50 Cent Flexes His Patriotism & Salutes The Troops

50 Cent

New York rapper 50 Cent is all about the troops. The hip-hop veteran pulled through in a big way this week to pay homage to the military.

This week, 50 teased something brewing with former Netflix “Luke Cage” star Mike Colter.

Recent buzz emerged about the likelihood of nixed Marvel shows like “Luke Cage” resurrecting on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

In October, speculation developed about why Netflix canceled its popular “Luke Cage” Marvel series after two seasons.

A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that the cancellation was due to creative differences and the inability to agree to terms for a third season of the show. Netflix doesn’t release viewership figures for its content. (The Hollywood Reporter)

50 Cent Responds To Khabib Numagomedov Manager Trashing $2 Mil Bellator Offer: “Bad Representation”

50 Cent

New York rapper 50 Cent isn’t impressed with Khabib Numagomedov‘s manager. The hip-hop star has responded to the UFC champion’s frontman laughing off a $2 million offer for his client to joint MMA franchise Bellator.

Fif hopped on Instagram Monday (October 15) with some specific words for Ali Abdelaziz.

Earlier in the day, footage surfaced of Ali shutting down Fif’s hefty opportunity.

As for 50 Cent, the rapper is now in business with the Bellator MMA promotion and has been trying to recruit Khabib over to the rival league. He recently made a $2 million offer to Khabib but Ali says it ain’t nearly enough. “For $2 million, [that won’t even] open a Coca-Cola bottle for Khabib. Khabib make a lot of money. We talk about $50 MILLION and up, we can talk. But $2 mil? This is garbage.” (TMZ)

Over the weekend, 50 Cent hyped up a potential opportunity to get Khabib to ditch the UFC.

Jackson’s offer followed Khabib’s recent publicized post-UFC 229 Conor McGregor brawl.

Nurmagomedov later responded to the post in the comment section with his trade “send me the location” before inviting Jackson to visit Dagestan. The $2 million Jackson is offering would match Nurmagomedov’s fight purse for UFC 229, which is currently being held by the Nevada State Athletic Commission while the continue their the investigation of the brawl. McGregor, on the other hand, received his full $3 million paycheck. (MMA Fighting)

50 Cent Makes $2 Million Bid For Conor McGregor’s Worst Nightmare: “UFC’s Not The Only Game In Town”

Power 50 Cent Kanan

New York rapper 50 Cent really wants Khabib Nurmagomedov to think bigger than UFC. The hip-hop star has offered up $2 million to have the prized fighter come over to MMA rival Bellator.

Fif went to Instagram last night (October 12) with his hefty offer for Khabib to break his UFC contract.

Jackson’s offer follows last weekend’s publicized post-UFC 229 Khabib and Conor McGregor brawl.

Despite the major opportunity, reports claim it’s unlikely Khabib will part ways with the UFC.

Although the rapper may be putting a generous offer on the table, it’s ultimately likely a very meaningless one. Nurmagomedov is contractually obligated to the UFC and won’t be able to part ways with the company unless he’s released or opts to breach his contract, which is highly unlikely. (MMA Junkie)

In late September, 50 Cent announced a new Viacom and Bellator MMA deal.

“You already know. We here, I’m celebrating, just did a new deal. Viacom. Bellator. MMA. It’s going down. You see I got the WBA right here. This right here, next year it’s gonna just be me versus me for Hustler of the Year. I’m doing it big. I’m the heavyweight champion of this sh*t right here. I got this sh*t going. You see me. Don King ain’t Don King. Don King’s old. I’m Don King. I’m the American Dream around this motherf*cking championship scene. Working the room like a motherf*cker. But they paid me, so, check this out. Give me something, a little watch, something like that, I send something over there. All that little money, the money you were upset you didn’t put into the actual boxing sh*t, I’m not upset about that sh*t at all. Not at all. If we were cool, I wouldn’t be making a deal like this right now. My n*gga, you did it. You did it, Sha. I know you didn’t mean to do it, you little retarded motherf*cker but you did it. [laughs]”

50 Cent Calls Himself New Don King & Announces Deal: “Y’All Thought I Was On Some Bow Wow Challenge S**t”

50 Cent

New York rapper 50 Cent is gaining some serious clout right now. The hip-hop heavyweight has announced a new Viacom and Bellator MMA deal.

Fif went to Instagram Thursday to celebrate the major sports power move and low-key fire some shots.

“You already know. We here, I’m celebrating, just did a new deal. Viacom. Bellator. MMA. It’s going down. You see I got the WBA right here. 50 also went to his IG page to announce a new deal with Bellator MMA and some new signature Get The Strap apparel.

At a recent Bellator 199 MMA event press conference, company head Scott Coker said Fif’s next project would come out this summer.

During the press conference, Coker was asked if there was a business deal with 50 yet and he replied with a surprising answer that the G-Unit boss is releasing a new album in a few weeks. “Yeah, he’s got a new album dropping in about six weeks,” Coker said around the 5:45 mark. “It’s like, look, he loves MMA. And when a big star like that loves MMA and wants to be involved, it just makes a lot of sense. And he wanted to come and check it out. This was his first time to a Bellator fight,” he continued. In early June, 50 teased fans about new music in the works and promoted his now-infectious “Get the strap” catchphrase.
