Aaron Hernandez’s Ex-Fiance Opens Up About His Sexuality in Upcoming Interview

Aaron Hernandez was in the headlines for the past few weeks following the debut of the Netflix docu-series, Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez. The project raised topics like the ex-NFL star’s experience with CTE and his possible sexuality.

Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, spoke out for the first time since the release of the doc. “If he did feel that way or if he felt the urge, I wish that I was told. I wish that he would’ve told me ’cause I wouldn’t — I would not have loved him any differently. I would’ve understood. It’s not shameful and I don’t think anybody should feel shameful about who they are inside, regardless of who they love. I think, I think it’s a beautiful thing,” she told ABC News’ Amy Robach. “I wish I was able to tell him that.”

In the upcoming interview which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, she spoke about Hernandez’s alleged childhood lover, Dennis Sansoucie.

Sansoucie claimed that he engaged in a sexual relationship with Aaron Hernandez when they were in High School. Jenkins said she knows of Sansoucie, but they weren’t close during Aaron’s adult life.

Aaron Hernandez’s Lawyer Slams Documentary: ‘These Producers Lied Directly to My Face’

Netflix’s documentary exploring the life and conviction of Aaron Hernandez has been the talk of the weekend. The new series, Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez, examined the ex NFL star’s trial and revealed that he suffered from CTE, and allegedly had sexual relations with men.

After its premiere, Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, slammed the three-part docu-series. “I don’t give a damn about what some lame ass documentary has to say about Aaron,” Baez wrote on Instagram,. “I knew him, they did not and while he was far from perfect, they are not even close to the truth. People have no idea how documentaries are made, the truth is usually found on the cutting room floor. These producers lied directly to my face, so I don’t expect their money making scheme to be much better.”

In April 2017 Aaron Hernandez was serving a life sentence for the murder of his friend, Odin Lloyd when he was found hanging from his cell. He apparently committed suicide five days after he was acquitted for the double homicide, in an attempt to leave his fiance and daughter financially set.

Aside from all the tea that was spilled, it’s important to note that his brains showed severe signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy. This is a common disease found in football players caused by head trauma. The symptoms of this condition include mood swings and depression, and it was clear that Hernandez was unhappy at a point despite having all of his success.

What are your thoughts on the doc?

To many the story of ex-NFL superstar turned cold blooded killer, Aaron Hernandez is the ultimate example of “when keeping it real goes wrong,” and while most feel they already know what they need to know about the situation, Netflix is about to give viewers a better understanding of how everything fell apart for the former New England Patriots receiver.

From the same people that brought us Making A Murderer, Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez will be Netflix’s next three-part docuseries which will detail the trials and tribulations of Aaron Hernandez and will feature exclusive footage from his murder trial, prison phone calls, and interviews with those who knew him best. Needless to say that for a man who held many secrets close to the chest like his homosexuality, murderous appetite, and ultimately a wild suicide note, the series is going to get much burn when it drops on January 15.

Per Netflix:

As a gifted young football athlete from Bristol, Connecticut, Aaron Hernandez had capitalized rapidly on his promise, playing for a top tier college program before being drafted into the National Football League at the age of 20. But in 2013, fresh off of a newly inked five-year, $40 million contract with the New England Patriots, Hernandez would become a household name for the most infamous murder case involving an American athlete since OJ Simpson. Hernandez’s trials for the brutal killing of

Odin Lloyd and two Boston-area men yielded a Pandora’s box of secrets: a tumultuous and often abusive upbringing, a growing fascination with gang life, and other discoveries that painted a maelstrom of motivations behind his violent behavior.

Double Murder Trial Of Former Patriots Player Aaron Hernandez

The tragic life of Aaron Hernandez came to an end after the former New England Patriots player hung himself in jail last year. In the wake of his death, new details about Hernandez’s life are emerging and it appears he held secrets close to his chest.

In the first of a six-part series by The Boston Globe, the early part of Hernandez’s life was examined. From the onset, it becomes clear that Hernandez and his brother Jonathan endured abusive tactics from their father, Dennis Hernandez. In one portion of the profile piece, it is revealed that Hernandez wanted to become a cheerleader and his father put an end to that. The father also used a homophobic slur if he saw his boys acting in any other way that didn’t fit his standard of manhood.

Although it isn’t elaborated on much in the piece, Hernandez was molested as a boy and confided in his brother about it. Hernandez also had an alleged years-long relationship with a football teammate, who told the Globe that much of their time in school was about trying to hide their on-again, off-again relationship.
