#GoodLuckWithThat: Birdman Wants His Face Tats Removed [Video]

Birdman is finally smelling the grown-up coffee. The Cash Money Records founder wants to remove all the gangster art from his face.

Baby made a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show and While the majority of the conversation touched on his new project with Juvenile and his romantic dealings with R&B songstress Toni Braxton, he did drop some jewels about himself.

When discussing his personal growth, he alluded to removing his signature designs from his mug.

“I didn’t want to take the head [tattoos] off but I wanted to take the facials off,” he explained. “I just felt like me being older, I would like to get it off.”

He pointed to possibly being pigeonholed when engaging in new business opportunities during a separate interview with Forbes Magazine. “I just think at this point in my life, I don’t need that. That stereotypes you. It takes away from the business and certain things.” He also admitted that he was inspired by his friend 50 Cent who recently removed his ink and even referred him to a facility who specializes in the removals.

Lil Wayne wasn’t the only Cash Money Records artist to say they’ve been stiffed on getting properly compensated during their time on the label. After Tyga brought a $10 million lawsuit against Birdman over unpaid royalties, it looks like the two sides are trying to work out a settlement deal.

The Blast reports:

Earlier this year, Tyga sued Cash Money and Young Money Records accusing them of ceasing to pay him royalties for the albums “Careless World” and “Hotel California” after they parted ways in 2016.

He claimed to have demanded his money numerous times but was never paid.

The rapper sued for breach of contract and is seeking $10 million in damages.

On October 1, docs were filed in the case in which Birdman’s Cash Money is asking for an extension to respond to the lawsuit. Birdman acknowledges that his answer was due this week but is requesting until the end of the month.

The outlet adds that Birdman has gotten an agreement from Tyga to extend the deadline to respond to the lawsuit. There is still an impending ruling by the judge overseeing the matter.

Tyga is currently is signed to his own imprint Last Kings Records and distributed by Empire.

Birdman Source Shoots Down Claims He Ordered Lil Wayne Tour Bus Hit

On Monday (Oct. 1), the rumor mill was ablaze with news that a leaked phone call from 2015 from Birdman connected him to the shooting of Lil Wayne‘s tour bus in April of that year. However, a source connected to Birdman says that the call had nothing to do with that shooting.

TMZ reports:

The man convicted of shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus took a jailhouse phone call from Birdman … and it sounds like Birdman was congratulating him on a job well done.

The phone call was made while Jimmy Winfrey was incarcerated in Cobb County, GA. Winfrey would eventually be convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for shooting Weezy’s bus in April 2015.

During the call Birdman says, “Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss.”

The audio is shocking for several reasons, not the least of which being the fact Wayne and Birdman recently squashed their beef, and Wayne finally released “Tha Carter V.”

The outlet adds that the audio surfaced as part of a civil lawsuit filed by the driver of the bus, Alvin Lewis, who also named Young Thug in the suit. Lewis claims Birdman promised Winfrey $250,000 and a Porsche for carrying out the hit.

But a source told TMZ that the call that surfaced isn’t connected and further, Birdman doesn’t think Winfrey is the shooter nor would he be linked to anyone who would bring harm to the Young Money honcho.
