ASAP Ferg Promises to Address ‘Super Petty’ ASAP Mob Drama on Upcoming Song

ASAP Ferg Promises to Address 'Super Petty' ASAP Mob Drama on Upcoming Song

ASAP Ferg did a virtual interview with Hot 97 fresh off the heels of the release of his Floor Seats II project.

It was only right that the ASAP Mob drama that unfolded recently was brought up in the conversation.

ASAP Illz claimed the “Shabba Ranks” rapper was ousted from the group, and ASAP Bari, who pleaded guilty to sexual assault in 2019 and went on to launch a successful clothing line, corroborated the statement. But ASAP Nast said that Ferg is still down with the clique.

“It was something super petty, but to make a long story short…I address it in a song called ‘Big ASAP’ that I’m adding on to the project in a week,” Ferg explained, alluding that he’ll get more into detail. “You’re gonna get all the answers you want out of that song.”

ASAP Ferg found a silver lining in that grey cloud. “They gave me promo I couldn’t pay for,” he said with a smile. “That A is still in my name, that A is still tatted on me.”

According to Ferg, he was with ASAP Rocky when the situation went down and he was just as confused. “We were working on music for most of quarantine,” he added.

When asked about the possibilities of ever leaving the group, Ferg promptly shut it down. “I am in in the ASAP Mob,” he replied. “I mean, who’s been waving this flag for the past couple years?”

ASAP Ferg & Nicki Minaj to Drop ‘Move Ya Hips’ This Thursday

ASAP Ferg & Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj answered ASAP Rocky’s inquiry with one tweet. ASAP Ferg followed with the confirmation. On Sunday, Flacko took to Twitter to encourage his fellow ASAP brethren to drop an anticipated collab with Nicki Minaj.

“SUMBODY TELL @ASAPferg 2 DROP DAT SHIT WIT HIM N NICKI ASAP,” said the “Fashion Killa” rapper.

The tweet led many to think that the track would be coming soon. Despite a lack of response from ASAP Ferg himself, Nicki took to Twitter to respond first.

“Flacko, I heard it was coming Thursday but I could be wrong,” said the Queen rapper.

Less than 10 minutes later, Ferg confirmed Nicki’s notion. Now the anticipated release has taken over Twitter.

“The Queen is never wrong. ‘Move Ya Hips,’ 7/30.”

This is not the first time that the New York natives have worked together. The Barb jumped on Ferg’s remix to his hit single, “Plain Jane” back in 2017. The song has been certified 4-times platinum.

It looks like Nicki is continuing her successful year of features. The mother to be earned her first two number one songs earlier this year with Doja Cat’s “Say So” remix and 6ix9ine’s “TROLLZ.” With that feat, she became the 2nd female rapper after Lauryn Hill with consecutive Hot 100 No. 1 singles.

A$AP Ferg continues to evolve as one Hip-Hop’s most proven pitch men. He has signed on with BMX for a cycling collaboration.

The Harlem native, who has had a known affinity for the peddle driven vehicles, has inked a deal for his own signature two-wheeler. On Tuesday, June 4 BMX bike brand Redline announced their collaboration with him on an exclusive limited-edition bike and original merch line.

The Hood Pope detailed how special this initiative is to him and his historic community. “When you think BMX bike in Harlem, you think Redline,” says A$AP Ferg, “This collaboration is something I was really involved in and passionate about.”

Ferg originally debuted his exclusive Redline bike during his performance the Something In The Water festival in Virginia Beach. The new bike’s design aspects include slack forks, plus-sized tires, 27.5 wheels and disc brakes. In addition, the bike features style accents like A$AP Ferg x Redline branding as well as a unique Pantone 394 fade to Matte Black finish.

“RL 275 is one of our top bikes for the BMX market and to combined it with someone as influential as A$AP Ferg has been exciting for us,” says Redline brand manager, Steven Behen. “Redline has maintained a loyal following for years and these types of organic collaborations will help propel our growth and expand brand awareness to a new generation and customer.”

Did A$AP Ferg Tie The Knot With His Longtime Love? (Exclusive)

Renell, ASAP Ferg, Winnie Harlow

A$AP Ferg and his lover Renell Medrano have fueled rumors that they’ve gone ahead and jumped the broom.

The Harlem rapper set tongues wagging this week when he and his longtime partner debuted rings on their ring fingers at a dinner for the launch of Virgil Abloh’s bottle design collab with Moet Chandon Oct. 16.

Ferg rocked a chunky gold piece on his ring finger that seemed to be inspired by 1980s Harlem. Meanwhile, his lady love – who looked amazing in a silk lime green corset – sported a dainty number with diamonds all around it on her left hand.

The pair were acting like newlyweds and were inseparable all night at Abloh and Moet’s dinner, which also brought out Chloe Sevigny, socialite Hannah Bronfman, Emily Rajakowski and DJ Va$htie.

Ferg seemed in total awe of his photographer lady love, putting his arms around her as they chatted to model Winnie Harlow, who sat next to them.

The “Shabba Ranks” rapper hasn’t exactly kept his possible nuptials under wraps. His Instagram shows he’s been rocking the ring since at least the summer time.

It’s unclear if the pair is legally married because New York state law bars anyone except a bride or groom from obtaining info about a marriage license. We’ve also reached out to Ferg’s rep for comment.

If the pair did indeed tie the knot, we wish them the best!
