an assortment of new couples and exes that looks like an all-star roster:

Joe Budden and Cyn Santana (They’re broken up now, but will be featured regardless.)

Juelz Santana and Kimbella Vanderhee (Kimbella was also on season 2.)

— Yandy Smith-Harris and Juju C. (She’s been there from the beginning, and Juju since season 8.)

— Safaree and Erica Mena (They’re engaged now, and Mena hasn’t been on since season 8.)

— Jonathan Fernandez, Rich Dollaz, Danny Garcia and Erica Mendez

— Tahiry Jose’s back from seasons 3 & 4. Singer Jennaske is being intro’d for the first time.

Also in the fold are Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin, who as far as we know still haven’t tied the knot. Rapper and model Somaya Reece is also reportedly back.

Love & Hip Hop: New York has really been around for 10 seasons. That’s a lot of beef, so expect at least a handful of fades throughout the season.
