It’s the Bey effect. Megastar Beyoncé continues to trailblaze as she joins five women as the only women to have every track on an album chart. All 16 tracks from her latest Renaissance album have landed a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Cardi B, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo and Adele are the only women to have achieved the same.

Billboard Bardi stays on top with “WAP.”
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion broke the internet a couple of weeks ago when they released their raunchy track. While the track was embraced by the majority, they received some backlash from haters. After all haters going to hate. Despite the criticism, “WAP” debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Now it keeps its place on the Hot 100 throne for another week.
Cardi B earns her 3rd Hot 100 No. 1 after the success of “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” On the other hand, Megan Thee Stallions earns her 2nd No. 1 in less than 6 months following the success of “Savage.” It also becomes the first chart-topping debut of the year to remain at No. 1 for multiple weeks. “WAP” is Cardi B’s first release of 2020, which means her album will soon follow.
The music video also featured a number of female rappers including Mulatto, Sukihana, and Rubi Rose. The video also featured Kylie Jenner.
The Hot 100 top 3 rounds out with Drake and Lil Dirk’s “Laugh Now Cry Later, and Da Baby and Roddy Ricch’s “Rockstar.”

6ix9ine called it! And now it is true. Tekashi 6ix9ine earned his first Hot 100 chart-topper in “TROLLZ” with help from Nicki Minaj. Prior to the debut of the number one hit, the colorful rapper took to Instagram Live to get some stuff off of his chest. In the rant, he mentioned Future, Meek Mill, and more. Nicki joined 6ix9ine following his individual rant and got some things off of her chest as well.
While Tekashi 6ix9ine is allegedly banned from the airwaves, he proved that he simply does not need it. Numbers don’t lie. As expected, the “TROLLZ” rapper took to Instagram to pop champagne like he won a championship game.
“YOU CAN SAY WHAT EVER IM NUMBER 1 AND YOU CANT TAKE THAT FROM ME I WENT UP AGAINST THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND WON!!!!!!!!! @nickiminaj WE ARE THE FUCKING MONSTERS OF THIS SHIT I LOVE YOU MOMMAZZZ”
The Hot 100 chart-topper also stated streaming platforms, Spotify and Apple’s attempt to blackball him failed. Typically, new rap songs make the platform’s hottest rap playlists. Tekashi 6ix9ine has yet to make that playlist with either of his first two singles in 2020. The 7-day rant is certainly going to garner a lot of attention this week. Most of us are looking forward to it. We can’t say the same for those who did not want Tekashi 6ix9ine to hit number one.
Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to thank the Barbz for their outstanding support. Following the early success of Trollz, she is the artist with the most #1 on the Digital Songs Sales chart this year and the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill (1998) to debut #1 on the Hot 100.
