T-Pain has rubbed a few members of the Hip-Hop community the wrong way after stating he would snitch if he was in Tekashi 6ix9ine’s position. Visiting Big Boys Neighborhood on a swing through Los Angeles, Teddy Pain was questioned on the situation where he stated “I would snitch so hard” and citing he would be thinking about himself and family over guys and the streets he may only recently get to know.
Once the clip hit the net, many had comments on Pain’s stance, bringing response forward from Fabolous, Snoop and more.
“Streets really done when people openly feel you can live a certain way for fame & money then throw others under the bus to save themselves & say they snitching to be wit they family. Meanwhile @mysonnenygeneral got a clip of a man tryna snitch on his own mama… Majority of people are for self but scream Gang Gang for the clout of it. Cuz it’s a popular thing to say. But then don’t stand on it in adversity,” Fabolous wrote.
Snoop’s statement in the Instagram comments was just as strong as Fab’s but much shorter, he simply said “weak.” Ja Rule saw an opportunity to take Fyre Festival and bad halftime performance heat off himself and referred to T-Pain as a rat before finding a way to throw 50 Cent under the bus.
