Jack Harlow Donates To Civil Rights & Other Organizations In Kentucky

Jack Harlow002

Jack Harlow is giving back to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, in a major way. People reported Monday that Jack is donating to a number of organizations spanning civil rights and support for domestic violence victims including AMPED, Center for Women and Families, Grace James Academy and more.

In a statement, the “What’s Poppin’” rapper said he wants to provide the right example and shine a light on Louisville. He said it was impossible for him to choose just one organization. They all resonated with the Louisville native.

“It means everything. It’s my foundation. It’s part of my DNA. People joke about how often I reference my home, but it’s a huge part of my identity and I want you to think of Louisville when you think of me,” Harlow shared. “My career feels like a mission that’s bigger than me.”

This isn’t the first time Jack Harlow has given back to his hometown. Earlier this year, he donated new uniforms and softball equipment to a local Special Olympics team in Louisville.

Earlier this summer Harlow, Live Nation, and Rolling Loud announced the Creme De La Creme tour. The tour is set to start on September 8 in Orlando and wrap on November 19.

Kodak Black Donates $20K to Fort Lauderdale Child

Kodak Black $20k

The “Feelin’ Peachy” rapper always seems to show his big heart, despite the hothead we can see on social media. Kodak Black is donating $20K to the child of a police officer, who succumbed to the deadly COVID-19 virus.

As the pandemic reaches its second wave of cases, states like Florida and California have seen a large increase in COVID cases. The CDC recently made a report, stating that Florida alone has at least 20K COVID-19 cases. Our hearts go out to the families of those affected by COVID-19, including the family of officer Jennifer Sepot.

The For Lauderdale police officer reportedly passed away following complications with the deadly virus, Sepot would leave behind her 2-year-old daughter. Once the story reached the news, Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen shared with TMZ that the rapper felt the desire to step in and help.

“Make sure that kid is straight. Pay for her college fund,” Cohen stated Kodak told him. It is believed that Kodak was moved by the story of Sepot because he also contracted COVID-19 last year.

In a statement issued by the Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Police, they mention that they are “grateful to everyone who has donated to the Sepot family in memory of Jennifer. Her loss has had an immeasurable and lasting impact on our officers. The generosity by supporters has offered a degree of hope during a time in which support for law enforcement feels to be a waning movement.”

Rest In Peace to officer Jennifer Sepot.
