Former G-Unit Member Young Buck Arrested, Held Without Bond

Former G-Unit member turned 50 Cent nemesis Young Buck spent his holidays behind bars and it looks like he won’t be coming home anytime soon.

According to Fox 17 NashvilleYoung Buck, whose real name David Darnell Brown, was jailed on December 20th in Cheatham County, Tennessee on a felony fugitive from justice warrant for child abandonment out of Georgia. Brown was taken into custody after an officer pulled over a driver of a black Ford F-150, in which Buck was passenger, who appeared to be talking on his cell phone while driving.

The officer notes that upon approaching the vehicle, he smelled marijuana. When asked by the officer if there was marijuana in the truck, Brown reportedly handed him a rolled joint and said it was his. Despite his compliance, which helped the “Stomp” rapper avoid additional charges, a system check showed that Buck had a full extradition warrant out of Newton County, Georgia for child abandonment. Brown was placed in custody before police conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.

During the search, officers found a clear baggy containing approximately three grams of marijuana on the passenger side of the vehicle, which Young Buck claimed and advised the officer he was attempting to hand it to him when it fell. Police told Fox 17 that Buck was not charged with the marijuana because of the pending extradition to Georgia and his “very cooperative” demeanor.

Despite his cooperation, Young Buck will spend the next few months in jail due to his warrant type, making him ineligible for bond until his court date in May.

This isn’t the first time that Young Buck has been behind bars. In 2016, the rapper was arrested for violating probation in regards to a restraining order after trying to contact an ex who had a restraining order against him. Then in 2017, he was indicted for on misdemeanor charges of domestic assault and vandalism after allegedly calling his then ex more than 100 times, threatening to torch her apartment, and kicking down her door-resulting in him being imprisoned for 7 months.

Young Buck’s next court date is set for May 7th, 2020. We will keep you updated as this story develops.

Source: Nuccio DiNuzzo / Getty

R. Kelly is enduring a momentous amount of struggle and it’ll be a Christmas miracle if he sees the light of day again. Adding to the mountain of trouble that R&B singe is facing, he was slapped with an arrest warrant after not appearing in Minnesota court for a hearing on sex crime charges.

The Blast
reports:

Kelly was due in a Hennepin County, Minnesota courtroom today after he was charged with multiple sex crimes in that state.

As everyone in the country knows the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ singer is currently behind bars on very similar charges in Chicago. So, the only way he was going to make the hearing is if someone came and got him.

They didn’t. So, the clerk in the court began the proceeding by asking if there a Robert Kelly in the courtroom. What? As expected there was no one by that name so a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The judge and prosecutor did say at one point they expected Kelly to be no show to the hearing.

The Minnesota case is connected to a matter in 2001 where Kelly allegedly paid a 17-year-old girl to strip for him. Yuck.

Arrest Warrant Issued For DeMarcus Cousins In Alabama

BIG3 - Week Seven - Chicago

Source: Stacy Revere / Getty

DeMarcus Cousins is in a sh*t ton of trouble. An arrest warrant has been issued for the NBA star after audio was revealed of his threatening to put a bullet in the head of his baby mama.

Yeah, that’ll do it.

USA Today first confirmed that an arrest warrant had been issued for Cousins in Alabama over the threats he made to the mother of his 7-year-old son. The NBA center was miffed the kid’s mother didn’t allow the child to attend his recent wedding.

She filed a police report on Friday (August 23). Cousins was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and third-degree harassing communications.

However, Cousins just underwent surgery on his left knee for a torn ACL. Apparently, this makes traveling to Alabama to turn himself in tricky since he has yet to be cleared to fly.

It must be said that considering this case in Alabama, Cousins may be in much bigger trouble than we might think.

No matter how trifling his baby mama allegedly was, you gotta do better, bruh.

Offset, already contending with a felony gun charge stemming from an arrest in 2018, now has another legal hurdle to hop. After the Migos rapper smacked a fan’s phone out his hand for filming him, an arrest warrant has been issued as the phone’s value triggered a felony charge.

TMZ reports:

TMZ broke the story, a week ago Monday Offset was in a Target store in Sandy Springs, Georgia, when a fan eyed him, pulled out his cell phone and tried taking a video of the rapper shopping after he checked out.

The fan said, “What up, Offset?” and that set Offset off. Offset said, “Get the f*** out of my face.” The video the guy, Junior Gibbons, shot shows Offset then smack the phone out of his hand. The instrument crashed to the ground and broke, shattering the screen.

Junior filed a police report last Friday, cops investigated and got a warrant.

Summertime In The LBC

Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty

The Game is contending with quite an expensive legal matter and it just escalated to a new level. A judge has issued a warrant for the Compton rapper’s arrest after being accused of avoiding paying a $7.1 million judgment in his sexual assault case.

BOSSIP exclusively reports:

The judge ordered The Game arrested and held Oct. 3 after he failed to appear yet again in Priscilla Rainey’s $7.1 million sex assault case against him.

The warrant, which was issued in Illinois Federal Court, instructs any law enforcement officer to apprehend The Game on sight, according to the warrant, which was obtained by BOSSIP.

Rainey won a $7.13 million judgment against The Game after suing him for assaulting her during a late night date off camera while they filmed the reality show.

We exclusively revealed that Rainey has been trying for months to get The Game’s financial records so that she can begin collecting her multi-million dollar judgment. But she’s complained that The Game not only ignored her requests but resorted to hiding his assets in a bid to get out of paying up.

The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was due to appear in court on Oct. 1 but failed to show. He was previously ordered to produce documents citing his financial earnings but has yet to do so. The judge wants The Game held behind bars until he provides his statements.
